Re: A Small Café
Pansy kept her eyes shut for a moment, even as he pulled away from her neck. It almost felt like if she opened her eyes, this wouldn't be real. But eventually she gave in, wanting to look up into his face again. She was barely able to form a smirk before he was kissing her again, his hand moving down to pull her closer to him again. She laughed slightly into the kiss, more amused than annoyed by his arm around her hips and butt. They were dating, and she trusted him not to take this any further than she let him, so why did it matter if that's where he wanted to rest his hand? Pansy rested her hands on the side of his face, pulling his jaw closer to her, deepening the kiss a little more.
Re: A Small Café
Draco was slightly surprised when she didn't complain about his hand moving over her ass, pleasantly surprised that is. They continued to kiss a while longer before Draco felt wetness on his cheeks. He pulled away, unsure what it was and looked at her for a moment before realizing what was happening. He instantly looked up and grinned, "Pansy, snow!" They had always been obsessed with snow as children, running out in it despite their parents rules, throwing snowballs and building forts. He looked down at her and smiled, still holding her close and he leaned in to give her another kiss.
Re: A Small Café
Pansy looked up at him, her lips still parted and full from kissing him. She turned her gaze skyward, blinking as the little flakes came toward her eyes. She laughed and glanced back at Draco, returning his smile and reliving probably the same childhood memories that he was at the moment. Pansy kissed him back for a moment, but now she was distracted by the fact that it was snowing. In a second, she was pushing him back a little, stepping away from the wall and pulling her head back so that she could look up at the sky again to watch the snow fall. Staring at the sky and laughing, she wrapped her arms around his middle, still close to him but leaning back to watch the snow fall around them.
Re: A Small Café
Draco was not pleased when she pushed him back so she could watch the snow fall but he should have expected it from her. His arms still held her tight, making sure she couldn't go anywhere. He looked up for a moment at the growing flakes before looking back down at her. He watched her enjoying the snow and chuckled, brushing some of the white flakes from her hair. "You've always loved snow." Even if she hated the accompanying cold and always ended up bundled up like an eskimo.
Re: A Small Café
Pansy would not be moving from his arms, not only because she liked being in them, but mostly because they were warm. Quite warm, and we all know how she loves that. She looked back at him when he swept the snowflakes from her hair. "Yeah, I have. It's so clean and pure and perfect." Her eyes flicked up again to look at the dark sky, the flakes filling up the air as they grew larger and more plentiful. She moved her arms around him so that they were inside his coat rather than outside, as it was warmer in there for her hands. She rested her head lightly on his chest, still watching the snow fall, but quite pleased to do so while snuggling up to her warm warm Draco. Tilting her head up, she kissed his jaw lightly, considered a little payback for the mark on her neck, but skipped that for now. If there was still a mark there tomorrow, well, she'd have to figure some consequences for him.
Re: A Small Café
Draco the body heater. You know if he was a cold person I don't think their friendship would have ever lasted this long. He held her close and smiled when slid her arms inside his coat. Draco was looking up at the sky when she kissed his jaw, the clouds made it so much lighter this time of night and the flakes were big ones, sticking to everything. He realized he should have grabbed a hat or something and wondered why she never remembered things like this. He looked down at her and gave her a kiss on the cheek, "Do you want to walk around here in the snow for a bit or head back?"
Re: A Small Café
Probably not. She does love taking advantage of his warmth. Pansy did not remember a hat becase she is forgetful. Despite her fierce desire for indpendence she probably should aways have someone to take care of her. Just in case. "You know I want to walk around a least until my fingers turn to ice." She grabbdhis hand and tugged him toward the main part of the street andout of the alley to enjoy the snow while it fell.
Re: A Small Café
Before she freezes to death? Good plan. Draco would rather not date a dead person. He smiled at her and held her fingers tight in his, trying to make sure they stayed a little warm. Then instead of that he rolled his eyes and pulled her close, sliding her sorta inside his jacket, just to give her a little more heat. They wandered up the main street direction shrieking shack, "So how has this past week been for you? Any change from the usual at all?"
Re: A Small Café
Pansy wrapped her arm around him as he pulled her closer and somewhat inside his jacket. She followed him down the street and shrugged. "I don't know. Same as always, bt boring means simple, and that's always good I guess. Not so terrible overall. You?" She smiled up at him and cozied up closer.
