Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy looked over her shoulder as he came in, walking the rest of the way into her closet. "Hi you." Disappearing into the somewhat intimidating depths, she started digging through, looking for something to wear that wasn't terribly atrocious or pink. She debated for a while between a white one she'd never worn before, or an old favorite green one. Finally she decided, and making sure Draco wasn't able to see into her closet she dropped the towel to the ground, found some panties and a bra, and the put the dress on. It was simple and comfy and soft, and she found that she really liked it. Picking up a pair of flats, she wandered back out into her room, glancing down to make sure the dress was all in place and whatnot.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco had flopped back onto the bed when she vanished into her closet and when she walked back out he sat up and smiled at her, reaching his hands out for hers, "I like that dress. Very pretty." When she walked over he leaned in and gave her a soft kiss.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy reached for him as well, putting her hand in his. She smiled and thanked him, kissing him lightly once again before dropping the shoes to the floor and crossing over to her mirror where she started working on her hair, drying it, arranging it, curling it. She found it sort of amusing how dark it looked when she wore white, or cream anyway, since her hair and eyes were essentially the only things that were dark on her.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco stayed on the bed to watch her curl her hair and fix it all, transfixed every time. When she was done he waited for her to walk back over to him to get her shoes. When she did he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in close, "No need to rush, we haven't been called yet." He tugged a little so she ended up sitting on his leg.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy finished her hair and walked back over to where her shoes were, only to be stopped by Draco's arms around her middle. She smiled at him and stood where she was, at least until he pulled on her and she ended up sitting on him, resting lightly on his leg. Her hands went to the bottom of her dress, putting it back into place like the proper girl she was raised to be. "Very true." They were a strange contrast, Pansy with her light dress and dark hair, Draco with his dark suit and light hair. And yet somehow it all seemed to work perfectly.
Re: Parkinson Home
It was an interesting contrast and as he wrapped his arm around her waist, and leaned in to give her a kiss he realized this looked a little like a ying and yang thing. Hmm. Whatever. He was going to kiss her now because that sounded like a lovely plan. One of his arms around her waist the other moved up to cup her cheek and pull her closer, keeping the kiss soft, not wanting to get into anything because they were expected to be at dinner and presentable soon.
Re: Parkinson Home
Oh, it is a bit ying yang. Intriguing. Pansy in her pure unicorn white, and Draco in his gonna-be-a-Death-Eater black. It's rather perfect, actually. She kept one hand resting to the side on the bed, the other one gently on his chest as she kissed him back, glad that he was keeping it gentle this time since they couldn't show up to dinner looking all rumpled. She returned his soft kisses for a while, until it finally was time to head down to the dining room. Pansy stood up, slipping on her shoes and holding out her hands for him, entirely not looking forward to facing her mother again.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco took her hands and stood when it was time to leave and he slipped his fingers between hers as they walked down to the dining room. When they reached the door he let go of her hand and pushed it open so she could walk in ahead of him. Heading straight to their normal seats they exchanged greetings with Leo and Muffy, one of which was rambling on about something boring and girly. Oh and by one of them I mean Leo.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy walked through ahead of him, telling both her parents hello before she sat down next to her father. I've no idea where you were maybe going with that whole 'Leo talking about something boring and girly' thing, but I could only assume the only thing 'boring and girly' he cared about would be finding Pansy's match and arranging for that to happen. So if he's talking about that, Pansy's sitting there quite awkwardly. She doesn't like it when her parents start in on this, talking about all the matches and which are better than others and which are at the top of their lists. Pansy's just upset because her list doesn't matter at all. Granted, her list says 'Draco Lucius Malfoy' and that's it, but that's besides the point.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco highly approves of Pansy's list. It matches his rather nicely too. Sadly their parents obviously never looked at their lists or cared about them. Oh well. As her parents were discussing matches the elves served them some soup. As he ate with one hand his other slid under the table to rest on her leg, giving it a comforting squeeze. Judging by the lack of agreement between the two adult they didnt have anything to worry about for a little longer.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy ate somewhat sadly, her good mood gone to shit again. Finally fed up with it, she sat her fork down and looked angrily at her mother. "Mum could we please not talk about this while Draco is here?" She just wanted to do what Draco always told her to do. She just wanted to pretend for the time they had that she could be with him as long as she wanted. She wanted to pretend she could marry him and live with him for always and hell, she even wanted to pretend maybe one day she would have his baby and they could be mommy and daddy. And with her parents going on like they were, all of that was pretty bloody hard to pretend.
