Parvati is glad that James only fell into a light sleep because we wouldn't want him to be in a deep sleep if a deer came. The deer might attack them after all. I mean, we all know how scary and dangerous those deer are. >.> Anyways, after a nice sleep with some dreams about James, >.> Parvati woke up as the light from the sunrise started to come into the fort through the few cracks in it. She opened her eyes slowly, smiling as she realized that she was next to James and that her hand was in his. She almost jumped when she heard something moving outside of the fort in the forest but relaxed as she realized it was probably just a little animal or something and nothing to really worry about. It was when she heard a voice when she started to get a little freaked out. She moved her hand that wasn't in James and gently nudged his shoulder. "James, are you up?" She whispered quietly and didn't wait for an answer before nudging him with a little more force to wake him up if he wasn't awake already. "James, someone's out there." She said quietly and quickly, not really fancying the idea of being in the middle of the forest with a sleeping James if someone decided to bother them.

Inner!James eyes had completely widened. Joking about a deer coming in the middle of the night is not very nice. You really did freak him out and I don't think he'll ever sleep easily again, even when in the safe confines of the castle. In my head, there may be random deer running around from time to time, who knows, so he just isn't going to be able to sleep easily. Though, if things get scary, he can just get his mummy to come and save the day. Anyway. James felt someone nudging him awake and slowly blinked his eyes open. "Mmm 'm up," he mumbled, still half asleep until Parvati alerted him to the fact that they were not alone. His eyes opened instantly and he sat up from where he had slept. "Shit," he said softly, straining his ears for any sounds. After a second he heard the voices, them seeming as if they were coming closer and talking about the fort. "It's going to be fine," he insisted, rolling up their Hogwarts robes to hide the crest and then shoving them into the corner of the fort. "I'm sure they are harmless people," he said, seriously hoping that he was right. The voices soon demanded that if anyone was in the fort, that they exit it now unless they wanted to be burned to the ground. James gave Parvati an alarmed and scared look, then took her hand and exited the fort.

Parvati raised an eyebrow at him slightly when he said it was going to be fine for she really didn't think it would be fine and she was actually pretty scared. But hey, if he is scared of deer then she is allowed to be scared of people sometimes, right? Right. When he said they they were probably just harmless people she nodded slowly at him and took a deep breath. "Right." She said quietly and then her eyes widened as the people outside their fort demanded they either exit the fort or be burned to the ground. That didn't sound very harmless to her. "That doesn't sound very harmless." She said as she stood up and stepped out of the fort with him, her hand holding onto his tightly like when Nev got stiches in her forehead she held onto her mom's hand. That was very, very tightly by the way. She tried not to look at the two men that were standing in front of them in the eye because she was genually scared right now and she didn't feel like getting more scared by looking at them in the eye, and Nev doesn't really know what the guys are going to say to them right now or how this little thing that is going to go down is going to go down so Nev is going to let Dom write what they say. >.> Nev also never really paid attention during history class so she doesn't really know anything about this kind of deal. <.<

As they walked out of the fort, James grimaced because of Parvati’s tight grip. “Parv, I think I’d like to keep my hand,” he said quietly, hoping she would loosen it. She’s gotta comply with that statement, because James is sure that Parvati wants him to keep his hand as well. James looked around, seeing that they were joined by four large guys, their large bellies accentuated by the tunics they wore. Dom just realized she has no fucking idea how these people ought to really talk. Perhaps she should have chosen an easier time or something. “What hath we here?” one of them sneered. Does that sound good? Oh well, it works. “A fair maiden, rare and worth riches that Gorbin hath me promised,” another one remarked, eyeing Parvati with a sense of greed. “Foolish troll, unless thee plan on sharing, the maiden will be taken by I and the riches mine.” James quickly deduced what was happening, his hand tightening on Parvati’s slightly. “No one takes her,” he voiced loudly, standing tall. “Go on...err….go on thee way, and we shall face no problems,” he said, smiling to himself because he was rather proud of himself for hopefully sounding like he fit into the time period.

Parvati gave him an apologetic look when she realized how tightly she was holding onto his hand and mumbled a small sorry as she loosened her grip a bit on his hand. Parvati definitely does not want James to lose his hand, that would make her very upset. If he did lose his hand she would probably hold a huge funeral and everything for it. It would be such a tragic moment for her. Yeah, Nev didn't really know how they were supposed to talk which is why she left that part up to you. >.> Which you did quite a good job at I must say. When the men eyed her as if she was the last steak and they were all starving she glared back at them because she did not like being looked at that way. She also didn't like that they were implying James share her with them because she thought she should have a say in if she was shared or not. After James' words she gave him a look, wondering why he was talking like that and then decided that he was trying to fit in. She looked back at them and wasn't sure if a women would talk this way to a man in this time era but she found herself not really giving a rats ass. "Excuse me, I'm not a piece of meat." She said with a glare, and then realized she should probably talk more like they were so she seemed to fit in a bit. "He is the boyfriend of me." She said, a small smile gracing her lips, as she thought she was doing quite a good job at fitting in. "And I want him and not thee." She said pointing at them and then stepping closer to James and giving them all her head bitch in charge glare.

