Andi raised her glass in toast. "To being lured into dark pubs!" She gently clanked her glass against Evan's, before finishing off the butterbeer in a long gulp. Her head was thrown back, exposing the pale skin of her throat, before she finished drinking and smiled at Evan. "Head of your family? I am so sorry for your loss. And that must be so stressful. Don't you do anything to relax?" She looked at him worriedly, as if he would fall to pieces in a moment.

Evan stills, his dark eyes fixing on the smooth, pale flesh of Andi's exposed throat as she finishes her drink. Hunger stirs in him. He's the head of a respectable family. She's the daughter of one of the oldest, most respectable families in civilised wizarding society. She's pure, well-bred, and beautiful. She might even be innocent, Evan muses, and the thought of possessing something so perfect and unsullied appeals to him in ways he doesn't stop to consider. The way she had so cheerfully toasted him makes Evan think... will she follow so willingly wherever he leads? When she smiles at him, he smiles back, nodding his head in acknowledgement of her condolences. "I handle it just fine. It's only me and my sister, Penny so it ain't hard to keep things under control. I relax whenever I can, wind down with a drink and some good company," he says, tossing back the remainder of Andi's glass of firewhiskey in one hit, nonchalant because feelings and grief and stress do not enter into Evan's world. He doesn't allow it.

Andi listened to him speak, so easily, as if his world was untouched by grief. "Well, if you ever need a friend to talk to, I would come at the snap of your fingers." Andi smiled, for what felt like the hundredth time, at Evan. "You are so remarkable. Strong and brave, set on fixing the world from the taint of the impure." She lowered her eyes, and whispered, "It is so nice to talk to you. I feel like there are so few people in Hogwarts who understand, really understand, the meaning of breeding and purity and superiority. And you get it. It is so nice. Normally the only people I talk to who understand are my sisters." She sighed. "The fall of great society..."

Evan's eyes watch Andi's face intently as she speaks. It's a nice thing, he thinks, to be respected and admired as he should be. He's heard some of the whispers throughout the world, what people say about Evan and his associates; they're called thugs, criminals, monsters, by those so far beneath them it's a wonder they dare speak of purebloods at all. But, this is the world the muggle lovers have created, where any piece of scum thinks he's fit to call himself a wizard, an equal. It's even nicer, he thinks, to meet a woman who knows her place - who takes pride in herself as a pureblood witch of great standing, but still knows to show due deference to a man. "Andromeda, people like you, like us, are rare. We're stronger together, it's the only way we're ever going to reclaim our rightful place in the world. We should see more of each other," he decides, then lowers his voice in a deep, alluring whisper. "I can give you what you need. I understand you."

Andi changed her smile, going from innocent to flirty. "Evan, you know I couldn't see more of anyone without, at the very least, Bella's approval. Family support in friendships, or more, is the most important thing in the world." She looked up at him through her eyelashes. "Are you asking me out? Because, if you want to see more of me, I really ought to be asked out. Mother and Father would simply slaughter me if I was seeing a man and not in a relationship." She suddenly looked down at her clasped hands resting on the table. "Sorry if that was too forward and assuming."

[Evan Rosier - Inactive]

Evan throws his head back and roars with laughter, the sound reverberating throughout the dank little pub. "I'm pretty sure Bella would approve. But go right ahead, always good to get the official seal of approval," he says. After all, he's tried and tested. He arches an eyebrow at her forthrightness, but he chuckles at her charming ability to get what she wants and still be so proper about it all. He bets she could manipulate free gold out of a goblin if she tried. "Couldn't have a pretty thing like you slaughtered now, could I? 'Specially when we're getting on so well. Alright, then. Would you do me the honour of going out with me, Miss Black," he says, his tone light if not just a little mocking underneath it all.

"I'd stand up and curtsy and say yes, but that would be so much more work. And the floor is a tad uneven. Think how embarrassed I would be if I tripped and fell on my face." She shot Evan a charming smile. "I would be honoured to go out with you, Sir Evan Rosier." She giggled slightly, the bubbles from the butterbeer floating around in her head, and blew him a kiss. "We do get on rather well, and I would not enjoy being slaughtered. Wat good solutions we come up with!"

"That's not gonna work - I couldn't be seen with a girl who can't even stand up," Evan agrees, smirking across at her as she flirts with him. He stands and moves around to pull her chair back and help her to her feet. "I'll walk you back to the common room," he says, because a Black would never be in any house other than Slytherin. Except for Sirius Black, who will get what's coming to him anyway.

"Thank you." Andi secretly hoped Marcus or Millicent would be in the common room, so they could see her walk in with someone who deserved her. Deserved the prestige her name brought. She was so much more than them, and she wanted them to feel it. But, she tucked those emotions carefully away, slid her arm around Evan's and smiled. She wondered if she was smiling too much, but she just felt happy. "Onwards, brave wizard?"

Evan gestures gallantly towards the exit, once more holding the door open for her and allowing her to step out into the night ahead of him. Sorry this post is so short and late and lame, I had to go do stuff.

He let her slide out his arms and pull him along to Hogsmeade. When they got there and she asked him where they should go he said whatever she wanted so she lead him over to the Hog's Head. When they were in there he glanced around and found a small booth near the back of the room. Sliding in he pulled her in after him and ordered a firewhiskey from the bar.

Pansy stepped inside the dark bar and followed him as he headed over to a booth back in the corner, almost invisible from the doorway as it was quite hidden by shadows. She had originally thought to sit in the seat opposite him, so they could spread out or whatever, but as he pulled her into the seat beside him, she happily obliged. After he asked for a firewhiskey, she ordered a butterbeer for herself, turning to Draco as the server left them. "Anything interesting besides potions and essays going on? I swear I only ever see you working anymore, you make me feel like I'm slacking or something."