Re: Parkinson Home
Muffy looked at her daughter in slight shock but thankfully shut up. Draco squeezed her knee again and then when the rest of the food came he gratefully started to eat, the sounds of chewing were, for once, the only sounds heard aside from the occasional request to pass some food or the salt. Draco noticed that Muffy was looking at Pansy a lot more than she usually did and he saw her gaze flick over to him more times than he was comfortable with.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy avoided eye contact with her mother for the rest of the meal, though she was well aware that Muffy was staring quite pointedly at her, alternating to stare at Draco as well. She took little comfort from his hand squeezing her knee, but it was a nice gesture anyway. Pansy ate what little food was on her plate, taking a sip from her cup to see that her mother was still staring at her. "What?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Muffy looked her daughter right in the eye and stayed silent for a moment considering her. Then she looked from her to Draco and shook her head, "Nothing. I think I'm done for the evening." She stood up and put a hand on Leo's shoulder before flouncing off. Draco couldn't help but wonder what had made her so quiet and he looked to Leo to see what he thought.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy stayed quiet as her mother left, though she was quite a bit worried even after she was gone. Her mother was angry, and sooner or later, Pansy would endure the effects of whatever she had done. Pansy looked at her dad nervously. "What'd I do?" Pansy will just post Leo from here, because she is too tired to log into Leo right now as well.
Leo nodded as his wife strutted out of the room, watching her arse, remembering why he had agreed to marry her in the first place. He blinked when Pansy spoke to him, shrugging a little. "She just feels that Draco is going to mess up all her plans. With him around, you never want to speak with the suitors we pick for you." Before Pansy could speak, he held his hand up. "She's got a point, Flower." He looked at her, his little daughter having no answer for him, his expression a mixture of sadness and disappointment, though one could never be sure who the disappointment was aimed at.

Re: Parkinson Home
Draco looked at Leo for a moment before glancing to Pansy to see what she was going to say but it appeared nothing at that moment. He sat up a little and reached for her hand under the table before looking back at Leo. After a moment's thought he spoke up, "I'm sorry if I made dinner uncomfortable, would you like me to leave?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Leo shook his head at Draco's offer. "No, no. Don't worry about it. Dinner's over now anyway." He stood up, reaching over and holding his daughter's cheek in his massive hand. "Next time she asks, humor your mother, please." Giving her a fond little smile, he paid very little attention to Draco other than a short nod as he left the room, the two of them alone again.
Pansy sighed, crossing her arms on the table and shoving her plate back, flopping her head down onto her crossed arms. She groaned quietly, upset that her good mood was gone, upset that her parents were still insistent on her talking to others, upset that she couldn't just be left in peace with Draco, and her opinion didn't matter to them at all.

Re: Parkinson Home
And Leo left to shag Muffy. Draco scooted his chair away from the table and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, leaning on the table and brushing her hair back. "I'm sorry Kitten. I wish they hadn't done that to you." He couldn't think of a way to cheer her up.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy stayed where she was when he put his arm around her, turning her head to look up at him when he pushed her hair aside. "That's just how they are. I'll get used to it I guess." She sat up and put her hand in his, shoving her chair back from the table and getting up, tugging him toward the door. Right now she just wanted to go find a hidden parlor and sit by the fireplace and fall asleep in his arms.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco let her pull him up and wrapped his arm around her as they walked from the room and he led her up to the library, into one of the little side areas and he lit the fireplace. As they had walked past the sofa he had grabbed a blanket off the back of it and sat down on the floor, pulling her down to join him. He reached back and grabbed a couple of pillows and another blanket from the sofa, planning on making them a nice little nest.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy was silent as he led her upstairs, dropping to the library floor beside him. She almost immediately fell over into him, as if she'd lost the will to sit up on her own. She rested against his chest, moving to sit between his legs and rest her body on his. She closed her eyes, kicking off her shoes with her feet and pushing them out of the way. She wondered if Draco would want to change or take of his jacket or something, but figured if he wanted to, he would just get up and do it. She was too listless to bother changing out of her dress.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco slipped out his wand and transfigured all of their clothing into more comfortable pajamas, a pair of his sweatpants and one of his t-shirts for her and boxers for him. He stuck the pillows behind his head and cuddled her in between his legs, lying down and cuddling her. He pulled the blankets over them and pressed a kiss to her forehead, "Are you feeling any better?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy was glad that Draco had enough foresight to actually use magic to change their clothes, and was glad that she didn't have to do it. She was too distraught, unable to concentrate and it would have ended poorly for them. She shrugged lightly at his question, snuggling down under the blanket a little so that they were more comfortable. She laid with her hips between his thighs rather than resting on him, her head on his chest, and she tugged the blanket up over her, closing her eyes again. "I know we have another day, but can we go back to school tomorrow morning?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco ran his fingers through her softening curls, the other taking the hand that had been pulling on the blankets. "Of course, we can go back whenever you want." With his fingers gently running through her hair he relaxed back into the pillows, "Get some sleep, tomorrow we can escape back to Hogwarts." It was such a different scene to last time they were here, putting off their return for as long as they could.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy closed her eyes when he answered her, not bothering to say anything back. She didn't really need to. She couldn't fall asleep for a while, her mind a tempest of confusion and frustration, but eventually she drifted off, her head growing heavy on his chest, her fingers curled tightly around his, as though she believed she had to hold onto him or he might be gone in the morning.