James grimaced when Parvati spoke, for he was sure that the men were not going to be rather pleased to have her talking to them in such a way. He was sure her stubbornness was going to be viewed as even more of a reason to try and tame her. “Thy maiden is a temptress,” one of the men with severely crooked teeth said in a malicious tone. James wasn’t sure how Parvati was tempting them in the slightest, but he was growing more and more nervous with the whole situation. “Leave her alone,” he said. “Leave, all of thee,” he added. The men all just laughed, stepping closer to the couple. “The maiden is fair, with breasteses that sell for more riches than a peasant like thee owns. Men will pay great fortunes to lay with her pure body.” James thought carefully over what the man said, slowly coming to the realization that the men must have wanted to sell Parvati into prostitution. “No. She will not become a common whore for thee to sell,” he said, hoping that he was subtly in taking a step back from the group of men.

Parvati was extremely unamused and offended by all of the comments that the men were making about her right to her face. It was rude and they were acting like pigs. Their mothers should seriously be embarrassed for how they raised their children. She slowly stepped back when James did and she knew by the look on their faces at her first comment that she really shouldn't make another comment but she couldn't control herself. She was angry at the way they were talking about her and she wouldn't take it. She let out a sarcastic laugh and stepped closer to them, getting all up in their grill because they didn't scare her. Okay so maybe they did scare her a little but she had to act like they didn't. "Um. No." She said with a glare. "I shall not be the sex slave of you." She said with a glare. "I am not thy's whore." She said, still glaring up at the ugly man in front of her. "I haveth a boyfriend whom I loveth and I don't want thee. So go geteth friendly with thy hand." She said, still glaring up at the four men in front of her, trying to keep the look on her face brave and confident and not act as if she was scared out of her brains.

James froze when Parvati stepped closer to the men, for that was the opposite direction that she really should have gone in. When she opened her mouth and spoke, he then had to hold back a groan. She really shouldn’t have said anything in the first place, for the men had been worked up as it was. Now though, the men seemed even more interested in the fact that she seemed to be a feisty one. “Thy maiden must learn control,” one of the men sneered to James, instantly grabbing Parvati and pulling her towards him. “You should never speak to a man in such a manner. Calmeth thy breasts,” he said, a cruel laugh escaping his lips as he began pulling her away. James instantly snapped into action. “Let her go!” he said, taking his wand out of his tunic…well, not pocket. Tunics don’t have pockets. I guess out of his tights then, huh. He grabbed his magical wand out of his tights and held it up. “Release her,” he said, smirking at the confused look on the men’s faces. “Thy stick is worthless like you, foolish peasant,” one of them remarked. “So you think,” James mumbled to himself, quickly casting ‘Petrificus totalus’ on the men. He didn’t hit the man holding Parvati though, not wanting her to be stuck in the guys hold. “Release her,” he said in a low tone, waiting for the man to comply. Once he did, turning to run, James hit him with the spell from behind.

Parvati realized she may have taken it a bit too far by saying all those comments to them and she really did not fancy the idea of them teaching her control. When he pulled her towards him she let out a small scream and attempted to get out of his grasp but failed because the man was much bigger then her and stronger. "Let go of me you fat pig!" She practically spat at him as he began to pull her away. She was actually getting quite worried now as they continued to pull her away because she didn't want to get put into prostitution and she really was regretting ever saying a word. She glanced back at James as she continued squirming and trying to get out of the man's grasp and saw he took his wand out. When the man that was holding her finally released her she practically flew onto the ground since there was no longer anything for her to pull away from. She took a deep breath and stood up and walked over to James and wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. "Oh my god, thank you James." She said, not letting go of him. "I'm so sorry I shouldn't have opened my big mouth." She mumbled into his shirt because it was true, nothing would have escalated to this if she hadn't opened her big mouth and bitched at the men.

Once James was sure that the men were petrified and not going to do anything further, he wrapped his arms around Parvati. “It’s okay,” he said instantly, trying to reassure her that it was alright. “You’re like me and have a bit of a knack for speaking what comes to mind in the heat of the moment. It all worked out okay though,” he told her. After a moment, sure that she was alright, he glanced over at the four men on the ground. “What should we do about them?” he asked. “I guess we should just leave them here. I mean, we’ll be able to get quite the head start if we just leave now. It’s not like there’s the magical law enforcement that’s going to come after us for doing magic in the presence of muggles,” he thought aloud. “I guess we really ought to just move and go somewhere else.”