Re: A Small Café
He grinned at her and kissed the side of her head as she cuddled in closer. He knew she would like this, sapping all of his heat away, not that he minded. She could have it all if it made her happy. "Simple is good. The only interesting thing recently for me was seeing Loony Lovegood. She cornered me in the library for a chat about my hair."
Re: A Small Café
"Your hair? What about your gorgeus locks?"She smiled and reached up to ruffle his hair a little, quickly slipping back into his warmth. She could stay in the cold forever if she had him to keep her warm. Resting her head comfotably on his shouler, she let him lead the way toward the shrieking shack all through the snow and off the usual pathway.
Re: A Small Café
Draco grinned and chuckled, "She asked me if my hair was really blonde and then said we were bonded by our hair. She also went into something called Hairstronomy. I think you should study it." He cuddled her closer and they walked along the edge of the shack's fence. The snow was falling steadily now but it was gorgeous, the big flakes settling in their hair and sticking to their coats.
Re: A Small Café
"Hairstronomy, huh?" Pansy pretended to ponder for a moment, then laughed. "I'll stick with Astronomy I think." She rested her head on his shoulder as the strolled along the fence around the shack, pausing as they reached the gate that led down to a little path, trailing its way right up to the big broken door hanging halfway off its hinges. "You know, in seven years of school here, I've still never actually gone inside the Shrieking Shack. Strange, though I suppose I've never really had a reason to."
Re: A Small Café
Draco smiled when she leaned against him and stopped outside the little gate. "I've never really considered going in. It's odd, of all people we would normally be the ones who would go into something like that." He turned slightly and slid his other arm around her, pulling her close to him, "Pansy, I just want you to know how happy I am right now," and before she could say anything else he leaned in and kissed her, softly and gently, barely pressing their lips together.
Re: A Small Café
Pansy was about to respond about how it really was odd, that of all people they hadn't gone inside. Them, the ones who found the most outrageous ways to end up injuring themselves, to do the stupidest things together just for the fun of it, just because they weren't supposed to or just because they felt like it. But before she could speak up, he'd pulled her closer and his lips were on hers again. This time it was gentle though, much different from how it had been in the alley a little while ago. She loved it, how they could change from moment to moment. Sure sometimes that was for the worse, but sometimes it was for the better too. The gentleness, the roughness, all mixed up together. They were a strange pair, but it was almost impossible for her to imagine them as anything other than together.
Re: A Small Café
They really were togther in almost every sense of the word. They knew almost every detail of the other's lives and even what they didn't know they could always infer. It was a deep level of understanding that Draco knew he would never have with anyone else. Partly it was really thanks to their parents bringing them together as small children, the one truly good thing they had ever done for their children. Draco pulled back from the kiss and smiled at her before pulling her closer and resting his chin on her shoulder, enjoying the private moment. Pansy felt so small in his arms, so perfect to hold. He knew that Pansy could take care of herself, she probably always had been and he had just ignored it, but that didn't stop him from holding her like this and promising himself he would always protect her from everything, even himself.
Re: A Small Café
They were always in sync, or at least it felt that way. They could always figure out what the other was thinking, what was bothering them when they were stressed and hid it so well from nearly everyone else in their lives. But whether good or bad, they could never hide what they were really feeling from each other. If they were pissed about something, the other could tell, and if they were secretly happy about something, it wouldn't be long until the other would notice. Pansy put her arms around him inside his jacket, leaning into his warm chest as he wrapped his long arms around her. She hid her face in the crook of his neck, closing her eyes and resting, feeling perfectly safe and happy with him. Though they got in a lot of messes together, usually of their own creation, she knew he would always be there for her, and they would always do what they could to help each other get through the tough spots in life and figure out where to go from there. The thought of losing him, at least a little bit, once they both had gotten married and moved to their own pureblood homes and started their own lives that way, well, it terrified her. She couldn't imagine waking up a single morning without having him to go talk to, but she knew she would have to get used to it. But not yet. Not now. She pushed those thoughts away and held him close, enjoying the moments they had. Though she still wasn't sure if she was ready to really truly love him again, like she'd thought she had before, she knew she cared endlessly about him, and she'd do anything for him. Anything at all.
Re: A Small Café
The idea of them moving away from each other, married to people of their parents choosing was equally terrifying to him. He knew that there would never be anyone like her, anyone he would be able to go to when he had nightmares, to spend hours with not even talking, just sitting together. Not that he and Pansy ever truly did that, they always had something to talk about, even the most trivial things would turn into hours of conversation. They hadn't had a perfect relationship, especially not this year but now that they were back together again it was all so different and so much better. He turned his face slightly and pressed his lips to the side of her neck, not really kissing it so much as just touching it. Feeling its warmth and her heartbeat against him. Tonight had been a completely new step in their relationship and it had changed everything yet again.
