Pansy heard another voice, and saw Sirius approaching. Last time she'd encountered Sirius hadn't been exactly... friendly. But it looked like he had the same thoughts she did this time. She slipped down out of the tree, but didn't go over to them, not yet.

Severus raised his wand towards Sirius, and opened his mouth to respond, but then noticed who was standing behind him. It was Pansy. And she looked pissed. And when Pansy is pissed, there is only one thing any logical person should do- run. But Severus was not feeling particularly rational. "Pansy... don't look at me like that," was all he managed to stammer, looking rightfully terrified at her appearance. Sirius was forgotten entirely.

Remus stood up and gave Sirius a warning glare telling him to back off. He was feeling really dizzy at this point and could hardly stand but he wasn't going to let Sirius hurt Sev.

Severus stumbles backwards and falls hard on his ass, taken completely off guard thanks to Pansy. See! She didn't even have to DO anything, just BE THERE, and people were in pain. He clutched his now broken nose and healed it quickly with his wand, but doesn't even try to get up. There was absolutely no way he could take on Pansy AND Sirius. Actually, there was just no way for anyone to take on Pansy, but that was a different matter. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT WHAT HE WANTS!?" he yells, pointing at Remus. Then he saw him- he'd passed out on the ground. He scrambles over to him, horrified, and glares at Sirius. "LOOK WHAT YOU DID!"

"No, Severus. What the hell are you two-" Pansy started, but she didn't finish before Sirius punched him in the face. Normally, this would've made her turn on him, but at this point, she didn't think she really cared anymore. She just stared at Severus as he yelled aimlessly from the ground.

Severus struggles to pick up Remus, glaring angrily at both Pansy and Sirius. Clearly, they weren't real friends. Friends who actually cared about their mates' happiness. He stumbles towards the hospital wing, with Remus in his arms, not looking back.
