Severus turned a bright shade of scarlet. "Distracted? Who's distracted? I'm not distracted, I'm right here, right now, listening to you, and not staring, not staring at all," he said very quickly, smacking his hand over his mouth at the last words. "I mean... right I HAVE TO GO NOW ALRIGHT BYE IT WAS NICE SPENDING TIME WITH YOU!" he called over his shoulder, running away before Lily could point out the resemblance between him and tomato soup.
