[I am tired, and thus I am going to sleep now, talk to you tomorrow, I hope Reed isn't the hyper type ;-)]
Jenna linked arms with her friend/brother and they walked arm and arm out of the pub. Both cheerful both from the butterbeer and from the ever amazing prospect of CANDY!

Re: The Three Broomsticks
"Oh, well that is nice then. Sometimes it is good to have some time apart with siblings because then you don't usually fight quite as much." Mr. Patil noted with a small nod as he stepped inside the three broomsticks. He looked around and then walked over to a table. "This one good?" He asked everyone before sitting down at the table as he got approval from everyone because who would deny a table?
Then everyone else sat down, leaving an empty space between Parvati and Mrs. Patil for Al. I don't know what else to say in this post so it is short.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Al took his seat between Parvati and her mother, still feeling a bit awkward about eating lunch out with his friend's parents. She was his brother's girlfriend, after all, so he really wanted to make a good impression for James as well. He glanced over at Parvati, smiling faintly before he waited for her parents to say something. Wow, this was awkward.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Parvati smiled over at Al as he sat down and leaned over towards him. "I swear they're not always this awkward." She said quietly in his ear before pulling away from him and giving him a small grin. Parvati looked over at the waitress when she came over and ordered a butterbeer for herself. "Do you want a butterbeer too?" She asked Al.
"We'll both take butterbeers too," Mr. Patil told the waitress as he gestured to him and Mrs. patil. "And then can we get an extra glass of water too?" He asked, wanting to get something for Alvin.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Al glanced down at the menu to his smirk at Parvati's comment, then smiled up at the waitress. "Yes, a butterbeer is fine for me as well." He figured that this was probably the part where he tried to make small talk or something. "So, do you guys have any other pets besides Alvin?" Lovely. Great job, Al. That's probably the most exciting question of the year. You're sure to make a memorable impression with that one.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
"No," Mrs. Patil replied. "Alvin is Parvati's, she got him for her sixth birthday and he is the only pet the family has had." She told him with a small smile. "We all love him though, not quite as much as Parvati but we do all love him a lot." She said, looking down at her menu.
Parvati smiled over at Al as he made small talk with her parents. "He loves me the most too," She told him with a small smile.
"Do you have any pets, Al? Just your family in general?" Asked Mr. Patil before he thanked the waitress for their butterbeers when she brought them and asked if they are ready to order. "I am, are all of you guys?" He asked the rest of the table.
Parvati nodded, along with Mrs. Patil. This is rather awkward.

Al smiled up at the waitress. "I'll just have a burger," he ordered politely before answering Parvati's parent's question. "No, no pets for us. I think James always wanted a dog or something, but my parents never allowed it. I'm not a big animal person, myself to be honest."

"I'll just take the umm, the chicken sandwich." Parvati said to the waistress with a small smile as she took a sip of her butterbeer and watched as her parents both ordered fancy pasta dishes and salads.
"Oh, really?" Mr. Patil asked, because most people loved at least some kind of animal. Though he himself wasn't too big of an animal fan until they got Alvin. "Huh." he said with a small shrug. "I was never a big animal fan either when I was younger. Not until we got Alvin," he told him.

"I'm sure I'll get used to them one day. Scorpius-- my boyfriend," he clarified. "Wants to get one, and I'm sure he'll end up being very persistent. He likes...taking care of things. It's weird," he said in the most endearing possible way calling someone weird could be said, because really he sort of liked the way Scorp liked parenting things like Stitch...or plants.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Parvati smiled over at Al as he talked about Scorpius and how he liked taking care of things. That made her happy because she knew that if one day Al was bedridden Scorpius would take care of him. Of course if Scorpius couldn't Parvati would probably end up doing it but if Parvati dies tomorrow then there will be at least someone.
"Oh, well that's nice then. Sometimes it's good to be with someone who likes to take care of things," Mr. Patil explained. "It makes the work load on you a lot less," He said with a light chuckle.
Once that waitress came and dropped off their food Parvati stood up from the table, grabbing her plate in one hand and her butterbeer in the other. "I'm going to eat outside with Alvin," she told them with a bright smile on her face as her parents just told her okay and then she looked to Al so see if he was going to join her.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
"That's true," Al smiled, still feeling a bit awkward with Parvati's family. When the food arrived and Parvati announced that she was leaving, he looked back and forth between her and her parents. "Um, thank you for inviting me to lunch with you, Mr. and Mrs. Patil. Enjoy your meals," he told them with a polite smile before taking his food and drink and joining Parv to go outside to eat with Alvin.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Parvati smiled as Al stood up to come eat with her and walked outside with her plate and her Butterbeer, along with the extra glass of water the waitress brought out. I am not sure how she is holding all these things with only two hands but she somehow is managing to do it. She stepped outside and smiled down at Alvin. "Hey buddy, what's up?" She said brightly as she sat down on the bench that she had tied Alvin too. She set the cup on the ground for him to drink out of as she looked over at Al. "They're not usually so awkward." She told him with a small smile.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Al sat down next to Parvati on the bench, the smallest hint of a smile barely noticeable on his face as he watched her with Alvin. "I tend to make people more awkward when I'm within a five foot radius," he said back jokingly, though his tone fell flat as he glanced down at his burger, his focus fading in and out as he became lost in thought.