Parvati nodded at his words and kept her arms wrapped around his waist. “Thank you for keeping your promise.” She mumbled quietly to him as she kept her arms around him, wanting nothing more than to just hug him and be completely grateful that she had an amazing boyfriend that was willing to be amazing and practically save her life for her. When he asked what they should do about the four men she turned her head to look over her shoulder at them. “Get as far away from them as possible.” She suggested before turning back to him and giving him a small smile. “Yeah, it probably wouldn’t be best to stay here much longer.” She said quietly. “I don’t think it would be very fun if we ran into more guys like them who wanted to try and force me into prostitution.” She said with a sigh as she looked up at him, her arms still wrapped around his waist. “The only person I want to do anything sexual with for the--” She suddenly realized what she was about to say and cut herself off and cleared her throat awkwardly. “is you.” She added with a small nod.

“Alright, best to head to Godric’s Hollow then,” he said quietly, not wanting the men to pick up on where they were going. He hoped that Godric’s Hollow would hold at least a little resemblance to how he remembered it, but he knew that that was a foolish thing to hope for. James knew that there was no way he was going to allow for her to be sold into prostitution, but he wasn’t so sure it would be easy fighting off a big crowd of men. He glanced down at her when she spoke about doing things of the sexual nature, curious to hear what the rest of the sentence was going to be. He had a feeling he knew, but he didn’t want make things awkward or pressure her to say anything. “Well I feel the same,” he replied softly while taking out his wand. “Ready to go?” he asked, preparing to apparate the two of them.

She nodded when he said they should head to Godric’s Hollow because that really was the best choice they had at the moment. It was the one place that they could go to and probably find other wizards that would be able to hopefully help them out to get back to the present. When he said he felt the same she couldn’t help but smile, she didn’t think he was agreeing with what she almost said because that was just ridiculous for her to even think but even just the part she did say made her happy that he agreed with her. When he asked if she was ready to go she nodded and stepped back from him, breaking the hug as her hand grabbed onto his, she intertwined their fingers and gripped onto his hand tightly as she stood next to him. She closed her eyes tightly and waited for him to apparate them, hoping he would do it quickly because she really wasn’t that fond of apparating.

Once she seemed ready to go, he held her hand tightly while thinking carefully about the three Ds. After all, he didn’t want them to end up in an ocean or South America or something instead of Godric’s Hollow. That would be really embarrassing. He also didn’t want to splinch either of them. That would be really horrible and sad. A few seconds later, they apparated away from the little forest, ending up in another little town. Opening his eyes, James looked around for a moment. “Well, it does look a bit different,” he said with a small shrug. “Though, I feel like that one building is actually kind of familiar,” he said, cocking his head to the side as he analyzed it carefully. “I…I’m not really sure where to go from here. I guess we’ll just have a look around at the different streets.”

Parvati would be kind of upset if he splinched her. She wouldn’t be the happiest camper in the campground. When they were finally on their feet again and nice and steady she opened her eyes again and loosened her grip on his hand, keeping her hand lightly in his. She looked around at the little town, not really recognizing much of it. She sighed and looked over at him and nodded as he said it looked kind of familiar. Familiar was always good, it was much better than they had gotten in London. “Yeah, just looking down the different streets sounds like a good idea.” She said with a small nod as she looked around and then started walking down one of the streets around them.

He allowed her to lead the two of them towards one of the dirt roads. “I think this is the main street of Godric’s Hollow in our time,” he told her. “I mean, just going off of that one building that looks familiar.” They passed a few more buildings, all sort of spaced out kind of far apart. At least, they seemed more far apart then how the buildings in the modern Godric’s Hollow were placed. “None of these buildings are really marked,” he sighed, wishing that they were so it would make things easier. “I guess there really aren’t shops here. People probably just sell things themselves or at one common place,” he said. “Maybe we should try that really big building over there?” he suggested, pointing off to the left.

Parvati nodded as he said it was probably the main street in their time. She wasn’t all that familiar with Godric’s Hollow so she was just going to take his word for it. She looked over at the building he was pointing to on the left and gave him a small nod. “Yeah, it looks too big to be a house so it must be some kind of store, maybe a church.” She suggested with a sigh. “It can’t hurt to check it out.” She added and gave him a small smile before walking over to the building with him and up to the door. She looked down at the door handle and then looked back to him and waited for him to open it, because she was slightly nervous to open it. Just like how she was nervous for every little thing they did in this time era.

