... And it landed on Melanie. Perfect. Just who he wanted to kiss. He looked up and met her eyes, shrugging. He leaned toward her and kissed her on the lips. No where near as intense as his kiss with Parv had been, and he was silently glad when it was over. Sitting back, he pushed the bottle towards Melanie, refusing to look anywhere near Dom.

Parvati nodded as he asked again that she wanted to leave. "Yes please," She said quietly as she gave James a quick kiss, wanting him to now be the last person she kissed. "And that sounds amazing, baby," She said as she grabbed his hand and stood up. "Peace out everyone, we're going to go have our own party," She told them before walking off with James.

Dom really wasn't sure what to think of Teddy kissing Melanie. She knew it was just a game, but it still bothered her a little bit. Oh well, nothing she really could honestly do about it.

Melanie almost gagged when she saw Teddy had to kiss her. It had nothing to do with how Teddy looked, it was just that she wasn't interested in guys. She kissed him back, not deepening it much and then gave him a small smile before turning and spinning the bottle, watching as it landed on Cho. She knew the girl was in Ravenclaw with her but she never really got to know her, she was attractive though so she leaned over towards her and pressed her lips to hers, kissing the girl a bit intensely before pulling away and smiling. "You're turn," She said as she returned to her spot.

James was more than okay with the two of them going off. After returning the quick kiss, he stood and waved goodbye to everyone. "See you all later," he grinned, walking off to the castle with Parvati.

Cho Chang August 1st 2011, 12:59 pm

Cho watched as a girl that she had seen around (she thought her name was Melanie)had to kiss Teddy. She didn't seem to be too happy about it, but when Melanie spun the bottle and it landed on her, Cho looked nervously from the bottle to Melanie. Before Cho had a chance to think, Melanie had leant over and kissed her, surprisingly intensely when compared to that last kiss with Teddy. Still, Cho went along with it, not quite matching her intensity but not complaining either. When she pulled away, smiling, it was Cho's turn to spin the bottle. She thought for a few moments, biting her lip. "Sorry. I'm going to have to take a rain check," she said, looking around the circle of people. "See you around." She said, smiling, before she got up and headed back to the castle.

Melanie looked around. "Welp. Everyone left." She said as she looked around and then laid back on the grass and decided to ask. "Are James and Parvati married or something?" She asked curiously, obviously noticing Parvati's ring.

Teddy was still here. "I'm leaving, too." He said, looking at Dom. "I'll see you later?" Then he grabbed Rose's hand and they both left. Two birds with one stone, like yeah.

"Bye Cho!" Dom called out as Cho left for the castle. She was a bit surprised by Melanie's question and bit her lip for a moment. "Uhh...I dunno what that's for. I haven't really talked to Parv recently. I just knew that her and James were dating. Oh, bye Teddy! Yeah, see you later," she smiled. "See you Rose," she added.

Melanie waved as everyone left and then turned to Dom. "Oh, well huh, it looked awfully fancy and was on the left hand ring finger. You haven't talked to her in a while you said?" She asked her curiously. "Like since before our date really? Did you ever talk about me with her?" Tipsy Melanie is about to spill some beans possibly.

"Oh...well...I'm not sure what it is," she frowned, having not noticed the ring. "To be honest, Parvati and I had had a moment where we were...more than just friends really. Then we didn't talk for a while and she started to date James, who is my cousin. When I found out, I wasn't so happy. We haven't really made up or anything, so I haven't told her about you."

Melanie just nodded slowly. "Huh, so you got in a fight and didn't make up. That explains a lot," She said with a small nod because it definitely explained why Parv was so rude to her. "Well we should probably head back to the castle, shouldn't we?" She asked.

Dominique frowned, not really understanding what it could explain. "Oh...right," she said, standing up and then holding out her hand to help Melanie up. "Wait, what does it explain?" she asked, still confused. "The fact that I don't know about the ring?"

Melanie reached out and grabbed Dom's hand and pulled herself up with it. "Oh, it just explains why she confronted me in the library before our date and well, she wasn't very nice." She shrugged and smiled over at her. "It's not a big deal though."

