"Well the first thing is what we call mobile phones. They can be used almost anywhere to call someone else who has one. A bit like floo-ing only you don't have to be at a fireplace or know where the other person is."

She smiled, "sort of, it's like talking face to face only you're not face to face. With the owling that's more like texting where you type, write, short messages on your phone and they're sent almost instantaneously to the other person."

Neville nodded and smiled. "That sounds so cool. So you can talk to like anyone you want whenever you want." He said nodding. "That's cool. We should have those in the Wizarding world."

Neville nodded. "Yeah....That would be nice. It's always a little stressful sending an important owl off, you know? And then waiting for a reply. It seems like forever..." He said, thinking of the time he asked Audrey on a date via owl. He felt like it took forever for her to reply. Probably because he was so nervous. "It would be nice to talk to someone. Instantly. That second."

"It really is. And it's nice to hear people's voices even when they're a long way away." Audrey debated telling him about computers but then they would be here all week once she started in on the internet.

"Yeah." Neville said nodding. "That sounds like it would be nice. It seems like it would make being away from someone for a long time a lot easier." he said nodding and took a sip of his butterbeer, finishing it off. Neville would probably have a million questions about the internet if she brought it up.

Nevile nodded. "Yeah, it must have been hard being used to being able to use...cell phones.." He said, saying it a little weirdly because he wasn't used to talking about....cell phones....."And then not being able to use them at all." He said nodding.

Neville pointed a finger at her. "True Facts." he said and then perked up. "Oh, Umm, Audrey, Umm, Ihabetingyou." He said and no. You are not supposed to know what that means because it is mumbling gibberish. He was trying to say something though.

Neville cleared his throat. He had a feeling she was just messing with him and wanted to make him say it again. >.> "I, Um, I said." He is now bright red. "I just, I have a gift I wanted to give to you, For Christmas, since I won't see you on Christmas and I don't know if I will see you at all before I leave for Holiday." He said, still bright red.

Neville smiled at her and reached onto the ground and grabbed this little box and handed it to her. IT WAS A LITTLE BOX LIKE THIS AND IN THE BOX IS THIS "Here." he said with a smile.

Audrey unwrapped the box and opened it, "Oh my goodness, Neville it's gorgeous." She smiled at him, "Thank you so much." She leaned over the table and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

*facepalms* I just realized where that necklace looks so familiar from. Ihaveit. Well, one EXTREMELY similar to it.

Neville was of course still a bit red, but at least the redness was starting to calm down until she kissed him on the cheek and then it just shot back up to bright red again. "You're--You're welcome." he said, smiling at her. "I thought it would look good with your hair and your eyes, since it's shiny." That made no sense.

Neville blushed even more and took the necklace gently from her hand. "Um. Yeah. Of course." He said as he stood up and stepped behind her to put it on and unhooked the clasp. "Um. Right." he said, not sure as to how he should do this. So he just kind of awkwardly tried to put it on her, her hair getting in the way though.
