"Oh. Right. Pirate competition," he said, mildly amused that he had forgotten about something so badass. "Whoa, that's great! See, I knew we were meant to be friends, some day we'll be walking the red carpet together, gorgeous! BUT NIKKI NIKKI NIKKI I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO TELL YOU FOR LIKE THREE WHOLE DAYS NOW, NIKKI! Guess what guess what guess what!" he exclaimed, practically bouncing as he sat down next to her, greaming like Molly. "I did it, Nikki. And he said yes. I win!"

"WAIT... YOU AND FABIAN ARE DATING?" Nikki threw her arms around Rad, tackling him to the ground. "Omigod, I am so proud of you. I didn't have to re-educate you too hard or anything! That is so amazing! Congratulations!" She lifted herself off Rad, threw her arms in the air, and did a sitting happy dance.

Caradoc laughed, and joined Nikki in her sitting happy dance, 'cause he just so damn happy, he doesn't care how ridiculous this looks. "Yup-- I wouldn't have done it, though, without your input, probably. But yes, we're together now, and the world is the happiest place! I can officially say that the most beautiful, wonderful, amazing man in the whole world is my boyfriend. And it's awesome. And his hair is fabulous. Don't judge me, I have a slight obsession with it."

And don't worry, I can tell you everything, there aren't any dirty details, he's easily the most innocent guy in the school over the age of fourteen, and it's so absolutely endearing I can't even-- okay, when I start getting like this, SLAP ME, AND HARD," he ordered, flicking himself in the forehead. "I can't even tolerate myself these days. But I wrote him a song, and I asked him to meet me up on that rooftop garden that you can see from the Astronomy Tower-- I noticed it the other day, and checked it out, it's really nice-- and he met me there the other night, under the stars, and he was so confused, and I just wanted to hug him for being so damn cute, and I had to tell him to shut up, because he kept babbling, but I serenaded him and then I think I sent him into a state of shock but then I confessed that I have those awful terrible feelings for him, and it was just-- it was wonderful, Nikki. He said he wanted me to be his boyfriend, it would make him happy-- and so we hugged a lot, and we kissed-- Nikki, I couldn't even believe it, it was his first kiss. How beautiful is that? He's so-- kill me. Stop me. This is madness."

"You are so cute!" Nikki giggled, totally awed by the change in Rad. "You are so different when you are really happy!" She smiled up at Rad, all squishy and melty inside because of how damn cute the story was. "That sounds so romantic and cute... didn't know you had it in you." She winked, before continuing. "I am really glad you did that. I think it was really good for you."

I'm trying really hard here, for him-- he appears to have liked the whole horribly disgustingly cheesily romantic thing, so I'll just have to keep up with it, somehow," he said, his grin revealing how much he'd actually enjoyed doing all that for Fabian. "I didn't know I had it in me either. Thanks, Nikki-- I wouldn't, and couldn't have done this, without you kicking my ass along the way," he admitted, hugging his friend close. "You're the best."

He's adorable, and cute, and innocent, and it's the most adorable thing ever when he smiles, and when he blushes, and when he gets all shy and awkward, and when he looks up at me with those eyes-- why haven't you slapped me yet? Nikki, you're slacking."

"You catch yourself before you make the conversation non-Nikki friendly. Besides, slapping you would be so much effort, and I don't want to discourage you from being utterly entranced by your boyfriend." Her voice went up on octave on the word boyfriend. "HE IS YOUR BOYFRIEND! YAY FOR YOU!"

"Oh, hush you," he said, grinning even as he berated her. "He is! And it's mindblowing, still. Nikki, I've met the most perfect man in the entire universe, and he's mine. He's mine, and I'm his, and it's wonderful. I feel like-- you know what kissing him felt like? It was like even I'd never been kissed before, because it was just so-- so innocent. So pure, you know? It makes me think of that Madonna song, 'Like a Virgin.' I didn't get that song before, but I totally do now. Oh Jesus, my life can now be summed up by a Madonna song. I should just go lock myself in my dormitory."

"Hey, it's true! Oh my Merlin, what do you think he'd do if I sang it to him? You and I need to get the band together for practice, because I am so performing that, and dedicating it to him. He'll probably turn fifty shades of pink, all of which he will expect me to be able to name, but it'll be worth it. Did I tell you I'm learning all the shades of pink for him? It started with him flipping out that I didn't know what flamingo and salmon were, but I plan to surprise him next time we hang out with my knowledge of fuschia and bubble gum and magenta," he said quite seriously.

"Aren't all people, like, born with an internal knowledge of all varying shades of colours? Like the difference between teal and turquoise?"

EOWYN GETS TO SEE HER SASSY GAY FRIEND TOMORROW AND IS SUPER EXCITED BECAUSE HE PROMISED TO WEAR A SCARF. *spaz* Last time he did, I had to steal it from him, and go all Sassy-Gay-Friend on his sorry ass because he went on a date with a guy named Gilbert. Just, what even-- just no, Frank, just no. So right in the middle of Princeton at 11pm, I yelled "WHAT, WHAT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING FRANK. LOOK AT YOUR LIFE CHOICES. OH, DON'T MIND US, ONLOOKERS, HE'S A STUPID BITCH." And it was epic.

"... No, honestly, but I'll learn, I suppose," he laughed, smiling at Nikki. "You're going to help me learn all these colors, right? Because I so cannot do this by myself, and I just know it'd make him so happy."

YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT SCENE FROM WHEN HARRY MET SALLY ABOUT SLEEPING WITH A GUY NAMED SHERMAN. THAT WAS A GREAT SCENE.
And give Sassy Gay Friend a hug from me, because I feel like giving a stranger a hug.

NIKKI... BUT... I'M SERIOUS... I ALREADY DID THAT, WHEN HE DATED A GUY NAMED SHELDON... I'M DEAD SERIOUS. Also, I shall, as we are like, literally always hugging. We are attached at the hip and it's awesome.

"That's great, Nikki," he laughed, hugging her. "But it's late, and I should get some homework done before I flunk Hogwarts," he joked, smiling as he stood up. "We'll hang out later this week, and you can teach me a few more colors, while I babble about all the reasons I adore Fabian, alright? Cool. I'll see you around, beautiful!" he called out, blowing her a kiss as he left for the common room.
