Re: A Nearby Park
"True, I did not do that in a dress." She laughed, smiling at his hand over hers. Moving out of the way, she let him gather up the stuff, all of it shoved into the basket finally, though soaked. He had turned to face Hogsmeade, and she started to follow him back toward the little town, when she stopped and grabbed his hand, pulling on him a little. "Draco?" Pansy waited until he turned to face her. She looked up at him for a second, his hair soaked but still as brilliantly white-blonde as always, his expression as if he was hanging on to every word she would say, his grey eyes bright and intense as ever. His wet shirt clung to his shoulders and chest and water dripped from his cheeks. Finally, she decided on going with what she'd thought to do on a whim. She reached up for his face and pulled him toward her as she leaned up on her tiptooes, kissing him softly. She held the kiss for a moment, the familiar old feeling of their lips together, though this time was infinitely wetter than it had really ever been before. She took a step forward toward him, closing the gap between them as she very slowly pulled away, blinking up at him.
Re: A Nearby Park
Draco stopped when she said his name, turning to look at her. He watched her carefully, wondering what she had stopped him for and what she wanted to tell him. He smiled when her hands settled on his face then his expression turned to slight shock as she pulled him closer and kissed him. Before he could kiss her back she pulled away and stepped closer. He hadn't realized he had let the basket fall and his hands were resting on her hips. He smiled as she blinked down at him, droplets of water collecting on her long eyelashes. He reached up with one hand to brush some of the water away, "Thank you Pansy, thank you for giving me another chance."
Re: A Nearby Park
Pansy smiled at him as he brushed the raindrops from her face, closing her eyes as his thumb moved over her eyelashes. "I could never let myself truly lose you, Draco. 'Cause then I'd lose part of me." She wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her face against his chest. His hands on her hips felt safe, big and comforting and holding her close to him. He'd really been the only one to ever fully understand her, the only one who knew her better than she knew herself. And even when they fought, Pansy knew she'd never let go of her feelings for him. She would always care about Draco, no matter what happened.
Re: A Nearby Park
Draco wrapped his arms around her waist as she rested her head against his chest. She felt so small in his arms but he knew that even though it seemed like he could break her in half she was strong, far stronger than he often gave her credit for being. He leaned his chin down against her head and pressed his lips against her wet hair, his voice muffled. "I wouldn't be the same person I am now without you," she made him a better person and the times he had been without her had felt almost impossible at times. Even though it was raining and they really should go back to the castle and warm up he didn't want to move, to ruin this moment.
Re: A Nearby Park
Pansy stayed there a while wrapped in his arms, not wanting to move though it was freezing now, the both of them soaked to the skin. Eventually though she had to lean back to look up at him, a slight pout on her face. "We can't stay out here, you know. We'll both end up sick, and you know what a terrible patient I am." She smiled a little, because Pansy hated being sick and having people take care of her, and Draco was no exception to her no-babying rule. "Back to the common room for a fireplace and warm dry clothes?"
Re: A Nearby Park
Draco pouted at her but he nodded and let go of her with one arm to pick up the basket again. He kept his other arm around her as they walked back up to the castle in the cold rain. Inside the common room he smiled and headed up to his room to shower and warm up again before going to meet her in their lounge where Pansy can post.
Re: A Nearby Park
Lavender and Seamus walk into the park on this glorious sunny day. She had chatted about nothing in particular the whole walk here. "I don't think I've actually ever been here before. We usually go to the shops and stuff. This is really nice." She smiled at Seamus. "Hey! I never noticed, but you kind of have highlights in the sunlight."
Re: A Nearby Park
"Really?" He instinctively reached up and ran a hand through his sandy hair. "What color is it?" he asked, turning around to catch a glimpse of his hair. "I never knew that... Don't really go out much so that may be why no one's noticed. Not to sound like a lonely loser or anything," he grinned stupidly. She, of course, looked absolutely stunning in the sunlight, as always. The sun lit up her perfect hair and flawless face, making the corner of his mouth twitch up even more.

