OH MY GOSH SO LIKE EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING.
I didn't cry over the deaths. But I fucking lost it once the credits started rolling. I mean, it's been ten fucking years for me. That's two/thirds of my life.

BUT MY COMPLETE FAVORITE PART WAS WHEN THE MALFOYS WERE ALL LIKE, FUCK THIS SHIT WE'RE LEAVING VOLDECUNT AND THEN CISSY AND DRACO WERE LIKE HOLDING HANDS ON THE BRIDGE AND WALKING AWAY AND LUCIUS LOOKED BACK BUT HE ENDED UP FOLLOWING THEM AND OH MY GOD FAVORITE PART HANDS DOWN.

But YES. They could have done that, surely. And if not, what would the odds have been of Little Lily being allergic to contacts???
Also, my rampant Evotter-lover sort of squeed when Lily and James introduced themselves right after Lily was sorted. XD

I waited to post here until all my thoughts made sense...since I'm still on a high from last night.
I agree with everyone else, the movie was pretty flawless and perfect. Sure, there were some things that didn't go along with the book, but I feel like both DH part 1 and DH part 2 were the most accurate of the movies. Considering all the action and sequence of events, Yates definitely did an amazing job.

There wasn't much I was annoyed with. Though I definitely noticed Lily's brown eyes and wondered wtfffff. And yeah, The Prince's Tale was missing things, but I'm glad that it wasn't so quick and that it gave Snape justice. What I also liked about that scene, was the little flashbacks to things of the other films for it to make sense and click for others who don't have all the scenes memorized (like after Snape showed Dumbledore the doe patronus, the next part showed the scene in DH 1 with the silver doe. That way people who are a bit thicker or not bigger fans, would actually get it).

Anywayyy, I'm sure I could go on about things, but I'm going to see it again tonight and so my thoughts and emotions and everything won't be as jumbled up as they still are from the epic and amazing ending.

They messed up Bella dying! She deserved a nice death rather than an explosion death. I was mad.

She was human, unlike whatever Voldemort had become.
She should have thudded to the ground, stone cold dead with that stupid laugh still on her face.

So I'm on the fence about the Percy thing too...like, I don't think the movies ever showed him leaving the Ministry and joining his family again. The last time you really see much of him was in the fifth movie and he was totally working for the Ministry. And then during the war he's with his family again...which is obviously all good, but it's just a strange turnabout without the explanation. Unless my brain's just being weird and I'm forgetting something or other. D:

Maybe it will be a deleted scene.
Considering his takeoff wasn't really too crucial to any of the movie's plots, if it was filmed, they probably took it out because Percy hasn't been too important in the movies.
I don't know.
