Regulus mounted his broom and hovered above the ground. "Whenever you are," he said, pulling out the snitch and letting it fly off.

Viktor watched the snitch fly off before flying up over the stands. He waited for Regulus
to catch up to his height.

Regulus flew up to meet Viktor. "I will not crash. I will not crash. I will not crash, because I don't think my poor head can handle another injury," he said, smiling at him and leaning over his broom in preparation for the dive, displaying the muscles in his back.

Regulus nearly fell off his broom as Viktor flashed him that last smile, and was all too grateful that Krum had turned around before he saw. Regulus pulled himself together and swooped down after him, putting all his focus into quidditch this time, and not the quidditch player.

Viktor increased his speed and glanced back to
make sure Regulus was close behind. He turned back to focus on the ground and not on Regulus
and his tan. He waited until the last second before pulling up his broom ad hoped Regulus wouldn't crash.

Regulus swerved up just in time, his feet grazing the grass. He'd swerved too far to the right though in his attempt to keep up his speed, and lost his balance, tumbling a foot or two down onto the ground, laughing at himself. "Hey! I didn't crash, at least!"

Regulus took Viktor's hand, a warm, funny feeling coursing through him the moment their fingers met. He grinned happily; he wasn't used to compliments, at least not from anyone who wasn't family, or his mother, in particular. "Thank you! I suppose you're just good at teaching," he said, looking up at him in admiration.

[I have to go next post. I'll be back in an hour or two for the night.]

Regulus noticed that Krum looked slightly flushed, but brushed it off; it was hot out, after all. "Maybe I have a chance of beating you to the snitch at the next game," he laughed, knowing full well that he had no hope of ever doing such a thing. Suddenly he realized he'd never let go of Krum's hand, and did so immediately, blushing furiously again.

Viktor realized how long it took Regulus to let go of his hand and rubbed the back of his own neck awkwardly
before turning back to Regulus and smiling. He had grey eyes. Viktor didn't know anyone with eyes
like that. Stop! You're vith Lily now. She has nice eyes not Regulus. He's a guy. "Ve 'vill see about that. Maybe if you stay on the broom." He shoved Regulus playfully.