Re: A Nearby Park
Lavender smiled and ruffled his hair playfully. "It's just kind of a lighter shade of your regular brownish color. It looks good." She smiled then cleared her throat when she realized she was starting to flirt. "So, uh, what shall we do here?" She looked around at the park and all it offered.
Re: A Nearby Park
His heart picked up the pace when she touched his hair, then continued on after she removed her hand. After she asked what to do, he immediately collapsed into the nearest bench. "Oh," he jumped back up, not wanting to seem rude. "Want to sit down? Or would you rather go on a walk?" He would've come prepared with something to do, but then figured he wouldn't've since it wasn't really a date. Besides, everything was in her hands.

Re: A Nearby Park
Lavender couldn't help but laugh a little. "There's the Seamus I first met! Sitting is fine." She sat on the bench, straddling the seat so she could face him. "We should have brought something to do. Like a game or something. Not that I don't like talking to you, but most guys get a little bored with that stuff."
Re: A Nearby Park
"Ah," he double-checked his pockets, knowing he wouldn't find anything. "There's really not much else to play." His eyes scanned the surrounding area, half-expecting a random pack of exploding snap to appear out of no where. "Talking works fine anyway. It's nice to listen to you ramble off. I like to retain random facts anyway, makes me feel like I know stuff others don't consider to think about. Unless you've got any ideas?" He wished for a split second that he had his broom. There was so much space out here...

Lavender smiled as she watched Seamus look for something to do. "Talking is fine. I mean, I'd suggest my go to game of truth or dare, but it's kind of hard to play with two people. And it usually ends up turning into mostly truths anyways." She shrugged. "And I'm glad someone appreciates my rambling. I know some people would just wish I would shut of for a minute."

[Just posting this here so it shows up on my Chrome window because IE is being a little bitch. Don't mind me. *whistles*]
Re: A Nearby Park
"I like talking, but I guess I prefer to listen than jabber away, so it works out perfectly." He snatched at her suggestion. "Truth or dare actually sounds interesting. Two people could work out if you tried, and I promise I won't pick truth everytime." He situated himself so that he faced her entirely. "Here, I'll start. Truth or dare?"

Re: A Nearby Park
Lavender instantly put on a game face. "Dare." Then she gave him a look that clearly said 'Bring it on Finnigan'. She quickly looked around the park, trying to come up with what he could possible dare her to do, or what she could in turn make him do.
Re: A Nearby Park
He wasn't going to be lame and dare her to answer a question, though that momentarily seemed the easiest way out. A nearby tree caught his eye and his mind reeled. "No magic allowed at any point in this game. I dare you to climb to the top of that tree and bring back the top branch as a souvenir, no matter how thick or skinny it is." It was the best he could do, but the first branch was a good distance from the ground, so it should be an interesting thing to watch, he figured.

Re: A Nearby Park
Lavender smirked as she eyed the tree in question. "No problem." She pulled out a hair tie off her wrist and pulled her hair into a high ponytail. Then she removed her shoes, heels were just not good for climbing. She stood and smirked. "Watch and be amazed." Then she sprinted towards the tree, knowing she'd need momentum to be able to jump onto the lowest branch. She launched herself into the air, and grabbed hold of the branch, quickly pulling herself up with surprising strength. Thank Merlin for all those cheerleading practices. Honestly, the hardest part of her climb was her hair getting caught on a bunch of branches. She finally reached the top and saw that thankfully the topmost branch wasn't completely massive. It was meduim sized. Lavender grunted as she broke the branch off, then there was the predicament of how to get the stick down. She placed it under her armpit and hoped it would stay there, she didn't want to drop it and lose it somewhere in all the other branches. The journey back down was a little slower than going up, but finally she made it back to the original branch she climbed up on. She jumped off, landing perfectly and walked back to Seamus with a satisfied smirk. "Easy." She slammed the branch on the table and was a little breathless after her journey. "Now, truth or dare?"
Re: A Nearby Park
Seamus gawked as he watched her scramble up the tree like a squirrel and back in only a quarter of the time it would've taken him. "Bloody hell... That was amazing! I wish I was nimble like that, freakin' crawl up walls all the time if I were you." He crossed his arms. "Dare."

