Molly giggles. "I know, right? Like, between her barbie jeep and his motorbike, they could've Thelma and Louise'd it right off the side of the earth and not even slowed down!" She shrugs, giving her voice box a rest long enough to have another couple of bites of her food before speaking again. Because she's Molly. She's always going to be speaking again. "I saw Alice in the dorm a little while ago for, like, two minutes, and then that's it!" she says, throwing her arms wide dramatically.

Gideon grins, rolling his eyes a little at Molly's dramatic display. "Well, you have a completely decent point there, dear sister. Knowing them, they might even have built a jump ramp or something." He sighs a little, taking another forkful and eating it quickly. And yeah, Molly never stops speaking. Except to eat and sleep, and maybe she doesn't talk when she goes to the bathroom. Votever. "Oh? Talk about anything interesting? I haven't seen her in who knows how long - I wonder how we can go so long without seeing them, even in the same House!"

Who says Molly doesn't talk in her sleep? And Mya bets Molly would be one of those awkward people who doesn't stop talking to the person in the stall next to them when they go. That happened to her at work last week and it was awkward. "Just saying hi, really. Her cat, like, totally freaked me out. As usual," Molly frouts. "And I know, right! Like, I don't even know where they go! I even see Kingsley more than I see them and that's totally saying something because he practically lives in the Library these days!" she bursts out. Then she needs a little break so she has a drink.

Well, AJ figures if I occasionally talk in my sleep, Molly must. Occasionally I will talk to someone in the bathroom, but only if I'm already close to them. And that's enough OOC talking for one post. Gideon snickers. "She has a cat now? I didn't even know that! How does a cat freak you out, anyway? I would have thought freaking you out would be pretty hard." He ignores the part about Kingsley, because he would rather Kingsley be reading than doing other things with Molly...

Bathroom-conversations are fine with close friends. Not with colleagues... >.> Molly frouts. "I bet I still won't be allowed to have a puppy," she grumbles, having a moment of sibling jealousy. "And Gollum is, like, creepy. I bet he'd freak you out, too. He's all hairless and scary and I don't even think he's really a cat," she confides.

Gideon grimaces a little. "Wow, that does actually sound freaky. And no, probably not... But I'm sure it'd give you more of a probably cause to try and get one. How about I avoid him, then?" He says with a chuckle.

Molly now thinks it would be hilarious to play all sorts of pranks on Gideon involving Gollum the cat popping up in unexpected places, but that would never happen because Molly wouldn't want to touch the cat long enough to move him into place. She finishes the last few bites of food on her plate and puts her cutlery down, instead opting to fiddle absently with her butterbeer bottle. "Probably not. You should, like, buy me a puppy when you move out. Because then I, like, have to keep it because it's a gift, and you can't get in trouble for it because what are they gonna do - kick you out?" she says hopefully, and drains the rest of her drink.

Gidoen doubts that the cat, any cat, would stay put long enough to play that game. Gideon takes another mouthful, finishing his potatoes, and nods. "That is a good suggestion. Maybe it would make an appropriate housewarming gift for you when YOU move out, instead? Either/or. And yes, as long as it's a gift I would assume you'd be able to keep it. What kind would you prefer?" He asks, polishing off his food, and pulling the rest of his Butterbeer towards him.

Molly doesn't think these things through, Gideon should know that by now. Molly takes the empty plates and starts clearing up, using an odd little combination of the muggle way and cleaning spells that makes perfect sense in her world. "I don't want to wait 'til I move out. That's, like, forever away," she insists. She finishes up her work and leans against the counter, twirling her hair around her finger as she thinks a moment. "A big cuddly dog. I don't even know what type. I don't care. I just want a puppy, that's all," she says, wide-eyed and earnest because Molly really really means it. Mya wonders how Mol's gonna feel the first time the pup chews on one of her Jimmy Choos.

Gideon smiles at her eagerness. Maybe she'll get a puppy, if she's nice and good to him. "Well, if you're lucky..." He watches as she cleans, nursing the very last of his Butterbeer bottle and trying to make it last as long as possible. "Are you sure you shouldn't, you know, think about it first? That might probably be a good idea..."

Molly greams. 'If you're lucky' in big brother speak generally means 'yes'. Besides, Molly's luck has run pretty strong so far in her short life. "But I don't really care, you know. Long as it's, like, not a tiny little yappy dog that's not really good for much because I totally want a real dog! I'd love it anyway. I'm, like, so good at that," she says, and giggles cheekily. "I mean - look at the crazy siblings I ended up with, and I still manage to love you guys, right?" she jokes, scooping up her bag and slipping her notes and supplies back in.

And just a forewarning, AJ is typing this lying down, so there may be typos... >.> Molly does have good luck, but Gideon is already thinking it's going to take some work for her to get what she wants - this time, at least. "Well then, maybe you'll just get a yappy dog then," he smirks. "Crazy siblings? Love us anyway? You're the crazy one. I'm totally normal." Gideon says, flicking his hair out of his face with a smirk.

