Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy ignored him. Maybe if she didn't say anything, she would just be allowed to go back to sleep again. That totally made sense in her own little fantasy world. But when he moved quite a bit and then stopped, curiosity got the best of her. Squinting one eye a little, she peeked the other open to look at him, surprised to find his face so close. She closed her eyes again, edging her face forward just barely until the tip of her nose bumped his.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco smiled when she opened her eyes a little but pouted when they closed. When she bumped her nose against his he smiled, leaning forwards a little more to give her a soft kiss. He pulled back and nudged her nose with his, silently reminding her that closing her eyes wouldn't make him go away or stop trying to wake her up.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy pursed her lips softly as he kissed her, her mouth following him slightly as he pulled away. She opened her eyes to look at him for a second before a smirk crossed her face and she rolled over quickly, pulling the blankets tight around her and snuggling down into the covers, closing her eyes once again.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco rolled his eyes and shook his head slightly, scooting over so he was snuggled up against her back, his arm around her waist pressing kisses to the back of her neck. "Kitten, you can't sleep all day. I want to go to the library and you can cuddle up on the couch up there."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy melted into his embrace again, leaning into his warmth as he curled up behind her. She sighed, but upon mention of resting in the library, she opened her eyes again. "Can I sleep in there?" It was worth a shot, and she knew that whether he said yes or no, she'd end up asleep on that couch anyway. It was too comfy to not sleep on, and if he was there too, she would be perfectly happy and in perfect conditions for nap-taking.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco rolled his eyes again and pressed another kiss to the back of her neck, "Yes you can sleep in there. Just let me find some books before I become your pillow. Okay?" With another kiss to the back of her neck he slid away a little and sat up, pulling the blankets off her and with him, they were his after all.
Re: Parkinson Home
"Promise." Pansy smiled a bit victoriously, but she didn't get up until he'd pulled the covers off of her. She slowly got up and stretched, jokingly pushing her fingers against his cheek as she stretched her arms out to the sides. She slid out of bed and came around to Draco's side, grabbing his hand and pulling on it. "Come on, couch nap time."
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco let her drag him almost to the door before he stopped, "Oh wait one second." He wrapped the quilt around her because there is no good reason why they can't bring their quilt upstairs. He walked back to his drawers and pulled out a tshirt because he was pretty sure that lounging around with Pansy shirtless wasn't his best move at the moment. Slipping it on he walked back over to her and wrapped his arms around her and the quilt. Before she could try to drag him away again he adjusted his arms and picked her up, nudging the door open and heading upstairs to the library. He just had to hope Muffy or Leo didn't see them like this.... her in his arms in his quilt. That might be a little odd.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy pouted when he stopped her, standing there with her shoulders sagging and her arms all limp and looking quite disappointed. She watched as he grabbed the quilt, hugging it tightly around her when he draped it over her shoulders. It was good that he got a shirt, because though Leo likes Draco, it would not end well for him if he found the kid shirtless with his daughter all cozied up to him. Pansy laughed when he picked her up, resting her head sleepily on his shoulder as he carried her along. It would be quite unfortunate for either of her parents to discover them like this. Though not exactly risque, it was strange and would require explanations. Luckily though, they made it up to the library undetected and Pansy hopped down from his arms, heading through to the other room of the immense library, collapsing to lie down on the couch and arranging the quilt over her.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco chuckled as she wandered off with the quilt to snuggle up on the ridiculously comfy couch, the one he really wanted to steal for himself. Walking over to one of the shelves he hunted through Leo's collection of potions books and pulled out one that he hadn't read before and walked back through the stacks, grabbing another book as he walked through. He reached the couch and sat down on the end of it next to her head, "Well you look comfy."
Re: Parkinson Home
"Mmhm." Pansy didn't bother opening her eyes, just nodding her head a bit as she scooted along the couch toward him. Finally she managed to rest her head on his thigh, and pulling the quilt tighter around her, she snuggled up to go back to sleep. The library was such a comfortable place, warm enough, quiet, cozy. And on this ridiculously comfy couch, especially with Draco here as well, she could sleep happily forever in here.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco turned a little as she settled her head on his lap and ran his fingers through her hair as she snuggled down and went back to sleep. He opened the book onto the arm of the sofa and started to read, a little upset that he didn't have anything to write with but knowing that Leo would kill him if he wrote in these books anyway. As one hand flipped the pages the other gently stroked her hair.
