I tried to stop but I... I can't stop drinking, Tam. It's the first thing I think to do whenever anything goes even slightly wrong and I just... I'm terrified that... I mean, so far I've managed only to hurt my pride and maybe some people's feelings, but what if I do something and someone gets really hurt? I couldn't live with myself!

Yeah he knows. He's been helping, but I... I overreacted to something really stupid yesterday, and before I knew it I had most of a bottle of firewhisky in me... I'm so stupid sometimes. Just please, please don't let me hurt anyone!

You're doing the baby thing brilliantly! Hashbee is healthy and safe and happy! And I know things didn't work out with Pete, but a failed relationship doesn't mean you'll never get it right. It just means it didn't work this time. You'll find someone who suits you perfectly and you'll make it work - when it's right you'll get it right, sweetie.

*sighs* I know what you mean about friends. If it was New Years, my resolution would be to spend more time with friends and stop neglecting them. I can't even remember the last time I saw my room mates!

Severus wanders down to the dock, kicking off his shoes and letting his feet dangle in the water. He was so tired, so frustrated, so lost in thought. There were too many damn people with too many damn problems and too much fucking drama. He just wanted a place he could breathe fresh air, and sort some thing out in his mind.

Lily had been walking beside the lake, furious and hurt at what had just happened and saw Sev, but just stopped walking, not sure if she wanted to talk to him after what had just happened. He'd hate me...or kill James...or he'd attack James and get himself killed...or just hate me..

Lily sighed, but managed to keep the smile. "I'm...fine. A bit tired and confused...but fine. Got to talk with Hermione which was nice." Don't think of James, anything but James, anything but how he kissed you and you didn't do anything to make him leave but he did anyway and now needs to be slapped as he's obviously mad.. no thinking of that..well. That failed miserably.

Severus flinched at the mention of Hermione's name- Merlin, how he wanted to hurt that bitch. She was Lily's friend, though, and he couldn't say a thing about her. Sev couldn't help but notice Lily looked more than just a little tired and confused- something was wrong. "Lily... I'm sorry about the other day, you do believe me, right? I shouldn't have said what I did, I didn't mean to hurt you. I can understand if you don't want to talk to me... but something's wrong. What is it, Lily? Can't you tell your best friend?" he asked, his voice full of apprehension and concern for her.
