*walks in*
I'm so tired of going to the library and having Madam Pince down my throat every time... Let's see... *consults list*
*looks around* Wow, completely deserted... *continues looking awkwardly*

Re: The Book Store
Severus waits outside the entrance for Lily, schoolbag slung over his shoulder.

Re: The Book Store
Lily paused near the bookstore, beaming as she spotted Sev. She dashed over, giving him a hug. "Hey Sev!" Her hair was pulled up into a ponytail and she was wearing a knee-length yellow sundress with brown shoes. She tugged on his arm as she started into the bookstore. "Come on! Books await!"

Re: The Book Store
Severus laughed, and let Lily drag him along into the store. "You look wonderful, Lily! Almost as wonderful as the books do! OMIGOSHBOOKSYAY!" he said, running down one of the aisles to look for the new research that had been published in the potions section.

Lily giggled at his excitement. "Thanks Sev! I'll be in the charms section." It was only a few rows over, and quickly found an interesting book on charms and transfiguration for defense and healing that she opening and became absorbed in, fascinated by spell adaptation.

Re: The Book Store
Severus happily collected a rather large stack of books and headed over to where Lily was absorbed in a book, putting his own stack down and sneaking up on her quietly. "BOO!" he exclaimed, tackle hugging her.

"AHH!" Lily nearly shrieked, and jumped, then turned around to face Sev. Her wand was in her hand within a moment of being hugged, then she relaxed and put it back in her pocket. "Sev! Don't sneak up on me like that!" She smiled, and hugged him back. "Silly. I was READING. Look, you made me drop the poor book." She picked up the book, intending to carry it around and at least buy this one if not others. "Tackle-hugs are alright, certainly, but DO consider the books, won't you Sev?" She spied a book on Animagi out of the corner of her eye, and decided to come back for it later. She wanted to read up on what exactly James, Sirius, and Peter were, at some point.

Re: The Book Store
"Aww. I'm very sorry Mister Book Dude. Do you think it needs a band aid? I normally have Pokemon ones, but Kerbit only likes Spongebob," he explained, not realizing that Lily didn't have the slightest clue who Kerbit was or why he always needed band aids from Severus. He grinned at her and pulled out a Patrick band aid and offered it to the book, completely disregarding the fact that it was after all an inanimate object.

Re: The Book Store
Lily looked down at the book and gave Severus a look that clearly said she was worried for his sanity, but smiled slightly. She brushed off the book and looked distastefully at the band-aid. "Er...maybe after I pay for it...I think it's alright though...Just...a bit dirty and a bit wrinkled...er...who's Kerbit and why would ANYONE not like Pokemon?"

Re: The Book Store
"Oh. Kerbit is the chocolate frog Draco adopted. He gets hurt a lot. And I have no idea why on earth anyone would dislike Pokemon, as that is appalling. Kerbit, however, is excused. He just needs proper guidance," he explained, trying very hard not to sound entirely insane, but failing, as he is completely bonkers. "What's the book about anyway?" he said, tilting his head to the side to read the title.

Re: The Book Store
"Er...Um...alright then..." Lily sighed. Crazy friends. As he questioned about the book, she smiled and looked down at it. "It's a book on Charms and Transfiguration, specifically their uses and adaptations for healing or defense magic. Seems absolutely fascinating!"

Re: The Book Store
"You would find that fascinating," he said with a smile. "I know you'll make a great healer. You're so talented, and so caring too. Mungo's will be lucky the day they have you on their staff," he said, gazing into her eyes. She looks nice in yellow. Who am I kidding? She looks nice in everything.

Re: The Book Store
Lily laughed and looked down at the book a moment longer before back at him. "Thanks Sev, though I don't know if that's what i'll try to do as a job...I don't like fighting or anything, healing is just helping if you want to be close to the battle.." She glanced up. "I think i'll pay, and look around a bit more before we go somewhere else. One moment. Oh, and if we get separated, we can meet up in the Three Broomsticks. " She headed toward the counter, picking up the Animagi book on the way, paid for both, and carried the bag with the two books in it beside her as she let her gaze fall on more of the many books.
