Draco sat up abruptly and threw Sev's hand off his shoulder. "Well it would be fucking nice if she could fucking not go around taking his side and coddling him then! Apparently after his fight with my cousin she took him off to her dorm." He stood up and started pacing. "And what in merlin's name was Zabini fucking thinking? I thought he was my fucking friend!"

Severus sighed, recalling the last time Draco had been raging like this. Unfortunately, there was no way in hell he was using his previous method of getting him to calm down and chill out, Merlin knew how that had ended. "Draco, stop. I saw the aftermath of that fight, she couldn't very well take him anywhere else. What else was she supposed to do with him, leave him there bleeding on the floor? She's not heartless, despite what you might think." He glanced at Zabini's empty bed, and facepalmed. "As for Blaise, I have no words. I'd have murdered him by now but I thought you'd be offended if I didn't leave the joy that'd come from the task for you."

[I'll only be able to respond once more before I have to go to class, I've already skipped that one twice to stay on here, haha. I don't know if/when I'll be able to get on again, I'll be on some time during the day tomorrow when the baby naps or something, and hopefully tonight I'll be able to borrow Matt's mom's laptop again.]

Draco rounded on Sev ready to start yelling again for defending the bitch, but then he had to laugh. Sev knew him too well, "Thanks, I'll let you have whatever's left of him when I'm through."

Severus grinned. "I doubt that'll be very much. But Draco... please, don't just flip out on me, alright, listen to me a minute," he said, pausing to make sure he had Draco's attention. "I know what Pansy did was wrong. She knew it would hurt you, she knew the consequences. But I'm not sure that I can agree that she deserves this kind of hatred from you. You've done things that aren't so different what she did, and you've done worse, as well. She made a mistake, I won't deny that. But she made one mistake, and you made many. Don't you think she deserves a second chance? She gave you more than one," he said, bracing himself for the expected angry outburst.

Draco opened his mouth to yell but then his mind processed what Sev said and he sad down abruptly on Sev's bed. He sat silently for a moment, digesting what Sev was saying. He knew that he'd done wrong cheating on Pansy with Granger of all people. Then that whole thing with Sev. But at least he'd been drunk, what excuse did she have? The more he thought about it the more conflicted he became. She had given him a second chance... but still. He sighed deeply, "I guess she does. I need to talk to her"

"Yeah, you do," he said with a sad smile. He hoped he'd done the right thing, trying to help patch things up between Pansy and Draco- he wasn't even sure of what Pansy really wanted at this point. He'd overheard Blaise yelling the other day, about how he loved her, and he couldn't possibly fathom the conflicted state she must be in. "I'm glad you're back. I missed you. Dorm is boring without you," he said, before he remembered another thing. Jumping up abruptly, he whirled on Draco. "YOU! You evil person thingy! YOU ABANDONED KERBIT!" he yelled, flailing about wildly. "He's lucky he's got me, I've adopted him, so he need not suffer from neglect. You meanie!"

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

But she made one mistake, and you made many. Don't you think she deserves a second chance? She gave you more than one," he said, bracing himself for the expected angry outburst.

Draco looked shocked when Sev first shouted but by the end he was in stitches on Sev's bed. "Sorry! I promise I'll be a better parent to him now! Anyway, tell me why you're in such a good mood. What happened with Lily?"

Severus broke out into another loony grin, his happiness from before quickly returning. "I did something stupid the other day, started yelling at her. Anyhow, somehow in the midst of all that, I told her I loved her, and then she ran away, and I thought she'd hate me forever. But she doesn't. She didn't. She kissed me," he said, trying to refrain from breaking out into song.

[Blaise Zabini]

"No, I did know that, she told me. I just don't know what happened the night she told you," he said, getting up and sitting next to Draco. "I don't know. All I know is that she regrets it. And that she does love you, as much as you love her," he said quietly, putting a hand on his shoulder in a comforting manner.

[Regrets it? .... -is heartbroken-]

[Muffy - Tam - Draco]

"Really Sev, well I'm happy for you then. So are you two a thing now?" Draco wasn't really sure how he felt about Lily but so long as Sev was happy he could live with it.

"Yes, I suppose we are," he said with a smile. "I just never thought this was possible."

Draco stood up, walked over to Sev and hugged him, "I know how long you've wanted this so... Congratulations"

Sev hugged him back, smiling. "Thank you," he said, wishing Draco had this kind of happiness, and knowing he was so far from it. "I think I'm gonna get some sleep, I'm still tired," he said, getting back into bed.

[Muffy - Tam - Draco]

"Mkay, me too" Draco crawled into his bed, "Night Sev" He fell asleep quickly his dreams plagued with images of Panslut.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

[Yeah. Enjoy those dreams. I hope they're nightmares. With snakes and death and baby poop. Because all of those things are scary.]

Draco woke up after only a short nap and decided to head down to sit by the fire.

Severus walks in after his time with Lily, and sees a reply from Cissa. He bursts out laughing- oh Djinn, he loved this girl, she was hysterical, and had us all cracking up on Skype. He leaves the dorm to go look for her or Pansy.

Draco walked up into his dorm, now certain that he wasn't going to let go of Pansy, no way no how. He fell back onto his bed and lay thinking about ways to get her back.
