Re: Portrait of Wendelin the Weird (Secret Alcove)
[-cries- I'm sorry! I'm too lazy to think of something else! We won't eat the pudding though!... if that helps at all.]
He stepped in closer and whispered into her ear, "A kiss." Then he leaned in and kissed her, his hand coming up to rest just under her jaw bone.

Nikki smiled at the answer, before feeling his lips on hers. When his hand came to rest on her jaw, she reached up to wrap her fingers in his hair.
[Sorry Dee, my lovely triplet. Fred suggested it. Sorry Fred. -snickers-]

[FINE. But no pudding, and no twister. GOT IT? *was very upset...*]
Re: Portrait of Wendelin the Weird (Secret Alcove)
[Got it!]
Fred's lips twitched up into a smile against Nikki's before he broke the kiss. "I think that was satisfactory," he said with a slightly lopsided grin before pulling open to portrait a bit more to let Nikki in. "Ladies first."

Nikki gasped in delight, before jumping over the portrait hole, look Ma, no hands, and walking inside.

Fred laughed for what seemed like the millionth time and followed her inside, closing the portrait behind him. There was a moment of darkness before he muttered a spell that created mid-sized orb of light that floated up to the ceiling, illuminating the room. It was just as bare as before, but he thought Nikki would like it.

"This is so cool! You can do anything in this room! Like flood it and make an ice rink! Or add cushions and make a gymnasium!"

"Flood it and make a what? Or a what?" he asked, his expression clearly showing his befuddlement. "Why would you want to flood it?"

Nikki giggled. "Sorry Fred. It is a Muggle thing. Ways of having fun. Sorta odd, pretty much moving with knife blades strapped to boots on ice."

Re: Portrait of Wendelin the Weird (Secret Alcove)
Fred's eyes widened a tad. "Sounds scary... but fun," he said with a grin. "But for now, there's no water... or pillows," he said.

Fred quirked an eyebrow. "Then it's a good thing there aren't any here," he said.

Nikki pouted. "Me too. Do you know how hard it is to sleep with a blanket as a pillow? Stupid annoying person for telling how I used it as a reeducation device so the person would stop calling me hone..."

Nikki nodded, and sat down, pulling Fred down with her. She cuddled up against. "You are amazing, you know that, right?"

Fred laid his cheek on the top of her head and smiled softly. "You know I could say the very same thing about you. I'm so lucky to have you," he said, for once not joking a bit.

Re: Portrait of Wendelin the Weird (Secret Alcove)
Nikki smiled up at him, lightly running a hand through his hair, before leaning in and bridging the gap between them. She kissed him softly, pulling him closer to herself, before pulling away and taking a deep breath. "You are so incredible." She gave a half smile. "I am being repetitive, aren't I?"

Re: Portrait of Wendelin the Weird (Secret Alcove)
He leaned his forehead against hers thinking how her deep brown eyes were even more gorgeous with the light from the glowing orb above. "I don't mind a little repetition," he said with a crooked smile. "It's good for emphasis. Therefore, I'll repeat myself too. You're sooo amazing. It's a wonder you decided to stick yourself- literally- to me and not some other guy," he said.

Nikki gave him a mischievous smile, before she began to tickle him. She whispered in his ear, "I chose you because you are devilishly handsome!"

He laughed and squirmed even though he wasn't very ticklish- a useful trait sometimes. "Why thank you," he murmured back, smirking his "devilishly handsome" smirk.

Nikki tried to smirk back at him, but ended up just beaming. She stopped tickling him and just lay there, enjoying being with him.

Fred sighed contentedly and looked towards the window which had been filtering light into the room when they arrived. Now it was growing dark. He waited a moment, though it seemed longer, before murmuring, "It's getting dark, you know."

Fred made a face. "That would mean that I should do some work too," he groaned. "But I suppose so. We can't stay out all night," he sighed.
