Regulus is too busy trying to not have a heart attack to notice any staring on Tam's part. "N-n-no... Did you tell anyone what you saw?" he asked weakly, knowing full well he didn't stand a chance at trying to make an excuse for it- the truth must have been painfully obvious.

Regulus glares right back at her, though he's about an inch shorter. "Why shouldn't I see him? He's my friend, in case you forgot. And I'm not with Dee anymore, so why is it any of your business?" he growled, still having an internal panic attack that she isn't telling him if anyone else knows.

There's no chance of Dee finding out, unless you- or someone else- tells her," he said, glowering. Regulus is visibly relieved, and is far more thankful then he is pissed at her. "Thank you," he said, knowing he didn't deserve it. "I'm not a liar, Tam. I never meant to lie to her. I wanted to be good for her, I really honestly did! Do you have any idea how horrible I feel about all of this?"

Regulus stared at her. "I'm more likely to wake up as a cockroach one day than come out of the closet, Riddle. But in the event that I do, I promise to tell her first. Not that it'll ever happen," he muttered.