OhGod. Molly will be relentless; she will follow Gideon around from morning til night, listing all the ways she would take real good care of a puppy with wide brown eyes and lots and lots of puppy faces. Molly wrinkles her nose slightly. "Don't you think that would be, like, more of a 'Fabian' kinda pet?" She watches Gideon smirk and flip his hair and declare his normalcy and bursts into wild giggles. "OhmyGod I, like, totally love it when you go all delusional like that," she tells him, then goes to give him a hug. "Gotta go, Giddikins. See you soon?"

Maybe Gideon better get taht puppy now, then at least they can make puppy faces at each other... But he's not that easy. ExceptwhenitcomestoLily. I mean what?! -whistles innocently- Gideon smirks. "Oh, I don't know. I'm not commenting on that one," he laughs. "Okay, yeah, thanks for the food! Have fun with whatever you're up to!"

Oh jeez. Thanks for waking Inner!Lily up. Actually, no, that might be a good thing - she's been in a funk all day and now at least she's rolling her eyes and smirking and she says it's a shame for Gideon that's she's not as easy as he is. And now, since it's Molly's post, and Inner!Molly is making retchy-faces over here, I shall get on with things. Molly giggles along with Gideon, and decides not to tell him that what she's up to is going to find Kingsley to distract him. She gives him an extra tight hug for a second, then lets go. "Bye, Giddy," she chirps, and struts out of the kitchen, bag swinging happily in one hand.

Gideon just grins, still holding his Butterbeer bottle, and watches his sister go. After a few minutes, just thinking (OHSHOCKHORROR) and drinking the remainder of his Butterbeer, he stands and heads back up to the Common Room.

Arthur is hungry and looking for a tasty snack. He desperately wants to learn how to cook, for he knows girls like those kinds of things. He walks into the kitchen, and a bright smile appears on his face at the sight of Molly ~~Weasley~~ Prewett. "Hey," Arthur says brightly. "Are you making something?"

Molly looks up and smiles as that redheaded boy... Arthur, she remembers, after a half second of putting her mind to it, speaks to her. "Oh, hi! Yeah I'm gonna bake some cookies," she tells him, indicating the ingredients set out in order of when she'll need them. "It, like, relaxes me. What's up?"

"Nothing much," Arthur replies. "I was going to try to learn how to cook. I have a book of recipes my mum sent me after she heard I couldn't make my own toast. What kind of cookies are you making? I love cookies." Arthur smiles excitedly, for he really does love cookies - they are his favorite dessert.

Molly almost falls off her stool in shock. "You, like, can't even make toast? OhmyGod that's insane! You might be even worse in the kitchen than my brother Fabian you know - he can't even make a sandwich," she tells Arthur. "What books did your mother send? I'm writing a recipe book, you know. Well, me and Ted, we're writing it together. I'm making m&m's cookies. I dunno if you know those - they're, like, muggle candy. They're really good and they make totally awesome cookies!"

"I've eaten M and M before; one of my muggleborn friends showed them to me because they knew I was interested in Muggle stuff. Well, everyone knows I like Muggle things. And I normally don't burn toast - it was just that one time. But apart from toast, I don't cook much of anything else. And the recipe book is a copy of grandmum's old book. It's all in her handwriting, with really easy to follow instructions because she knew my granddad was a terrible cook." Arthur couldn't believe that Molly made cookies with Muggle candy - they had to be delicious.

"Ooh, that sounds like a totally awesome cookbook!" Molly says excitedly, and makes a mental note to not rag on this one like she does with most cookbooks because it's clearly special to Arthur and that would be insulting. Molly hesitates, wrinkles her nose. She doesn't usually let people who aren't kitchen-cleared help her cook. Fabian has a minimum safe distance of 10 metres. But before she really thinks about it, she's smiling. "Want to help? There's fresh cookies in it for you. Not to mention, like, the sheer thrill of working with a master in the kitchen."

"I think that I might take you up on your offer," Arthur replies with a smile. "I could definitely use advice from an expert chef like you. What do you want me to do? Remember that I have burnt toast before." Arthur is excited that Molly hasn't kicked him out of the kitchen, and that she actually appears to remember his name. Maybe he didn't make a fool out of himself too badly.

[I'm so sorry! *glares at work* I'm around HEAPS more for the next 2 days, so I promise to stop being such a fail!]

Molly holds up a hand as if to say 'whoa buddy'. "Listen, while we're in here this is my kitchen and I am, like, God in here. Mkay? So I'm totally in charge and stuff and when I speak, you jump," she orders, settling her hands on her hips with her Molly's-in-charge face firmly in place. Just because she thinks Arthur is nice and sweet and adorkable, doesn't mean he gets special treatment.
