[haha! the woman in a restaurant asked me if I wanted Tater Tots... I said of course i did and she looked at me strangely.... then I noticed that my dad was eating a tuna salad sandwich... it made my day]

I'm alright... I'm due in about 2 weeks... so almost there *finished her pumpkin juice and gets another, wishing it was a shot of firewhiskey*

He orders a firewhiskey, drinking for the first time in a long time.

She definitely glared at me. But why? I don't understand. What did I do......Does she regret being with me after seeing Tam all pregnant? I won't do that to her. We'll be safe! If....If she wants me anymore......No! Dean stop! What we did was good. It was great actually! I've never felt this way about someone, it was the right thing to do. It made us...closer. But...but what if...what if she really didn't want to do that. I didn't pressure her did I? Oh man, we need to talk this out. I'm just gonna end up freaking myself out for nothing. Stop being such a baby Dean!

Severus enters the Hog's Head quietly, unnoticed everyone save the barkeep. "Aberforth. Whiskey. Now." he mumbles under his breath, thankful for this place. He'd never be able to get anything out of the barmaid at the Three Broomsticks- insane woman, refusing to serve underage wizards. He liked Aberforth. He didn't make small talk, and he didn't check for age or identification. No, it wasn't the cleanest of places, or the most attractive, but it was off the beaten path, and Severus did not want to be found. He didn't know when he'd go back- he knew he needed to, he wasn't stupid- there was no way he was going to drop out before acquiring the N.E.W.T.'s he'd been working towards for seven years. However, there was no way in hell he could stand being in the castle now. How could he face anyone, after being made such a fool? He thought of Pansy, and her drunken words two nights past during the party, her warnings of deception. Why hadn't he taken the caution she'd told him to? One should never disregard Pansy's advice- it never ended well. She'd laugh at him, she'd mock him, for his stupidity, his ignorance. Why had he ever let things get so far, with his eyes shut tight? He didn't know, he didn't care, all he knew right now was that it hurt, it hurt so deeply, and that he needed to escape, if only for a little while.

Aberforth looked at him questioningly, but upon seeing the look on Sev's face he merely shrugged and handed over the shot glass. Severus took one look at the tiny thing, and glared at him. "Right then. How many bottles this time?" the man grumbled irritably, going back behind the bar.

"I don't know. You don't have enough, probably. Here. For a room. Don't know how long I'll stay," he muttered, sliding a few galleons across the table. "It's all I've got for now," he added sadly. It was the last of his money, not that he'd had much to start with. Eileen had tried to sneak him more when he left, but Tobias had prevented her from doing so much as saying goodbye. He sighed, wishing she was here. He rarely missed his mum, but right now, he needed that kind of comfort. He thought about writing to her, but then realized he'd have to explain everything, and even if he did, there was a slim chance an owl would get past his father. She'd never get to read it.

Aberforth grunted in response, and tossed him a key, thrusting two bottles of whiskey into his hands. "Second door on the left. You'll know it's the right one, smells like goat shit." Severus rolled his eyes, but took the bottles gratefully, and headed up the stairs.
