Viktor grins because the water is more than nice. It's bloody amazing. "Yes. Regulus and I vent for a swim before," he said, still grinning as he absentmindedly rubbed at the marks on his neck.

That's brilliant! It sounds like he's doing really well - you should be proud of him. And of yourself, because it would be so much harder for him without you to lean on.

*She kisses Kiora's cheek and settles her in Viktor's arms, beaming at the sight.*

Viktor's face lights up as he holds little Kiora in his arms. "Hey Kiora," he says in a sweet voice as he gently strokes her cheek with his finger. "She really is perfect, Herm-own-ninny."

That's my girl, you know - got everyone wrapped around her finger already. I don't know where she gets that from, actually. I just know she's perfect.

Viktor looks up at Mya and smiles. "I think I know vere she got it from. How could she not? Vith you and Remus as parents, people are bound to love her."

*Hermione smiles back, then turns her head to contemplate Kiora's face.*

Hmm.... she seems to take after Remus a little more than I, don't you think? I mean, she has my eyes, and I think the shape of my mouth too, but that's definitely Remus' nose. And her hair seems to be getting lighter by the day, so hopefully she'll be spared my mop. And she's a quiet baby by nature, not pushy at all. That's definitely thanks to Remus!

Viktor looks back down at Kiora and smiles. "She is starting to look more like him." He decides not to make a comment about Mya having lovely hair because he's learned by now that it's best not to. "And she is quiet. That must be nice for you and Remus," he says as he gently brushes his fingers along the top of her head, smiling at how soft her hair is. Oh Viktor Krum. Who knew he was such a softie around babies?

*Hermione has another misty-eyed sentimental moment because Viktor Fucking Krum is going all gooey over HER daughter. Years from now, whenever Kiora needs an ego boost, she'll tell her that from the moment she was born, she was wrapping international quidditch stars around her tiny little finger without even trying.*

She makes it very easy to be her mother. I only hope she doesn't take after Remus in the fainting department. I love the flailing, but I don't think I could handle two fainters at once!

I hope she will be. I just want her to have a good life...

*Hermione swallows. School is rapidly finishing and they have so little to their names, nowhere to go, no concrete job prospects for either of them. She hopes like hell Viktor is right, and she's going to do everything in her power to make sure Kiora goes without nothing.*

I hope so... It's kind of petrifying at times, though, to have a whole other life dependent on you.