Parvati smiled at him. "You don't make me more awkward," She told him as she popped a french fry in her mouth and watched Alvin for a few seconds before she looked back up at Al and noticed he hadn't touched his food and he was just staring at it. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked him, her brows furrowing slightly as she looked over at him. "Did you not want a burger?"

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Al glanced up at Parv as he realized he hadn't been talking. "No, it's not that." He hated the way he was letting this eat at him the way it was. "Don't you think it's weird that...Scorp's never around...right after he took my virginity?" And he hated how stupid and vulnerable that made him sound. He was probably looking at Parvati like a sad, pathetic puppy, and he didn't even have it in him to at least pretend everything was okay around her.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Parvati frowned at his words and set her plate down on the bench next to her and scooted over towards him more and took his hand in hers. "Al, look, I know it's weird," She said sadly. "But that's not why he disappeared, I know it." She really thought Scorp loved Al and he didn't seem like the type that would just fuck Al and then leave forever. "He loves you and he can't live without you and he might be busy at the moment with stuff but everything is going to work out, okay? He didn't just leave because he got to have sex with you," She told him, really hoping that she was right.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Al glanced up at Parv with a sad look in his eyes as she took his hand, and gently set his lunch down on the bench. "But why is he always gone? I trusted him...and now he barely talks to me," he frowned, upset with himself for being over-dramatic. "Why can't he just tell me what's going on instead of making me wait up every night to see if he's going to show up or not?"

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Parvati gave his hand a small squeeze. "Look, I am sure Scorpius has a perfectly good reason for disappearing like this and not being around so much and I promise you that when I see him next I am going to ask him what's up because this isn't fair to you at all," She said, moving her free hand to swat Alvin away from stealing her lunch. "Have you asked him why he hasn't been around?"

Re: The Three Broomsticks
"If you ever see him around." Al sighed and leaned against Parv's side, resting his head on her shoulder as he looked down at Alvin. "To ask him something, he'd need to be in the same room as me and I don't see that happening anytime soon."

Re: The Three Broomsticks
"Well doesn't he stay in the dorm anymore?" She asked him. "Does he come in like late at night or something?" She asked, wondering if Scorpius was staying out late for something. She let out a slightly exasperated sigh as she gently pet Alvin's head. "Boys suck," She said, not really thinking about that statement since Al is in fact, a boy.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
"By the time he gets back to the dorm-- if he gets back to the dorm, I'm already asleep," Al sighed as any hint of a smile vanished from his usually cheerful face. He quirked an eyebrow as Parvati pat Alvin on the head. "Yeah, they sort of do. And to think I thought I was saving myself this kind of stuff by being gay."

Re: The Three Broomsticks
"Well, why don't you like stay up late on night and just wait for him?" She asked. "We could always have like a sleepover and we could like write letters back and forth so you don't fall asleep waiting," She suggested as she continued petting Alvin's head. "Yeah, girls are like super simple compared to boys. Boys though are all like I'm so tough not going to express my emotions or talk to you about them wah!" She said, mimicking a deep boy voice.

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Al smiled at the idea of a 'sleepover' with Parv. "That would be fun. I'd like that." His body relaxed slightly as he leaned against Parv, only to sit up straight to stare at her in disbelief at her next comment. "What? That is so not true. Girls have, like, their own freaking language and there's no possible way of translating it. At least guys are straight forward."

Re: The Three Broomsticks
Parvati smiled, glad that he liked her idea. "Good, it's a date then," She said quietly and then her eyes widened slightly. "We do not! Girls are more straight forward then guys! If a girl is mad at you it is obvious but if a guy is mad at you you can like barely ever tell! Guys never show emotions, like they rarely do. When girls are upset they cry, when they are mad they give you short answers or don't talk. Girls are easier to understand."
