Molly is taking a walk into Hogsmeade because she feels like it and she's not about to wait for the next Hogsmeade weekend. She notices two girls settled by a firepit holding hands and even though part of her thinks it's not nice to interrupt a private moment, she didn't bring gloves or a hat because those are, like, so unfashionable, and she wants to warm up before her fingers freeze and snap off. She joins them. "Hi," she chirps in her usual friendly way. "Don't mind me, just passing through and warming up. I can, like, look the other way if I'm interrupting a private moment or votever."

Rita rolled her eyes. Kendra was weird, alright. "I'm not," she explained, casting the Gryffindor scarf off and back toward Kendra. "I'm a Ravenclaw. After all, 'wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure'."

"S'ok," Molly shrugs. "It's a cold day. Hey, why haven't I seen you around? What year are you in?" she asks, having been fairly certain she knew all the Gryffs from fifth year onwards, at least by sight. And, well, to say the least, it's odd that a fellow Gryff wouldn't recognise one of the Prewett siblings, surely. She glances at Rita. "Oh, neat. There are some, like, really hot guys in Claw."

"Huh, wish I could go on holidays for, like, a year. My sister's in fifth," Molly comments, warming her hands by the fire. She makes small talk and continues to chat with the two girls until she can feel all ten fingers, then she smiles and waves and makes her farewell, heading on to the stores.

Kendra smiled after the girl. "She was really nice," she muses aloud. Then, remembering Rita- "Not like you aren't: it's just that we'd be in the same house. I think I'm going to go after her." She stands, and then looks back at Rita pityingly. "Here- take my scarf. You need it more than I do." She hands it back, not really sure what to say. "I guess I'll see you around. Send me an owl sometime."

Rita wrapped the scarf around her neck, watching the other girls walk away. She was sick of people walking away from her. Her mother had: she'd just shirked all responsibility toward her family and married some muggle, claiming she wanted to live a 'normal' life. "No such thing as normal," Rita muttered aloud angrily. Her mother was dead to her, so in a lot of ways, the story she'd been spreading was true. The thing was that her mother hadn't actually died, she'd just chosen not to stay with Rita.

Audrey walked into the park with her arm around Neville and they headed over to sit on a bench. Sitting down she looked out over the bare park, "You know this place could use some major redecorating."

Neville sat down next to Audrey, sitting closer than he normally would because he needed space to set the bag down next to him and nodded. "Yeah. It could use some flowers. Maybe a swing or something." he said nodding.

Audrey nodded and settled up against him, "Yeah. I wonder if there's someone that could be talked to about that. Someone who organizes things like this. It would be nicer and everyone would actually use the park more if it looked nicer."

"Yeah." He said with a small nod. "I am sure you could talk to one of the workers in a shop around here and they would know who to go to." he said with a small smile.

She nodded thoughtfully, "Yeah. I'll do that on the way back or something." She looked around once more before she leaned against him his arm around her and closed her eyes, relaxing into his warmth.

Neville smiled as she leaned into him and rested his head on her shoulder. Audrey sure had changed him a lot over the short amount of time they had been dating. Before he ever went on a date with Audrey he was scared to touch a girl that wasn't either related to him or Hannah, but not he was perfectly comfortable with snuggling up to Audrey.

Audrey is glad she's changed him, she likes cuddling with her boyfriend. Especially when it's just them. Leaning there she blinked slightly, "Hey Nev, is it snowing?"
