"Right," Rolf mumbles while fidgeting to make sure his jacket was lying straight. "I know you said he won't hate me, but what if he does? I mean, was I supposed to go to him to ask for permission to date you first? Was I supposed to ask permission to kiss his little girl? Was I supposed to ask him if I'm allowed to shag his daughter? Was I supposed to be one of those guys that runs to him to get permission for every little detail regarding his daughter?" he rambles.

"Well, first of all, I'm not a little girl," she says with a smirk. "Second of all, calm down. Calm. Down. Er- the shagging? Maybe it's best that you don't bring that up. Just saying. And I can date whoever I want. I don't need to ask permission for everything I do. I'm sure everything will be just fine," she says as she kisses him on the cheek.

He takes a deep breath, then calms himself. "You're right," he says with a small sigh. "I mean, the worst that could happen is he hates my guts and demands we break up. Or, he could kill me on the spot. Hopefully, that won't happen," he says while shaking his head and thinking of how much he would love a future life with Luna where they have two twin boys, that have rape and STD problems, and adopt a little Ethiopian girl. "Yeah, I know you're not a little girl," he says with a small laugh.

Luna smiles and thinks of how much she likes the names Lysander and Lorcan. "I wouldn't let him break us up, and I'm sure he won't kill you. What's not to love about you?"

Xeno walks in like the D.I.L.F. he is and sees Rolf kissing his little girl. Lovely. He walks over and stands by the table, smiling as Luna jumps up to hug him. "Hello there Luna," he says happily before turning back to Rolf. "And you..must be Rolf. Rolf Scamander."

Rolf quickly rises to his feet when Xeno approaches them. "Hello, sir, hi, erm... yes I'm Rolf," he greets quickly, then sticks out his hand to shake Xeno's. He grips Xeno's hand tightly and shakes it a bit enthusiastically for a moment. "Err, very nice to meet you. You have an amazing daughter. Really, truly phenomenal."

"Oh, err," he says while holding out the chair next to him and helping Luna sit down, then moving to sit in his own. "We've been together for about two months," he answers...since in real time it's been about a month or so. He gives Luna a worried glance, then looks back at her intimidating [and sexy] father.

Luna smiles at Rolf and takes his hand in her own under the table before turning back to her father. "Rolf is really amazing, dad. I've never met someone like him before, and we love each other. Er- He reads the Quibbler! He read it before I met him too."

"The Quibbler," he says slowly, buying a moment of time. "The Quibbler is a fine piece of journalism that is not only accurate, but extremely informative as well. My family has read the Quibbler for years, for we find that it is extremely accurate when reviewing my grandfather's collected data and information on magical beasts."

"Err, well...I'm a Ravenclaw student," he says slowly. "I'm a seventh year, like Luna. Err, after getting out of school I plan to travel and research magical creatures around the world. I hope to prove the existence of many creatures that many people claim to be made up. Err...I like...cheese."

"Well first off," he begins while glancing at Luna, "I love her. I hate sounding cheesy and whatnot, but whenever I'm with her, everything is just better. It's like, our views, personalities, behaviour, and beliefs are so similar and I've never met a girl as extraordinary as she is," he says while clasping her hand in his. "I understand that you're protective of your only daughter, but I can assure you that I would never do anything to hurt her. I believe," he says while glancing back at Xeno, "she's my soul mate."

Oh, again with the cheese. "Really now? Is that so? Because other's have told me similar stuff. Sure, it wasn't so drawn out and it didn't sound like something copied from a romance novel but they basically meant the same thing. Why should I think you're any different?"

"Oh...err...well," he says with a hesitant tone while thinking. "I... I suppose technically, you don't know? I mean, I guess that trust will eventually come in time. Err, right? I don't plan on going anywhere, not when I'm this inexplicably happy with your daughter."

Xeno ignores Luna and keeps his eyes on Rolf. "Okay. And are you telling me this before or after you sleep with her? Because I'm guessing afterwards you'll have a different answer after you get what you want, am I right?"

"No! No err...I'd never leave her after we... or...or when we... you know?" he says awkwardly. He thought it would be best to give Xeno the impression that they haven't had sex on a bookshelf or thestral. His mind that freezes when he thinks of the bookshelf and thestral. OH DEAR MERLIN, WHAT IF LUNA'S FATHER IS A LEGILIMENS. He tries to empty his mind from all thoughts of shagging Luna and looks back at Xeno. "It's not...It's definitely not about sex," he pleads.

Luna stands up, still holding Rolf's hand and glares at her father. "Well now you've met," she says coldly. "Rolf and I will be leaving now so I can apologize to him about your rude behavior. I wanted you of all people to like him but I guess that's not going to happen. But I love Rolf, and I trust him so hopefully that'll just have to be enough." She looks over at Rolf and gently tugs on his arm. "Come on. Lets go," she says sadly, wishing this all would have turned out a lot better than it had.

Rolf stands up when she does, a bit shocked at her sudden burst. "Are you sure Lu?" he asks quietly then sparing Xeno a glance. "I don't mind dealing with his questions and quips, you're worth it."
