He almost snapped feeling his hand start to raise but he controlled himself. He would not hit someone he would NOT. He turned, shaking, to face Hermione, he couldn't look at Sev anymore. Severus didn't hear what Remus said- in fact, he wasn't even aware he was speaking. Hermione's words cut deep; she'd said aloud what he'd known forever, that horrible truth that hurt him so much.
