Dom walks out to the same private spot of the lake that she was at yesterday. Her finger toys with the cigarette in her pocket, though guilt starts to rush through her. She remembers what Katie had said, and wonders if other people would think the same. She sits on the rock, trying to convince herself to not do it.

Dean comes down, craving fresh air. He notices all the other people at the lake and heads for a more secluded spot. His mind was in Hogsmeade, at the Hog's Head. He seems someone out of the corner of his eye and realizes...it's Dom. He freezes and looks at her, a million emotions running through him at once.

Dom's head snaps when she hears someone approach. Her mind slows and freezes when she sees it's Dean. She comes to her senses and quickly pulls her hand out of her pocket and rests it on her lap. "Hi," she says quietly.

"Erm, just...clearing my head," she answers somewhat honestly. In truth, the cigarette would have done just that. She feels as though it weighs a ton as it sits in her pocket, and she begins to feel immensely guilty. "What about you?"

"Same actually. I've been in the castle all day, I needed to get away." He was still in the same spot. "Um, care if I join you?" he knew she probably wouldn't want to be around him, who would really? He had to ask though, there was still hope somewhere deep inside him.

"Yeah, I mean no, I don't mind," she says instantly while shaking her head. She moves over on the rock and makes room from him. "We should...we should talk about...everything," she says quietly.

He goes and sits next to her. He starts sweating slightly from being so close again. "Yeah, we should." he looks at her "I'm sorry for all the things I said the other night."

"No," she says glancing out at the lake. "Don't be sorry. Honestly, I needed you to say those things. I mean, it hurt at the time, but I needed it. I needed to feel the pain for what I'd done."

He shook his head. "It was wrong of me. I know things must be difficult for you. I shouldn't have lost my temper like that. I'm sure the alcohol didn't help me out much either." He looked down and wondered if this was something they could work through.

"How...how much have you been drinking?" she asks cautiously. There was no denying it, he definitely had drank a lot, especially the day in which she had found him in the common room.

He shifts uncomfortably. "Uhh..Do you really want to know?" he looked at her than sighed "I'm sure of the exact amount, but I know it was a lot." he looked down again. He could handle Ange and his friends being disappointed in him, but it was different with Dom. He was ashamed of the memory of drinking when he was with her.

She closes her eyes and sighs. "I'm so sorry Dean," she says then opens her eyes and glances at him. "I fucked up all of your hard work in controlling your drinking."

"No no no no no no no. Don't blame yourself. It was me. I didn't need to drink. That was my decision. Please don't put the blame on you." He unconsciously grabbed her hand while he talked. He realized what he did and snatched his hand back.

"Yeah, but my actions kind of fueled it all," she mumbles, her eyes glancing at her hand as Dean grabs and then releases it. "I don't like... it hurts to think that that's how you are dealing with all this."

He felt horrible, he hurt her without even meaning to. Just by drinking, he hurt her. "Everyone has their own way of dealing with things. Mine just happens to be drinking. I-" he trails off, he didn't want to think about his stupid actions "Dom, how are you dealing with all of this?" he knew it was hard losing something you never had, and figured it would be worse if it were a baby.

She nods her head at what he says, realizing that he was right, as much as she didn't like it. She freezes when he asks her her means of coping. "I...I've just been trying to keep busy," she lies. "You know, working on schoolwork and stuff."

"Some aspects of everything more than others," she murmurs. "It's getting easier though," she says softly, "and hopefully a sense of normality will be reached soon."

He nods "And did you- did you find out who did this to you?" He wanted to know, and hurt whoever it was. HURT THEM BAD!!!

"Yeah, apparently it was Tam," she mumbles then lifts her legs onto the rock and hugs her knees. "I don't know why I was targeted, but apparently I wasn't the only one."

He froze again. Tam?......TAM? He started to shake with anger, he felt like he was seeing red. He said through gritted teeth "Tam did this to you?" he jumped off the rock and started pacing. I thought she was my friend, wouldn't she know that by cursing Dom she'd be affecting me!

"Yeah," she says. She watches as he paces and her anxiety and nerves begin to increase. She takes a deep breath, trying to pull her mind away from the one way she knows she can relax right now. "I haven't seen her anywhere though, so I wasn't able to confront her yet."