As they made their way closer to the larger building, he seriously hoped that it wasn’t someone’s house that they were about to barge into. That got him to wonder what the crimes were in this time period for breaking and entering or stealing or any of the other things that they had done. He really hoped that they didn’t get caught for he really didn’t fancy finding out what punishments were like. He took the signal that she was giving him as they stood in front of the door and reached out to open the door. What was revealed though wasn’t as interesting as he was expecting. It was just a large room, one that seemed to be rather empty. “I guess maybe they have town meetings or something here,” he sighed, wishing that it had been something. “Well, we could either stay here for a bit and wait to see if someone comes or wander the streets and try and gather information from people we pass,” he suggested.

Parvati sighed as she saw the boring, empty room. She was hoping it would maybe be some kind of church or ministry office or something of those sorts for she really kind of wanted to just find out of they were ever going back to the present or not. It would be a nice thing to know. When he said the two options that they had she rocked back and forth on her heels slightly for a moment while she thought. “Hmm, I say we wander around.” She said with a small nod. “Just in case we aren’t supposed to be in here.” She added because if it was some sacred building that you weren’t allowed in unless invited and they just barged in then that would not be good in the slightest.

James nodded, for that really was the best plan. He wasn't sure how people would react if they stumbled into the place and there was a guy and girl just chillin' out. "Yeah, best to get out of here," he sighed. "Maybe there will be a meeting of some sort later tonight," he said hopefully, taking her hand in his and leading her out of the building. "Well, if we look on the bright side, at least the weather isn't too terrible," he said, giving her a small smile. Once they were on the street again, he looked around and noticed that it seemed like a few people were heading towards some sort of field. "Should we head down there?" he asked.

Parvati smiled at him and intertwined their fingers when he grabbed onto her hand. "That's true." She said nodding because they really were lucky it wasn't raining or snowing or anything of that sorts. That would definitely not be fun if it was pouring rain and they didn't have a house to live in. "Let's hope that didn't just jinx it though." She said with a light laugh as she leaned against his side gently as they walked. She glanced over at the field everyone was headed in and shrugged. "It can't hurt to go and check out what's going on." She said with a small nod as she started walking in the direction of everyone else.

James laughed, seriously hoping that the weather didn't turn to shit now. "Let's just hope they are friendly to people they don't recognize," he said, walking down a small grass path with her before ending up near the field where some people were. "Hello," James said to them, giving them a hopeful smile, one that communicated 'Please do not kill us with those weird wooden instruments you are holding'. One of the men gave James and Parvati a careful and calculating look. "Ahh, thee the new workers? Good," one of them said, passing some of the wooden instruments over. "Work the field and thee be rewarded with small profit." James quickly deduced that the workers thought him and Parvati were going to work the fields, which, for money, might not be too bad. They did need whatever the currency of this time period was.

Parvati nodded. "Yeah, we could also always play the role of 'The new married couple in town that is from far far away who don't know anyone'" She suggested with a small grin. She gave the people that James had let them up to a small smile as she decided to let James do all the talking this time. For last time when she opened her mouth it did not turn out very well. When the men said something about how they were the new workers she glanced over at James for a second and then to the wooden tool looking things that they were being handed. She reached her hand out and took them from the man with a smile and nodded as he said they would work the field for money. Money was always good and it was definitely something that could help them out. She held the tools and gave them a curious look, having absolutely no idea how to use them at all.

James looked at the tools that they were passed. Well this was going to be difficult. The tools were odd and confusing looking, but he figured that he would just have to figure this out. "Thanks," James mumbled, taking Parvati towards an area of the field that looked rather empty. "Sweet Merlin how does this thing work?" he mused, turning the instrument over in his hand. "I'm not really sure what we're supposed to doing either," he said, glancing over at another man who was working the field. "It looks like he's just moving the dirt around, probably making it ready for planting." James used the tool, hitting the dirt with it. "Uhh, that's not right, is it," he sighed, noticing that it didn't do much. "I wish I knew a spell for this sort of thing."

Parvati walked over to the field, still looking curiously at the tool in her hand. She never really gardened much in the past so she didn't know anything about it. Oh wow. Inner!Neville is now disappointed in her and is lecturing her about how important gardening is in life. Op. She shrugged slightly. "I have no idea. I'm not a gardener." She said, biting her lip lightly as she watched what other people were doing. She nodded when he said that the man was making the dirt ready for planting. "Yeah." She said nodding. "That's probably what we should be doing." She said with a nod and laughed slightly as he hit it on the ground. She leaned down and dragged the tool across the dirt, softening it to make it easier to plant and making it smoother. "Oh! I think thats what we are supposed to be doing." She said before doing it again and looking up at him. "Does that look right?"
