Severus scrambles to his feet, irritated at being stepped on, though he knew quite well it was his own fault for forgetting that other people were still up and about, even if he wanted them to all go away. When he saw who it was, he smacked himself in the forehead. Lovely. Just fucking lovely. He stared at Hermione, then Remus, then back at Hermione again. "You," he spat angrily. Even if he'd screwed Pansy over, she didn't know that, and she was still one of his best friends. And what Hermione had done with Draco was wrong. So was what you did with Draco. But Draco and Pansy had broken up when we fooled around last night. You're no better than she is. Yes, I am. At least I didn't hurt Remus the way she did. At least I cared about him. Yeah, you cared. And see what it got you? Nothing. SHUT UP! BACK TO REALITY, BOTH OF YOU! He opened his mouth to say something, but wasn't sure he knew how to react. He was torn between bitch slapping Hermione and throwing himself at Remus, begging for him to take him back. He really was a fucked up mess, wasn't he? Still loving him, still wanting him, after all of this. The resulting sound that came out of his mouth was something between a strangled kitten noise and a "Gnnnrrrrh!"

wow...this is awkward. He tried not to take notice of Sev's obvious discomfort but it was difficult. His first instinct was to flee but that was a cowardly thing to do and he was sick of being cowardly. It didn't mean he wanted a confrontation or a fight but he wasn't just going to run away either. He figured it'd be best for now to just apologize for them almost tripping over Sev. "Sorry about that..." He bit his lower lip and took hold of Hermione's hand, an action he did without even realizing. Her touch meant comfort and right now the awkwardness of the situation was causing him to panic.

Severus glared at the both of them, the pain he felt as Remus took a hold of Hermione's hand surprising himself. Merlin, why do I still care? Why do I still love you? Why, oh why, do you make me agonize over you, every waking moment of my life? Every waking moment your penis isn't up Draco's arse, anyway. Shut up! He dropped his eyes to the ground, and moved out of their way. He didn't want to get into a fight now- he had enough shit to deal with without adding them to the mix. "Sorry," he said, not looking up at either of them. "I'll get out of your way."

The twinge of guilt he feels irks him, he was doing everything he could to get rid of his feelings for Sev, he did not want to be rude to Severus but he also didn't want to be to sympathetic to him. It would not go well anyways.
He took a step to the side tugging gently on Hermione's arm and giving her a 'let's go' look. If he was going to talk to Severus at any point it would probably lead to yelling and he didn't want her involved.

Ignoring Remus, he took a step towards her, still looking at her in disgust. "Really, Hermione? You didn't 'deliberately' go after Malfoy? What, did he trip and land on top of you? Don't give me that shit, slut," he growled barely restraining himself from slapping her. He wouldn't hit a girl, well, at least not a pathetic one like Hermione, but Merlin, he wanted to right then.

His eyes were the color of amber and he could feel his control slipping away as anger took hold of him. How dare he? He has no right to say stuff like that! If he didn't get out of here soon he was going to take hold of Sev and hit him himself. He only hoped his control lasted long enough so things wouldn't come to that.
