[we generalise and stereotype all the time, and it's not necessarily either a good thing or a bad thing. It can go both ways... but honestly, how would we define ourselves except to set ourselves apart from what we're not?

i went to one of those for middle school, tam, and UPPER EAST SIDE PRIVATE SCHOOL LEGIT THEY TALK ABOUT IT IN GOSSIPGIRL.
i know ALL about that.
but they're not "cut" to fit the same mold. they are peer pressured into thinking that a certain look, personality, etc. is cool, and then they're all like "oh fuck no one'll like me if i'm not like that" and then everyone's like that.
and that is the tragedy of middle school.

[The forum probably does it automatically to keep the masses of information it has to store to something of a minimum.
Also, I'm glad I wasn't around for this argument. Boys vs. girls arguing boys vs. girls NEVER goes well. And I usually end up a traitor siding with the boys anyhow.]
