she smiled. she was glad he didn't think too much of her bookwormieness. "Yea, i've noticed her around. Never really interacted with her, but she's real smart as well. I wonder why she didn't get put into Ravenclaw..."

Faye Denowitz wrote:Faye was now bored. Why did people at this school have to be SO lame? She stood up to leave the Pitch, seeing as no one was seeming the least bit awesome, but stopped abruptly. The boy on the broom seemed sad with the outcome of that fight he had just had. She wondered why. He wanted what he was talking about, didn't he? She climbed over the edge of the stands and jumped onto the grassy field. She was actually going to try and be social, "Hey you. The one with the catching-snitch complex."

Regulus turned at the sound of his name. It was the girl who'd been staring at him earlier. He swerved down to greet her. "Hey," he said, a little confused.

"that she is" she nods in agreement. "well, I've really enjoyed meeting you Viktor, but I have an essay I need to write, so I need to head back to the castle! I hope to see you soon!"

That certainly doesn't give me a lot to work with. Sonofabitch. Faye awkwardly shifted and felt her hand latch tightly onto her wrist. Great attempt at being social. "I'm Faye," She didn't hold out her hand or anything. Germs.

"Nice meeting you Penny." Viktor looked around and saw a blonde girl sitting in the bleachers. He walked over and smiled. "Hello there. I'm Viktor Krum. I am new 'ere."

Regulus looked her over, trying to remember where he might have seen her before- perhaps around the common room? She looked like a Slytherin. "Regulus," he replied, holding out his hand. "Regulus Black. Fifth year."

Germsssss. Faye looked at his hand before slowly outstretching her hand and shaking his. Being social was incredibly dangerous. She felt like a rebel. She looked back up at him, "Oh, really?" She smirked, she had never had a decent enough smile, "I'm a fifth year too. You're in Slytherin, right?" She pretty much knew this as fact, but the bacteria potentially spreading through her body had cleared her mind of all things logical.

[I'm having fun with this. Even though she's not going to be a germaphobe.]

[I find it amusing]

"Yeah. Obviously," he said, gesturing at his Slytherin quidditch robes.

Faye flushed with embarrassment. Maybe I'm blind. Insensitive. She wrote a mental note to herself to list all these characteristics he showed later in one of her textbooks. She shrugged, "Yeah, well. Whatever." She remembered about the Snitch he kept playing a repetitive game of catch-and-release with, "Are you a Seeker or something?"

[I know we have Draco listed as our seeker but I'm sticking to canon, Connor can kiss my ass.]

[Well, since Connor's on restriction, I say go for it.]

"You say that like staring's a bad thing," Faye scoffed and arched a brow, "I have never played before. All of the balls have touched people before and that spreads germs and lowers your life expectancy. I would never do something that would potentially lower my life span. That's just silly. And frankly, you're the first person I've socialized with and I kind of like you, so I'm going to hope that your life span doesn't get unbelievably shortened by your love of the sport!" She rambled for the most part and her words had all strung together. She paused at the end and took a deep breath. She felt a little bit better now. More comfortable.

Regulus stared at her, arching a brow. "Right... Yeah, I have no intention of dying young, thanks, but I somehow doubt quidditch will be the end of me," he said skeptically, looking at her like she was mad.

"Erm, well a lot of people tend to go to the lake," she says smiling. "Just to swim and play lots of games. Just watch out though, you may get stalkers when you're down there," she says laughing.
