Re: Parkinson Home
Draco nodded and drank the last of his whiskey before standing up and picking up the book off his desk. Draco walked to the door and opened it, "Thanks Mr Parkinson. I'll see you tomorrow." As he stepped out he closed the door and headed back to his room to fall onto his bed, the book dropped on his bedside table. Lying there he stuffed his face in his pillow and kicked his shoes off the end of the bed.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy had been sitting in her room reading for a while now, nearly about to fall asleep in her chair when she heard Draco's door down the hall open then shut. Putting her book down, she snuck down the hall and opened his door softly, closing it extra quietly, and tiptoeing across the room to where he had his face buried in his pillow. Starting at his lower back, she walked her fingers up the center of his spine, stopping once she reached his neck and instead running her fingers lightly over his hair.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco shivered slightly when she touched his back but otherwise stayed where he was, he would know her touch anywhere and it wasn't as though there would be anyone else in the house coming into his room unannounced. When she ran her fingers over his hair he turned his face on the pillow to look at her and reached an arm out to wrap around her, really just resting it over her legs because that was all he could reach from his awkward position. "How was Muffy?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smiled down at him, at least until he mentioned Muffy. She sighed and put her hands on the bed, wriggling out of his arm before jumping up and using her arms to propel herself onto the bed over him, landing on his other side. Very catlike, Pansy, well done. "The usual. You need to pick suitors, Pansy. You need to dress nicer, Pansy. You need to eat less, Pansy. You need to grow up, Pansy. You need to get married, Pansy. You need to listen to me, Pansy. Mother knows best, Pansy. Listen to your mother, Pansy. Do what I say, Pansy." She groaned and rolled over, now it was her turn to bury her face in the pillow. Her muffled voice sort of came out, and hopefully he understood her. "How was Daddy?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco turned his head the other way and gave her one of those sympathetic smiles when she started going on about he mother. When she flopped into a pillow he ran his fingers over her hair, rolling onto his side. He wondered how much this would shock her, "Well he knows we're dating."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy turned her head to look at him, her expression quite blank. She blinked a few times. "Figures. He probably guessed it as soon as we got here, knowing him." Sometimes she wondered if her dad was secretly a legilimens. That would certainly explain a lot.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco shrugged and his hand moved from the back of her hair to brush her hair back and run down her cheek, "Well he officially knows now. He also basically told me to watch my hands if I like my balls which was reasonably terrifying." He grinned at her and flopped over onto his back, his hand lying there in between them to hold hers.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smiled at him, but rolled her eyes a bit when he talked about the threats her father had given him. "Yeah, well. I suppose he wouldn't exactly approve of where they were a few days ago, would he?" She sat up on the bed beside him, facing him. She picked up his hands and looked at them, spreading out his fingers and holding them up, jokingly lifting them toward her chest before dropping them and leaning down to peck him on the cheek instead before sitting up, intertwining her fingers with his again, tracing the fingers of her other hand over his knuckles and the back of his hand.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco's eyes widened when she moved his hand and his eyes shot to the door for a second half expecting Leo to come storming in with a sword. When Pansy dropped it down again and pecked him on the cheek he gave her a joking glare. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" When she brushed her fingers over his hand he rolled over towards her again, his fingers reaching out to trap hers, holding them, his fingers brushing the soft skin. Releasing them he tugged her elbow to make her fall over into him and he rolled a little and shuffled, royally messing up the bedding, so they were cuddled together, his face buried in her shoulder so his next words were muffled, "He was telling me about Business too."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smirked at him. "It must be a Parkinson thing to enjoy terrifying you." She flopped over onto the bed when he pulled her elbow, lying beside him once again with her legs all curled up. One would think that the sound of two bodies rolling and shuffling and messing up bedding would be one of the sounds that Leo would listen for like a hawk, and thus one Draco would avoid making, but apparently that is not the case. Pansy rested her head softly against his as he snuggled them close together. He couldn't see her obvious pout from where he was when he mentioned business. She stayed quiet, not really having much to say on the matter.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco wasn't thinking of that but he is thinking that maybe he should get his tie off before he strangles himself. So he reached up between them and slid the knot down and the tie off, undoing his cufflinks and dropping them onto bedside table, "Oh your father said you left that book in his study earlier." Once he had his sleeves fixed and had flicked open a button on his shirt he cuddled back into her side.
