Parvati looked up at him when he said it was a heavy sigh and gave him a small smile. "Yeah, I guess it was." She said as she looked up at him for a few moments before she turned her head again, looking in front of her as she kept her head on his shoulder. Her mind felt like it was practically moving a million miles per hour as she thought of almost every possible bad thing she could think of at that moment. Like how they might never get back to the present, and how she might be pregnant and have to deal with it in whatever time era this was.

James dropped the fork into the bowl and moved his head so that he looked down at her. "Parv..." he said slowly, seeing the expression on her face and realizing that there were lots of thoughts running through her mind. "Alright. Stop thinking. I think I know what you're thinking about and I think that that is a really bad thing to be thinking about in the first place, so please stop thinking about it," he said softly, using the word think quite a few times. "Come on. Just... let's talk about something else! Like....er... uhh... clothes! Or...shoes! Or...whatever you want to talk about."

Parvati stared at him and blinked a few times as he seemed to know exactly what she was thinking about. She was starting to wonder if James was some kind of mind reader, or if Parvati was just really bad with her facial expressions. "Okay, okay, fine." She said quietly. "I'll try and stop but it's kind of hard to stop thinking about it." She told him and raised an eyebrow at him as he suggested they talk about clothes or shoes. She gave him a small smile. "James, I thought Al was the gay brother." She said with a small teasing smile.

"I know," he said gently. "Just try not to let it bother you too much." He looked at her with an amused expression. "Well, you don't know about my history with my dorm mate Dave," he said with a small shrug. He was quiet for a moment before quickly saying, "That was a joke! A complete joke. Dave is just a mate. Just a friend. I swear. I was just trying to think of something you would enjoy talking about."

Parvati shrugged when James said to not her it bother her too much, for that was much easier said than done. Her eyes widened completely when he said he had a history with Dave. "You? Wow, we are very alike." She said and then her eyes widened even more when she realized that he was just joking and she was being completely and totally serious. She cleared her throat awkwardly. "Right, of course it was a joke. I mean, you don't do that when you're just friends. No." She said, shaking her head. "Of course not." She said and looked away and sighed. "Well, I don't know what we could talk about." She said, pursing her lips as she tried to think of something to talk about.

James eyes widened a bit when she mentioned the two of them being alike. Well. Well then. That...that pretty much implied that she had a history with a being with a girl and he definitely wanted to know a bit more about that. She seemed quick to agree with denial though, which made him think that she wasn't being all to truthful. "Well, I think we know what we can talk about...because there definitely seems to be a story that you need to share with me," he said with a small nod. "Come on, you've got nothing to hide from me," he said gently.

Well this just got awkward. Lol.

Parvati's eyes widened slightly when he suggested she share her story with him and bit her lip gently. She definitely thought that this was something that should be kept hidden from James for his entire life. She could share with him though, right? She didn't have to tell him who the girl was. She could just tell him what happened. "Well, let's just say, that there is a certain girl on the Cheer Team that I got very close to." She said with a small smile. "Yeah, very close to, in the showers to be specific." She said, really hoping he would not ask who because that would get very awkward.

James was rather surprised when she gave him a bit of information, though he was even more surprised to find out that she had had an...experience with a girl. That was...well...err...wow. James' head was definitely spinning with teenage male fantasies which would get real awkward if he knew who the other girl was. "She's on the cheer team with you? What happened to your friendship after it happened?" he asked. "Wait, I'm right in assuming this happened before we got together...right? "

Parvati nodded. "Yeah, it was a while ago." She told him. "It happened back in October." She told him. "Yeah she is actually one of my best friends like ever, which I guess is why it just felt so, natural." She said with a light shrug. "I don't really know. I haven't seen her much since. I saw her like one time right after and we decided it was all going to be normal and then we made out. But after that I didn't see her for like six months and then when I did see her she knew I was dating you and I don't think she was very amused by that." She said with a small eyeroll. "She thought it was weird."

James' eyebrow furrowed when she mentioned that it was one of her best friends, for he honestly couldn't think of who. He knew that Parv was bff-y with Al, but Al was obviously a guy and in Slytherin. So there went that. "Oh, I'm sorry that your friendship hasn't quite been the same since then- wait," he froze, turning to look at her with a rather offended expression. "This girl didn't like that I was dating you? What, am I not good enough for you? Does she think I'm just some stupid Gryffindor guy? Why wouldn't she like me?"

Parvati shrugged. "Well, what can you do?" She said with a sigh as he said that he was sorry her friendship hadn't been the same and then her eyes widened slightly as she realized the last thing she had said. "Oh, Um." She said, biting down hard on her lip. "I don't think it's that she doesn't like you." She said, because they were family so how could she hate him. "I think it was just kind of weird for her for certain reasons because you know." She said and shrugged, even though James didn't know.

