Molly hugs Ted back, grinning. "Uh huh," she says, and pulls out a little stack of neatly written parchments, setting them on the counter. "Oh! I totally tried your chili recipe the other day. It went, like, really well."

"Great! I'm glad! I tried out that salmon recipe you gave me and it was do die for!" He pulled out a matching stack and slid them over to her, "Meats on the top then some baked goods and then side dishes." He picked up hers and started sorting through them, "Also maybe we should put little stories with them if they have them. Where we got them from and what the most memorable time with them was."

"OhmyGod! That's, like, an awesome idea! Any maybe, like, at the back or something, or at the front, votever - we could have, like, suggested menu plans for whole meals based on what we've done in the past and how it's worked and all the good memories and all that sort of stuff," Molly chatters, flicking through the stack Ted has handed her. "I'm, like, totally in the mood for baking today. Which one do you reckon I should start with?"

[TWINSY... I just found out about some physics (Okay a lot of physics) that I have to do for tomorrow... sooooo... posting will be le random]

Ted nodded eagerly, "Menu ideas sound great! And if you want to bake try this, Ruhbarb Cookies. I know it sounds weird but they're ridiculously delicious. Now what's your favourite stew or savory pie or just something warm for winter recipe in there?"

[It's fine, love- I've suddenly got a stack of work to deal with anyway...]

"Rhubarb is my safe word," Molly blurts, while Mya facepalms. Bless her little heart. "Sounds interesting! I'm totally trying that one first. Oh! You should try the red wine and bacon Shepherd's Pie," she suggests, picking through the spice rack to get what she'll need there for the cookies. "It's, like, really yummy - super perfect as a winter dish!"

[SO. MUCH. WORK. *is taking a break*]

Ted almost fell over laughing when she said that, "Interesting but I don't think I'll ever need to know that." He took the recipe and read it through, "This sounds DELICIOUS" Tam really wants some now. He walked to the pantry to grab everything he needed.

[*huggles*]

"Oh. Did I, like, say that out loud? Sometimes I forget there's a difference between inner monologues and outer monologues," Molly says, shrugging. Votever. I'm starting to get the feeling she's a little exhibitionist, actually. I also really want that pie. Yep, definitely Friday arvo, my ability to self-filter has descended to the level of Molly. Molly gathers the rest of the ingredients for the cookies, preheats her oven, and reads through the method twice. "It really is, like, so yummy. Promise!" she says brightly, creaming the butter and sugar together.

Ted picked out all the things he needed and set the other oven heating then pulled out a large pot and boiled some water with his wand, putting the potatoes in and setting a timer. Then he pulled out another pan and started to fry up the bacon, "So how've you been lately?"

[WOOT! *kicks physics*]

"Oh, not all that much," Molly says lightly, as she plods along making the cookie dough. "Hanging out with Dem, watching Kingsley fly. You know, like, easy stuff. It's totally been kinda quiet lately. Maybe it's because people are, like, studying or something? I don't know anything about that," Molly chatters. "Plus Evans has, like, kidnapped my brother like a big annoying hogger," she tacks on. "How 'bout you?"

Ted laughed, "Actually I saw Lily the other day and it seems like she and Gideon are really great together. Or at least she couldn't stop talking about him. And studying? Who does that?" Because really Ted doesn't study all that much.... he thinks he studies and then realizes he never did. Like Tam. Anyway, Ted was now at the sauce stirring stage.

[Mya knows her twinsy was sick and forgives her. *snuggles*]

Molly pulls a face as she works on the cookie dough. "Ugh, like, don't remind me? They're all cute and stuff together. It's creepy. I mean, I s'pose Gid being all monogamous and stuff is, like, better than the manwhore phases, but still... ick." Molly shudders delicately, her little nose wrinkled with complete and utter distaste because she never promised Gideon she'd be nice about Lily, only to her, and only on Christmas. "I think Kingsley is, like, the only person I know who studies! And he does that way, way too much so I kinda do everything in my power to distract him," she explains, because studying really is a bad habit, it's a complete time-waster and there should be less of it in the world.

