Luna is here with a light jacket because apparently in some parts of the world, it's cold in November. Crazy shit. Anyway, she's here and reading her Quibbler, with her cork necklace and radish earrings.

[Neville Longbottom]

Neville walked down to the lake, also in a jacket. His grandma sent him a nice winter jacket. How sweet. He see's a young girl sitting over by herself reading what looked like a magazine. He walked over to her and smiled. "Hi, My name is Neville Longbottom, 7th year student here at Hogwarts, Proud Herbology Student, and a Gryffindor." He said, waving down at her. "Do you mind if I sit?"

[Ginny Weasley]

James...or Jem...um...walked down to the lake deciding it was a great day to just go and freeze his bollocks off since apparently it is freezing outside. He spotted Neville talking to some pretty blonde girl and couldn't help but go over. "Hi Neville," he greeted. He turned to the blonde, unsure of who she was but deciding to put on his suave voice. "Bonjour, ma chérie."

[Neville Longbottom]

Neville punched James in the face. "WE ARE HAVING A CONVERSATION HERE!" He screamed. Neville smiled over at James and waved. "Hi James!"

[Angela Braddock]

Angela wandered down to the lake, still feeling torn up about Dean, but determined to try to feel better. She spots a few people and walks over, trying to be social. She recognizes the girl to be Luna, the girl Dean went to the party with. awkward. anyway, then there's Nev of course and a boy who's in her class that she's never really met. She walks over and sits down "hi guys. what's up?"

Luna blinked as Neville told her about his life story. Not really, but that was quite the introduction nonetheless. "Oh. Nice to meet you, Neville. I'm Luna...A 5th year Ravenclaw," he says, hoping this will be enough information for him. She smiles up at the French guy talking to her, wondering where all these guys are coming from. Seriously now. "Oh. Nice to meet you too," she said, flushing slightly at his French. She had no idea how to speak French. Only made up languages that no one else thinks exist.

[Neville Longbottom]

Neville smiles at her and sits down next to her. "Want to be my best friend?" "So, what are you reading there? A magazine perhaps?" He said, looking up at her with wide, excited looking eyes. He glanced over at Ange and smiled at her. "Oh hey Ange." He said and then looked back at Luna with that same look.

Luna smiles at the other girl who's joined them, waving politely and introducing herself as Luna Lovegood before turning to Neville. "It's the Quibbler," she explains, as if everyone would know what the Quibbler is.

[Neville Longbottom]

"OH!" He said and leaned a little closer. "What...Kind of stuff is in it?" He asked curiously, because Luna seemed like a really cool girl, which means she probably reads really cool magazines.

[Ginny Weasley]

James/Jem is like, uber-proud of his French skills. He knew that convincing his cousins to teach him some stuff was the best idea ever. He picked up on the names of Ange and Luna and decided he ought to throw his name out there as well "You can call me Jem," he said to the people he didn't know. He sat down on the ground, his butt now freezing because APPARENTLY IT'S REALLY COLD OUT. Therefore the ground must be cold as well, yeah? "Oh...my mum likes to read the Quibbler," he added to the conversation, hoping to score some brownie points. "We always have them around the house."

[Angela Braddock]

Ange smiled and nodded as the boy, Jem, introduced himself. Luna and Neville seemed to be in an intense conversation, so she decided to stare at the lake and think. not necessarily good for her right now...

"Oh, the usual things. Facts about Snorkacks, Nargles, and wrackspurts," she explains before turning to Jem with wide eyes, shocked that someone else actually knows what the Quibbler is. "You...You know about the Quibbler? That's interesting. Not many people here seem to know what it is. If they do, it's only to say how it's rubbish," she says with a shrug because by now she's gotten used to what people say about her father's work. She knows it's not rubbish though, so she doesn't really care what people think.

[Neville Longbottom]

"Oh..." he says nodding. He knows exactly what she is talking about OHH YEAH. Notreallthough. "That sounds really interesting and cool. I'll have to read it sometime in the near, very near, future."

[Ginny Weasley]

"Yeah," Jem replied with a noncommittal shrug. "We get the new issues each month." He wasn't quite sure if his mum actually read it, but it was more of a support thing. I mean, logically...why wouldn't Harry and Ginny get the Quibbler? Their daughter's middle name is [i]Luna[i]. "I don't think it's rubbish at all. If anything I think it's rather informative and well written," he said, though James truthfully had no idea what he was going on about. He just wanted those damn brownie points.

Ange was listening to their conversation and had never heard of the Quibbler before. "What's the Quibbler? It sounds interesting" she piped up

Luna will make James brownies one day. She promises. Her face lights up at the prospect of making a friend or two or three, though right now she's mainly focused on James and his kind words about the Quibbler. "Well, that's nice of you to say. I'll be sure to tell my dad. He likes when people say things like that about his work," she says with a small smile before turning back to Ang. "It's the magazine that my dad's the editor of. You should read it," she suggest as she passes her copy of the Quibbler over to Ang.

She smiled and took the magazine, studying the cover. it looked a bit odd, but it still looked interesting "Do you mind if I borrow this? I just remembered something I have to do back up at castle. Study session" she rolled her eyes

[Ravenclaw Mod]

"Sure. You can keep it. I have plenty of other copies," she said with a small smile. "It was nice meeting you though. Have fun studying." Luna is a Ravenclaw. Studying is fun for her...

[Neville Longbottom]

Neville blinks at Ange because studying is the best and the library is his third favorite place to be, right after his garden and the greenhouses. "Well Bye! I'll miss you!" He said like they were best friends, and he waved at her too.

He spotted another guy out by the lake, though he wasn't sure what the proper protocol was for going up to meet another guy. Well, since no girls were here and he wasn't going to cramp the guys style, he went over to say hello. Um. Saying hello is awkward. "Bonjour dude." Yep. I'm so awesome.

"Aloha yourself, dude. 'Sup? I'm Sirius," he said, giving him the 'sup headnod while scopin' around for chics.

So much sexy in one place...the girls ought to be running on over. Maybe they were just dead from the sexy. That would explain it. James Sirius gave a 'sup nod back, because that's how sexy guys did it. "I'm James," he replied, because James is really common name so it wouldn't be that weird. Right? Right. "Where is everyone?" he asked, though by everyone he obviously meant the sexy ladies.

"I think they're hiding, they tend to find my presence to be rather intimidating, you see, can't bear to be in the presence of one so sexy, obviously. Did you say your name is James? Weird, my best friend's name is James, but it's a common name, I suppose," he said, shrugging. "So, how's it goin', James? It appears we've got to keep each other company until the ladies overcome their fears and start flocking."

It was rather refreshing meeting someone who was able to speak truthfully about himself. See, it was arrogance when you were stating the obvious. "It is a really common name," James replied with a small shrug. "Going rather well. How 'bout yourself?" he asked with a small grin, happy that he was moving on from stupid Mandy. Not that he needed the bird, there were plenty more. "I'm sure that they'll all be coming soon. Only a matter of time before the recognize the irresistible and raw sexiness that is just radiating from down here."