"Parv, you're not making much sense," James said with a frown. "This girl thinks it's weird that we're dating? Why in the world would someone think it's weird that we're dating? I mean, sure...sometimes I see couples like that one seventh year Hufflepuff girl and that fifth year Ravenclaw boy and think that they are an extremely odd couple...but I see nothing wrong with the two of us dating! In fact, I think we're a pretty normal and awesome couple," he said, still really confused.

Parvati looked at him, her face slightly scrunched up as she tried to think of how to either tell James why it was weird or what she would make up so he would understand why it was weird. "Well," She said, biting down on her lip. "I guess, she just thought it was weird because she knows you kind of like pretty well." She said, being very vague with everything she said. "You guys just know each other so I guess that was why she thought it was weird." She said, nodding slowly.

James was even more confused than before when he tried to think of the people that he knew on the Gryffindor cheer team that he knew. "I know you're friends with Lavender, though... I don't really know her so I don't think it's her. Huh. Who else is on that team. He went through a mental catalogue of all the girls, his mind suddenly freezing on one. "Wait," he said slowly. "The one girl...who I actually would know and talk to...is...my cousin," he said, his tone somewhat flat.

Parvati watched him as he seemed to really be racking his brain to try and think of the girls who were on the team and really hoped that he wouldn't notice that his cousin Dom was on the cheer team. She bit down on her lip again as he mentioned the only girl on the team was his cousin and just kind of stared at him for a few moments, at a loss for words. "Um, yeah?" She asked, not really sure what else to say. "Yeah, you're cousin is on the team." She said quietly, having no idea what to say for she just felt like an awkward mess right now.

Well of course James would know his cousin was on the cheer squad. He just really wouldn't think of his cousin in this sort of situation because he wasn't expecting...well... that. "Right. Well. This...err. I don't really know what to say. I mean, obviously it's in the past and whatnot, so it's not that big of a deal. But, I mean... it's still rather awkward. You and my cousin...my female cousin...have made out." He was quiet for a moment, trying to digest it all. "So she doesn't really talk to you much now?" he asked softly. "I haven't talked to her in ages, so I really don't know much about what's been going on with her. Al was always closer with Dom," he shrugged.

Parvati nodded. "Yeah, that's why I was trying to avoid the subject." She said with a soft, and very awkward chuckle. "Oh we didn't just make out." She said to clarify, not realizing that James probably could have gone his entire life without knowing that they did more than just make out. "Just saying." She said with a small shrug. "Um, no. Not much." She said with a sigh. "I don't know. We both agreed we weren't going to let things change after that, but things have definitely changed." She said, rather upset that she wasn't very close with Dom anymore.

"Yeah, now I get why you weren't really giving me much information. I mean, if it was another girl...I probably would have been asking for details," he admitted, because, well, he is a teenage guy and those hormones like the idea of two girls making out. "Oh...wellllll then. Yeah, I don't really want to know how far you two ended up going," he said, trying to clear his mind from the image. "Well, things always sort of change after you have any sort of intimate interaction with a person. That's just the way life is. That whole friends with benefits type of thing definitely never works. Someone always gets hurt in the end. I'm sorry that it didn't work out well though," he said softly.

Parvati couldn't help but laugh slightly when he mentioned that he would ask for details if it was any other girl. "Well, if it wasn't someone related to you I probably would have started off by asking if you would ever be interested in a threesome, to be honest. But I think that would be way to awkward considering who it was." She said with a small grin. "Yeah, well, maybe one day we'll be able to move past it all and be best friends again." She said with a small smile and the reached over and took his hand in hers, intertwining their fingers.

James' eyes widened slightly when she mentioned a threesome type of thing, because honestly, the thought of such a thing never had crossed his mind. He really wasn't sure if she was serious or joking or whatever, but he was rather surprised by the statement. "I'm sure things will all work out. You know how Dom is, it usually takes her a while to work through personal things and she tends to keep to herself instead of talking it out," he said, instantly allowing their fingers to intertwine.

"Well, there's nothing wrong with that," he said with a smile. Watching as she fell back onto the bed, he soon followed suit and allowed himself to relax on the bed. "You know what I think you need? I think you need a nice, relaxing massage."

I think it would be better if it was with him because he wouldn't have to just watch, he would be able to touch too. Anyways. Parvati moved onto her side when he laid down next to her and kept her hand in his. "What?" She asked quietly and then smiled at what he said he thought she needed. It did sound like an extremely appealing idea to her. "I think, that would be nice." She said with a small smile. "Do you happen to know of anyone around here who gives really great massages?" She asked, raising an eyebrow with a small grin.