Dom was rather surprised to hear what Melanie said and her jaw dropped a bit. "She what?" she asked, getting a little angry that Parv would be rude to Melanie for no reason. "That's...she...I'm sorry," she said with a sigh. "She really had no right to go and do that," she said, shaking her head and making a mental note to see Parvati real soon.

Melanie just sort of shrugged. "It's fine. Mean people don't really bother me. I just ignore them." She gave Dom a small smile to let her know that she really was okay with it. It wasn't even Dom's fault after all. "She just, I don't know, maybe she didn't want me going on the date with you or something." She shrugged. "It's not a big deal though. It's in the past," She said, holding Dom's hand in hers as she gently swung it back and forth. "Do you want to head back to the castle now?" She asked her because Nev feels bad for putting Dom in another scene.

Dom still felt rather bad that apparently things between Parvati and Melanie were not so good. Still, she figured that she ought to talk to Parvati and get things sorted out. “Alright, I suppose you’re right,” she sighed. “And sure, we might as well. It does look like it’s going to rain soon,” she said, wrinkling her nose slightly as she looked up at the sky and then led Melanie up to the castle.

Reed is here, waiting a bit nervously for Kras to show up. He had a rather large box at his feet that had a bunch of tiny holes in it. He smiled to himself as he thought of all the work he put into this surprise for his boyfriend. He anxiously waited and kept fidgeting with the collar on his jacket.

Kras spots Reed out by the lake and walks on over to join him. He gives the box at his boyfriend's feet a real quick curious look before looking up and getting a nice close up of Reed himself. He whistled slowly, taking in his boyfriend's appearance. "Vell, don't you just look fine." He was in a rather cheerful mood and seeing Reed just made him feel even better. "It's nice out here. Vot are ve up to?" He was curious. Was Reed planning something? After all, why else would he leave Kras a note like the one back at the dorm?

Reed's face broke into a huge grin when he saw Kras coming down towards the lake. His nerves kicked in even more and he had no idea why. He blushed at the compliment and slid his hands over the front of his shirt. "Thanks. But you don't even have to try to look nice." He cleared his throat and blushed even more. "Um. Yes. I wanted to ask you something...." He bit his lip and twirled his hands nervously together.

"Baby, you don't have to try to look nice either, you know." Kras replied softly. "You alvays look nice. No matter vot." He looked somewhat confused as Reed seemed to really be blushing more now. And why was he so nervous to ask him a question? "Vot is it, Reed?" He asked curiously.

Now Reed smiled, getting to the favorite part of his plan. "Well. It's something I wanted to ask, but I have some friends to help me." He grinned again and bent down to open the lid of the box, but so Kras wouldn't be able to see what was inside. "You guys ready? Time for the show." He smiled and removed the lid completely. Out of the box, hundred and hundreds of bumble bees flew out in straight lines. First they flew a loop around Kras then flew off behind Reed where they started forming letters. After a bit the words 'Will you go to prom with me?" floated behind Reed. Reed looked back at the bees and smiled, then turned back to Kras, waiting to see his boyfriend's reaction.

Kras was more confused, but he waited to see what Reed was up to. His eyes widened in disbelief when suddenly the air was filled with tons and tons of bumblebees. When they started forming letters Kras watched, his eyes tearing up a tiny bit once they were finished spelling out Reed's question. "Reed..." he managed to choke out, "Yes!" He practically launched himself at his boyfriend to hug him tightly. "Of course I'll go vith you! Oh my god, this is perfect! I love you I love you I love you!" Really he couldn't even begin to explain how much he loved Reed for this right now. To be honest, Kras had heard about the prom earlier in the week and had definitely considered seeing if Reed would be interested...but he had had no idea that his boyfriend would beat him to the punch before hand, and in such a brilliant way! "And you're going to have to restrain me for a few minutes because othervise I vill be running about those bumblebees and I really don't vant to mess up your hard vork."