[Much grass <3]

Ted laughed at her and pulled out the potatoes to mash, throwing in the cheese. "Yeah manwhore phases are bad. And way too many of my friends study, I don't understand. I'd rather be in the kitchen this time of year or playing football but that's tough in the snow and there are no indoor fields here." He finished the potatoes and set them to one side, beginning to put together the pie.

"I know, right?" Molly says, preparing a baking tray. "I mean, not so much the football bit for me, but, like, where's the fun in musty old books when you can be in the kitchen making stuff that smells delicious and warms you up and makes you full? Oh, you know where there's space for an indoor football field?" Molly says, as if the most brilliant idea has just occurred to her. "The Great Hall. You could just, like, kick people out and move the tables and stuff!"

Ted's eyes lit up, "That would be brilliant! Molly you're a genius." Now now Ted, don't get ahead of yourself... "I should try that some time. "Sprout might throw a fit but she'd get over it. Eventually." He threw her a roguish grin and finished dishing up the pies, sliding them into the oven then he sat down and started eating the extra bacon.

Molly positively beams. No-one ever thinks she's a genius. Finally, someone's learning... No, not really, Molly's just wondering if Ted's all there now, since most people think she's an idiot. Well, get Gid high enough and he thinks Molly's every idea is genius, but maybe that's not such a good thing? "Well yeah, it's, like, not as if you're hurting anyone or wrecking anything, is it? You can just, like, magic everything back to normal afterwards!" Molly points out, portioning out the cookie dough onto the baking tray. "Besides, I bet a whole bunch of people would totally get into that if you did it. I'm, like, totally sure there's a couple of boys in my House who are football fans!"

Ted nodded, "There have to be. Even if we only get a three on three game or something I just need mates around here to play with!" Ted is just a leeeettle crazy. Maybe... Ted sat back and watched as she put the cookie dough out. "I'm so excited about trying all of this." He reached out and nabbed a little of the leftover dough.

Molly blinks. "You, like, don't do so good in winter when you're all cooped up, do you?" she comments, then smacks the back of his hand with her wooden spoon. "Oi! I totally didn't give the all clear for dough-nicking! Patience, Hufflepuff!" she tells him, and pops the tray in her oven, setting the timer. She hops up on the bench and grabs the bowl. "Alrighty, now it's cookie dough open season," she announces, scooping up some on her finger and tasting it. "Mmm- if the cooked version is anything like this, I'm totally predicting deliciagasms!"

Ted shook his head, "No, not at all. I NEED TO RUN FREEEEEEEEE"He flinched when she smacked the back of his hand with her spoon, "I want dough now!" Ted is a little bit crazy... he walked over to her and grabbed the bowl, holding it above her grasp, "Hah. I win!"

Oh no you didn't Ted Tonks! Molly's eyebrows hit her hairline and she stares at Ted, triumphantly lifting her bowl of cookie dough above his head like it's the World Cup. Or the Winfield Cup, but I don't think ANYONE here is going to get that reference, so votever. She slips off the counter and goes to stand nose-to-chest with him. "Are you, like, sure about that? Oh well," she sighs, as if to say 'it was nice knowing you'. And then Molly kicks Ted in the shin. Hard. (She's stronger than she looks, after all.) And she's also wearing her combat boots because her feet were too cold for stilettos. Plus Kings likes the boots. Mya wonders if Kingsley has a boot fetish and makes a mental note to ask Amethyst about that later, but the point of this post is that Molly just introduced a combat boot to Ted's shin.

Ted almost dropped the bowl when she kicked him in the shin but he's a rugby player. He won't cave that easily. Reaching up he grabbed some of the dough out of the bowl and ate it with a big grin. Taking one more bite he lowered the bowl a little, "So I take it you really want the dough?"
