Lily looked out across the water, and put her hand to her temple. She had a killer headache. "Yes, I believe you Sev, I forgive you...ahh..I've got to go. I've got a horrible headache, sorry. See you, Sev!"

Severus sighed as she walked away, leaving Severus alone and confused. He worried about her, so much- why wouldn't she talk to him then, if she forgave him? He felt horrible- why should she trust him, when he'd hurt her like that? Suddenly, the lake didn't seem like such a nice place anymore. He grabbed his things and left for the common room, unsure what to do with himself.

Remus had seen Severus fall as he'd left and for some reason it had totally set him off. He'd made it to the dock and sat down before totally loosing it. He laughed and tears ran down his face again. "I...hahaha am crazy...hahaha" He was shaking he was laughing so hard. He had lost it. Totally crazy, nutters. At least he wasn't angry while he lost it. Who knows what he'd do...probably hurt someone... That thought made him calm down a bit and he laid back against the wood of the dock letting his feet dangle in the water. He didn't care anymore and let the tears flow freely. The stress of the past couple of days flowed out of him for now. Yes there had been happy moments but there was much more that was stressing him out. He needed someone to talk to...maybe Dean would show up at some point that would be nice. He sighed and closed his eyes.

*stumbles happily down to the dock with half a mind to go for a swim. she feels a lot better than she had for the most of the day - less burdoned, less angry, and truth be told, downright tipsy. she looks at the bottle of butterwhisky in her hand and giggles in confusion at it - she doesn't remember how it got to be in her hand, but she's glad she's got it. she spots a lone figure at the end of the dock and practically screams with delight*

Remus jumps when he hears Hermione call his name and guiltily wipes the tears away from his face so she doesn't see he was crying. He stands up and walks over to her hoping she can't tell anything's wrong. When he gets close enough he notices a bottle in her hand and she looks way to tipsy....
It's more than he can handle at the present moment and he loses it again. He doesn't even care that she'll see him crying. "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!" He grabs the bottle from her hand and pours it out angrily. "Where did you get this? Oh, screw it, just WHY?!"

He grits his teeth and tries to keep himself from sobbing harder. He hated this. Hated seeing her like this. Why the hell was this happening?! It was because he'd screwed up in the first place. If he hadn't screwed up then she would have never started drinking. This was his fault.
"Why..." He didn't know what to say, what to do. He couldn't think properly anymore. Today was just fucked up. "I have to go." He didn't want to leave her here alone but he couldn't handle her at the moment. Maybe he'd find Tam or someone to stay with her until she was sober again.

[someone??? who can Remus come find?]