Re: A Nearby Park
Lavender giggled. "Well, Parvati is a really good cheerleading captain. I probably wouldn't have been able to do that if it wasn't for that. Okay. Let's see." She looked around the park, then back to Seamus, then back around the park, then back to Seamus again. "I dare you to get up and show me your best dance moves...for three minutes." Sure it had nothing to do with the park, she just loved seeing boys dance.
Re: A Nearby Park
"Oh, dear," he muttered, embarrassed. "Well then, you may want to stand back a few steps. Ehm," he paced over into the open. A list of songs scrolled through his head and he selected one at random. Classic and over-used, he began tapping the beat to "Don't Stop Believing" with his foot, preparing for the chorus. Heck, might as well sing it, too. From an outside point of few, it probably looked like he was flailing, but inside his head he was doing all the steps that he was making up right. "Strangers waiting up and down the boulevard," he swang his arm back and forth then held an imaginary mic to his mouth at "boulevard". "Their shadows searching in the night," he sunck low for this, spreading his arms wide. "Streetlights people living just to find emotion," he reached up to the sky and then grabbed his heart for "emotion". "Hiding somewhere in the night!" he curled in on himself at hiding, then slid across the grass over to Lavender, screaming "night" into the mic and holding it for a while. Suddenly he broke out of it and jumped up and down everywhere, head-banging to the music. "DON'T STOP BELIEVING! HOLD ON TO THAT FEEEEEELINNNNN! STREETLIGHTS PEOPLEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" he sang this at the top of his lungs and attempted to do the harmony at the end of "people" while singing the original note. "DON'T STOP!" and he dropped to the ground for dramatic affect, panting hard. "Now," he gasped, "truth.... or... dare..."

Re: A Nearby Park
[So much love right now.]
Lavender had planned to time him on her watch, but she was stunned with his performance. She couldn't help but smile and clap as he seemed to get really into his song. When it was finished she clapped loudly while cheering. "Nicely done. Exceeds Expectations!" She laughed some more and held her hand out for a high five. "Okay. I'll go with truth this time."

"First E I've gotten in forever," he said, crawling over to the bench and plopping down. "Alright, so what's your biggest, darkest secret? Something you've told no one else? I promise I won't tell anyone what it is." He looked expectantly at her, excited for the answer and feeling clever, even though everyone uses it, at picking a juicy question.

Re: A Nearby Park
Lavender smiled at Seamus, but it soon disappeared. "Um..." She twidled her thumbs a bit nervously because she hadn't even told Parvati this, and that girl knew every detail of Lav's life. "Well. Okay. Jack wasn't the first guy I've...slept with." She blushed scarlet at having to tell this story. "The summer after our fifth year me and my family went on vacation to Florida. One night they went out for a romantic dinner and left me at the hotel. But, like I was really going to stay in my room all night. So I went to the pool and met a really cute boy there. We talked for a while...then I don't even know, but we started snogging and he was really good at it. Then we somehow got this bright idea to go to the beach. Well, things took off again and next thing I knew, we were ready to...do it." She was blushing horribly and wasn't looking at Seamus, he probably didn't want to hear this, but it was the only secret that noone else knew. "I never told anyone because it was absolutely horrible." She wasn't going to elaborate on the reasons why, because that would be just too uncomfortable. "So. Yeah. Um, truth or dare?" She still couldn't look at Seamus.
Re: A Nearby Park
He raised his eyebrows at this, feeling awkward. Well, he asked it. "Uh-" he was about to say something, then cut off, having absolutely no idea as to how to respond. "That was one fast-paced realtionship," was all he said before answering, "Truth." He needed a break before he had to do anything else that required energy.
