Cormac got the broom to the ground and hoisted Penny off in a honeymoon hold type thing. "I missed you."

Fred raced up the lawn, battling those evil invisible people as he ran. He rolled and jumped back up and turned around to look for Nikki.

Nikki thought as she backflipped in the air to kill fifteen invisible people with her pinky toe. "Maybe try..." She swung her lightsaber in an arc. "The Quidditch Pitch?"

"Great thinking!" He jumped up and kicked down a whole line of invisible men. "Let's go!" he shouted, brandishing his sword as he ran towards the quidditch pitch.

Gideon stolled in what he though was a nonchalant manner down to the lake. It being a day since AJ last posted, his uniform and hair was perfect again. Obviously. He sat down, gazing off into the distance somewhere, clearly not focusing on anything.

Polly just happens to be walking by and spots Gideon. She sighs and tries to ignore the icky nervous feeling in her stomach as she walks over. "Gideon?" She wasn't going to sit down yet; if he didn't want her to be around at the moment she'd just have to get back up anyway.

Obviously, Gidoen knew who it was before he saw her. He didn't look at her. "Hi. Nice to see you." His voice was emotionless. Maybe he was overreacting, but right now he was being male and childish and he didn't really care. Also, he knew that if he looked at her he'd want to snog here again; that was clearly not going to solve any problems.

Polly was slightly hurt by the lack of emotion in his voice. She figured she shouldn't have run out but, she couldn't help that she'd panicked. "Look, about zat...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to run out. I've never done zat sort of zing before and I zought I was ready for eet, but I wasn't. So I panicked." Her face was slightly red, and she impatiently wiped away the tears the were pooling in her eyes. "I didn't mean to 'urt you."

Gideon realised that he was probably hurting her with his actions. However, he is very childish. Very childish indeed. ~~AJ hopes he'll get over that eventually.~~ "Well, you did say yes. But I didn't mean to hurt you either." He finally turned to look at her, and saw her wiping the tears out of her eyes, and he stood up. Deep down inside, he hadn't meaned to hurt her. He wanted to hold her hand, to kiss her again, but wasn't sure if she'd let him.

Polly's face has gone all quaffle-y again. "Well, I did say yes didn't I...it felt good...being with you like that..." She squeaked and wondered if that 'Annie's hole' that Luna was talking about a bit ago was deep enough to bury herself in. Right now she just wanted to be in his arms again, but she was afraid to make a move.

He sees Polly go all Quaffley again; it's starting to become a very common sight. "Well, I would hope it did feel good," Gideon murmured, only half hoping she would hear him, "I am a Prewett after all." He took a step forward, and held out a hand for her to take.

Polly totally heard that, but it's okay. She giggles lightly and takes his hand. It felt good to hold his hand again. In general, it felt good just to be with him. It seemed like they'd be able to smooth this awkward moment out at least.

Gideon hadn't realised she had heard him, but whatever. He stroked the back of her hand with the pad of his thumb gently. "Sorry..." he muttered.

Polly smiled. "I'm sorry too. I wasn't thinking clearly." Well, how could she not have? I mean, look at who she was with. She leaned in and gave him a small kiss.

Clearly Polly was a little crazy, running away from Gideon Prewett, and TWICE at that. He leans in a little, trying to prolong the kiss. "You know, I must really like you," he admitted, "you've run away from me twice now." He smirked and posed. "But you keep coming back."

Polly giggles and shook her head. "Well, I'd 'ope you like me. Don't want to be wasting my time, do I?" She tucked some hair behind her ear. "And 'ow could I not keep coming back? I really like you. I just keep doing stupid zings, but I'll try not to from now on."