Re: Parkinson Home
It didn't take Pansy long to fall asleep again as his hand traced through her hair, the quiet warmth of the room and comfort that being with Draco provided. They'd had a few awkward days where he ignored her for work, wouldn't really answer her, but things were better. At least for now. So she slept a while longer, yep. Sleeping Pansy, not much to post.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco continued to read. He worked his way through the book quickly, only reading the things that he didn't know yet and then moved onto the second one. About a chapter in he got bored though. Putting it to one side he looked down to see Pansy still sleeping in his lap. He knew she loved to sleep but she could sleep later, his fingers moved from her hair to her cheek and he leaned down a little, "Pansy, Kitten, time to wake up again."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy's fingers tightened a little around the quilt when his hand moved over her cheek and spoke to her. "No, it's time to sleep again..." She smiled despite her protests, turning over on her back to look up at him. Short post is short.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco smiled down at her and stared for a second before sliding his hands under her arms, pulling her up onto his lap, still wrapped in the quilt. "There's only so much you can sleep. I know you're part cat but that doesn't mean you get to sleep like one." He tugged on the quilt a little to slide it around his own shoulders.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy's smile widened as he pulled her up into his lap, and she sat up to rest her head on his shoulder. "But if you get to call me kitty all the time, I should at least be allowed to sleep like one." She wrapped an arm around his middle and snuggled into him, closing her eyes again. Just because she can and she knows that she'll get away with it, at least for a little bit longer.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco shook his head a little as she closed her eyes again and snuggled into his shoulder. "No Kitten, you don't get to sleep all the time, and you've been asleep again for almost an hour. It's time to wake up now or I might just leave and go work on potions and see Slughorn. I'm sure he misses me and he'll be awake."
Re: Parkinson Home
"Yes, but you are at my house and you can't leave unless I say so." With that, she wrapped her arms around him more tightly, with no intentions of letting go of him, just in case he did leave to go do potions things. She opened her eyes though, lifting her head to at least look at him. She brushed her nose lightly past his, giving him butterfly kisses on his cheek with her eyelashes.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco chuckled as she fluttered her lashes against his cheek, and squeezed his waist. "Well then I guess you'll have to stay awake to keep me here." He put a finger under her chin so he could reach her lips to give her a proper kiss, pulling away after a second he to rest his forehead against hers.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smiled at him again as he touched his finger to her chin. "Well I guess..." but she was cut off as he kissed her. Once he pulled away, she continued her sentence as though nothing had happened, as she often did when it came to kissing him. "... I will do just that." She blinked several times, attempting to properly wake herself up for the first time today.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco was always amused when she would just pick up wherever she left off when he kissed her. Sometimes it worked to distract her and shut her up but mostly it just put off whatever she was going to say but he didn't mind, it was why he loved her. Draco kissed her again before shifting her in his lap a little, "So is there anything you want to do today, aside from sleep?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy was a somewhat simple girl when it came to some things, and as far as thought processes went, that ones one of those things. If she had something to say and was distracted from it, as long as it wasn't a major distraction, she would finish what she was saying afterwards. "I don't know. Anything you'd like to do. I'd just like to pretend my mother doesn't exist, which is easily enough done if we know all the right places to hide."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy was adorable, "Well it's lucky then that we know where they all are isn't it?" Draco pulled the blanket closer around them, he could feel a little heat escaping and knew that Pansy would be complaining if she noticed. Their little cocoon was nice and toasty. He turned his face a little to give her another kiss while he shifted so he could sit more comfortably.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy moved along with him as he readjusted, closing her eyes and kissing him back. She pulled away for a second. "It is quite lucky." In a moment though, her lips had returned to his, and she was kissing him again. As she reached her hand up to rest on his neck, she realized she was still rather tightly wrapped in the blanket and her hand couldn't get much higher than his chest. Compromising for now, she rested her hand on his chest.