Draco shook his head, "Not much. I'm really busy now that this project is almost halfway done." He nodded to the waiter when he got his drink and took a drink, okay maybe getting him out of the castle was a good idea, especially with the alcohol. He leaned back and slid an arm around her shoulders. He had absolutely no idea what she had been doing for the last week or so but he wasn't feeling much up to asking.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy nodded, finally picking up on the vibes that he really didn't want to talk. Something in his mood was incredibly grumpy, and it made her a little uncomfortable. She told herself it was just the stress from all the work he had been doing, but she wondered if there was something else too. And like the slightly paranoid girl she could be sometimes, she wondered if it was her. She didn't put out, and though she knew he'd been alright with it so far, what if finally he was getting sick of it? What if he - stop it, Pansy. She pushed those worries away, because it was stupid. If he cared like she knew he did, or at least used to, that wouldn't stop him from being with her. She scooted closer to him as he put his arm around her, resting her head on his shoulder. "At least you're nearly halfway. The way you're working I guess you'll have it done in no time." Her voice was quiet, almost like she was afraid that by talking to him she would annoy him. This trip to Hogsmeade wasn't exactly like she'd expected, but at least he'd gotten a drink and seemed to be relaxing a little bit.

He smiled at her and leaned against her, "Hopefully," He took another drink of his firewhiskey. She sounded quiet to him but he was going to stick to the distancing himself plan. If Voldemort ever found out how close he was to her, emotionally, she would be a star in the next punishment session and there would be nothing he could do about it. Now that he had been to meetings his nightmares had turned focus to situations hurting Pansy, her being captured by Death Eaters, captured by the Order for being tied to him. No matter what route the dream took it was always his fault.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy glanced up at him when he sat his glass down. She knew that expression. Something was bothering him, and it was more than just school. His nightmares had been getting to him again, she supposed. She wouldn't know, not having spent the night with him for nearly a week now thanks to his crazy studying schedule and the fact that instead of falling asleep in the library or potions room with him working, she'd wandered back to bed, always waking up by herself just like she had been when she had gone to sleep. It was strange, especially after how often they'd been spending the night together recently, but she didn't bother him about it. Max kept her warm in his absence, seemed to know that she needed extra cuddling and snuggling from him to cheer her up. That dog was pretty brilliant and about as perfect as a dog could be expected to be. Pansy sighed, knowing she couldn't do much of anything to fix him if it was his dreams getting to him again. She wrapped an arm across his stomach scooting right up next to him in the booth and burying her face in the side of his neck, just trying to physically be there even if she couldn't reach out to him emotionally right now. Words wouldn't matter to him, so all she could do was hold him.

Draco let Pansy cuddle in closer and stared at the grubby bar as the bartender scrubbed at the filthy glasses. His arm around her trailed up and down her arm over her coat. Max really was the perfect present for Pansy while stupid Draco tries to pull away from her, not that she's making it easy for him at all. After he finished his drink he turned slightly to her and slid a finger under her chin to bring her up for a kiss. He really had missed her, as much as he had been trying to push her away he had been missing her, missing her kisses and just hugging her. Being around her was normally enough to chase away the nightmares but now it seemed that it both healed and hurt. Every time he was around her he could push them away for a while but they only got worse when they returned.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy had closed her eyes, letting herself at least try to enjoy being with him, even if it was in a much sadder way than she had thought it would be. She opened her eyes when she felt him finger under her chin, looking up at him for a second before she closed her eyes again, meeting him in a kiss. Her hand that had been resting around his side moved up to his jaw before slipping around the back of his head, her fingertips tracing lightly over his hair. She slipped one leg up over his knee, turning slightly to face him better. Slightly sadder kissing than she'd planned on, but perhaps more productive in hopefully making him feel better. At least she hoped so.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco felt her move her leg over him and smiled slightly into the kiss, glad that she wasn't pulling away and trying to talk about this anymore. She really did know him best of all and at least now she had figured out that talking to him wasn't going to get anywhere right now. He slid an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him, one hand sliding into her hair to pull her deeper into the kiss. Even if he didn't get to spend as much time with her he could at least make the time they spent together worth it.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

As much as Pansy wanted to talk to him, she knew he wouldn't want to. She would get his short grumpy answers and noncommittal shrugs, which were essentially worthless and more frustrating than anything. It'd only get her grumpy as well and she knew it'd escalate into a fight, and that was the last thing she wanted. And it wasn't like kissing him was even remotely unenjoyable. She rather liked it, especially given his new jacket and hair. She wasn't quite sure why she liked it so much, probably just because it was so different from his usual, more ungroomed and almost with a roguish quality. Whatever it was, she liked it. Her hand moved along his jaw, the prickling stubble tickling her fingertips and her chin a little since their mouths were pressed together. Pansy has a sort of love/hate thing with stubble kisses, because while the texture is cool at first, if you do it too long, it's like sandpaper after a while. Which isn't so fun afterwards. But for now, she doesn't mind, and continues to kiss him in hopes that at least for a little while she can make it all go away for him.

[Draco Malfoy]

Stubble kisses are tricky because they can be very annoying but Draco's sexiness compensates for now. The jacket and the hair are very nice and appealing. He wrapped his arm around her waist properly and dragged her onto his lap so she was straddling him and trapped by the table. He deepened their kisses, his hand sliding inside her coat to run up her back. After while he gently pulled away, "I really need to get back to that work Pans."