Re: Parkinson Home
Yes, taking his tie off would be a good thing. Pansy had already taken the liberty of getting out of her dress and into comfy pajamas, so no worries for her. She watched as he took off his tie, though her eyes flicked to the book when he mentioned she'd left it in her father's study. "Oh, yeah. He got it for me, since it's one of the very few that I don't actually own yet." She reached across him to grab it, snuggling up against him once he was finished getting more comfortable in his dress shirt, and she opened the book to a random page, flipped through a few of them, before pausing and skimming over some more interesting looking things. Astronomy, as always. Her first obsession, and the one she always kept coming back to time and time again.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco looked over her shoulder as she flicked through the pages, "So anything new and exciting? Or is the the same-old same-old?" After shifting a little and deciding he really wasn't comfy he pressed a kiss to her neck before getting up, "Be right back." He grabbed a pair of pajama bottoms from the draw before heading into the bathroom to go to the bathroom and to wash his face and brush his teeth. Running his wet fingers through his hair he walked back out into the room and crawled up the bed to lie down next to her again, "Miss me?"
Re: Parkinson Home
"Mostly the same. They all are, anymore." She laughed, somewhat amused by the unfortunate circumstance that she had read essentially every book published on Astronomy that there was in the wizarding world. She nodded as he got up, readjusting a little so she was propped up against the pillow and pulling her knees up to rest the book against them. Her eyes grew a little heavy while reading, but he was back soon crawling in next to her, and she leaned over into his side immediately, resting her cheek on his bare shoulder. "I always miss you."
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco noticed her eyes closing and plucked the books from her hands and put it off to the side, kicking at the blankets until he could pull them back up over them. He tucked her into his side and wrapped his arms around her, he could already feel her relaxing against him, "Go to sleep kitten."
Re: Parkinson Home
When he pulled the book from her hands, she reached after it for a moment, at least until he started to pull the blankets up over them. That sounded too nice to pass up. She breathed out slowly, letting her eyes grow heavier as he pulled her closer and slipped his arms protectively around her. Finally she let her eyes shut, smiling a little as he told her to sleep. "Only for you." And almost immediately, tired kitty did.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco smiled and kissed her on the forehead, whispering to her as her eyes closed, "Sweet dreams Love." He rested back on the pillow, his arms tight around her and quickly followed her to sleep. He slept incredibly well and woke up the next morning to light breaking through the curtains. Blinking slightly he pressed his cheek against her head and closed his eyes again.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy slept through the night without waking up or really dreaming or much of anything. It was actually nice to have such a peaceful night, and she figured it was the stress from dealing with her mother that made her so sleepy. As Draco woke, Pansy was still asleep, and even as he pressed his cheek to her head, she didn't stir.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco fell back asleep for almost another hour before slowly waking up again. This time he shifted a bit, moving one of his arms that was almost falling asleep around her. Relaxing back he rolled over a little, moving her with him, his fingers stroking her cheek. She always looks so peaceful and happy in her sleep.
Re: Parkinson Home
And even as Draco woke up a second time and moved her a bit, Pansy stayed asleep, worn out and lost in her sleep world. She did whimper slightly though as he moved her, but she simply moved her arm to wrap across his chest, and then was silent and still again, back to sleep just as she was a moment ago.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco was not properly awake and chuckled when she whined and wrapped an arm around him. He lay back for a bit but soon got bored with his thoughts, all of them kept returning to things that he didn't really want to consider so he decided to wake up his favourite distraction. Running a finger down her side he laughed again when she squirmed, ticklish even in her sleep.
Re: Parkinson Home
In her sleep, Pansy pouted, squirming away from his finger as it traced down her side. It moved along her side again, and she tried to move further away, but his other arm was still wrapped around her and she couldn't escape any more than she already had. It woke her then, and her expression turned to a simultaneous pout and smile. "Stop it."
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco smiled and leaned in to give her a kiss, "What? No 'Good Morning Draco, thank you for being the world's best boyfriend and letting me sleep forever'? Well now I feel under-appreciated." He gave her a smirking pout and poked her in the side again for good measure.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy wriggled away again as he poked her side, still smile pouting up at him. "Good morning, Draco. Thank you for being the world's worst waker-upper and tickling me until I wake up. I appreciate it." She closed her eyes again, rolling around a little bit and snuggling into him, trying to find a position that might protect her sides from his fingers a bit more.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco laughed and stopped attacking her, letting her cuddle up to him again. When she closed her eyes again he tugged on the tips of her hair, "No more sleeping Pans, it's time to get up now." When she didn't respond he wiggled around a bit until his face was level with hers so he could stare at her, admiring her long eyelashes and smiling at her little freckles.