Re: A Small Café
Pansy really did try to be everything for him, through all that they had experienced. She was there when he had nightmares when no one else was, there when his father was angry or disappointed, there when Draco just wanted someone close, some form of affection even if it was just sitting and holding his hand while they read stories to each other as kids. Pansy had always done what she could to be what he wanted or needed, and as far as she was concerned, she would be doing that for him for the rest of her life regardless of what else happened. She smiled as his lips rested on her neck, the sort of relationship they were enjoying now was so much different than it had ever been for them before. They were always affectionate with each other, to a certain extent at least, but this was all new, sneaking into an alley like that, even just standing here in Hogsmeade holding onto each other for no reason other than to feel loved, just because they can. Pansy burrowed closer into his arms and jacket as the wind picked up, blowing up under her coat and dress, reminding her that she wasn't exactly dressed for this sort of weather.
Re: A Small Café
Draco simultaneously knew and hoped that Pansy would always be there for him no matter what. It filled him with a warm feeling that he immediately stamped down for two reasons. Firstly because it was a particularly gryffindor feeling and secondly because as much as he wanted to he had to always remember who he was and the situation he was in. No matter what he felt towards Pansy he knew that his priority would always have to be to keep her safe, even of that meant taking himself out of the equation. He also knew she would hate that idea and fight him over it no matter how much sense it made. Pushing that thought aside too he settled into a state of temporary happiness and tighten his arms and jacket around her when she moved even closer. "You know before you get frostbite I think we should move this inside." He moved his lips from her neck and pulled back just far enough that he could give her a kiss before wrapping his scarf more securely around her, making sure she was still inside his coat and guiding her back in the direction of Hogwarts and a fireplace.
Re: A Small Café
Pansy laughed softly at his suggestion. If he hadn't said it, she was about to. She liked the snow and walking around with him, but she likes being toasty warm even better. She smiled up at him and followed where he lead, moving back down the main street of Hogsmeade toward Hogwarts again. She didn't bother to look at the faces they passed, didn't care who might be walking around the little town to see them. She only cared about Draco, only cared that it was his arm that was around her and his steady footfall beside her. She slipped away from him a little bit as they got back toward the entrance to the town. "If we walk the whole way, I'll freeze before we even get back to the Hogwarts grounds." And with that, she leaned up, pecked a kiss on his cheek, and took off at a lively run toward the castle, kicking up snow behind her, Draco's scarf trailing out over her shoulder. Once inside, she didn't stop running until they were back at the dungeons, the entrance to the common room, and she leaned against the wall there to catch her breath, turning to look at Draco with a smile stretched across her lips. And we can go post in the castle now.
Re: A Small Café
Draco was a little worried when Pansy pulled away from him but laughed when she completely pulled away and started running. He ran after her, keeping pace and avoiding the snow she was kicking up behind her. He rembered all the times they had run around in the snow outside their houses, trekking large amounts back into the house with them too, much to the chagrin of the elves and their mothers. He kept running until she stopped outside the common room where I will go finish this post.
Re: A Small Café
Teddy stepped into the cafe and sat a table for two beside the window. He placed his elbow on the table and rested his head in a hand, looking distantly out the window so the waitress wouldn't come to that table.

OH MY GOD. A WILD ELISE APPEARED, KIDNAPPED TEDDY, AND THEY GOT MARRIED.
*trollface*
Claire walked down to the cafe, adjusting her hat and her scarf. It was rather chilly out, seeing as it was winter, but she didn't mind since she was meeting Teddy in the cafe anyway. She stopped outside a random store window and checked her appearance. She bit her lip, took a deep breath to calm her nerves, and then walked into the cafe. She smiled when she saw Teddy and sat down across from him. She folded her hands over her lap before she spoke. "Sorry I'm late."

Re: A Small Café
Teddy looked away from the window when Claire sat down in front across from him, a smile on his face. "Hello to you, too." He said, "Don't worry about it, I wasn't here long." He absentmindedly tapped his fingers against the menu, deciding she looked a little nervous. Well, who wasn't on the first day. He could be a serial killer for all she knew. "Did you find it okay?" He asked her, assuming she'd never been here before. It was a rather stupid question, considering this place was smack in the middle of Hogsmeade. Still, he thought it was polite.
