"Cool!" she said. "I wish I had time to do something like that." [we actually did that one time, in 6th grade, and I think I made a mold of a raccoon track we found somewhere in the mud... but it didn't turn out too well 'cause it was, well, mud... lol] "There seems to be more than one animal here..." She shivered. "It's getting late, we should probably head up to the castle, you think?" [unless you had plans here... lol]

[no, not really... haha, but little awkward moments are always great! xD i love awkward moments!] He noticed that Padma seemed really close to him, all of a sudden he felt like the temperature had raised by over ten degrees, but after a second he just ignored it. "Um.. ya" He stuttered. [WOOT! AWKWARD!]

"Umm... what?" Padma turned around and saw that Andrew was WAY closer than she realized. She took a hasty step back, but didn't go too far away from him. A board creaked.

[aww, took a step back? going to break my heart are you?!? xD jk] He saw her freak out a little and step back and said "Uh, um.. Back to the castle?.. we were.. talking about going back." He asked, pointing to the direction of the castle.

[hmmh... im kinda stumped on what to say...] He noticed her looking down, almost disappointed. "Um, we, uh.. don't have to. If you want to hang out or something.." He paused and waited for a second, thinking to himself "Your such an idiot! That was a lame thing to say!"

"Look," Padma said finally, "I'm not a beat-around-the-Whomping-Willow sort of person... This is awkward, but if anything's going to get any better, I have to say it." Her ears turned red. "Andrew, I sorta kinda maybe ended up liking you a lot more than I originally planned... and if I'm not mistaken you feel the same way..." She took a step closer and smiled.

[oh, wasnt expecting that.. xP haha] He stoped for a second, unable to breath. There were now only inch's away. After standing there for a while, looking like an idiot, he finally composed himself. "It's.. possible.." He said, then moving just a little closer to her.

His words didn't match his movements, but she could see the answer in his eyes. Secretly, she was thinking, He's the Gryffindor, shouldn't he be the brave one? Their faces were mere inches apart. She leaned in and kissed him, not wanting the moment to go away.

[....grrrr... ruined it..] He new what would have to come next, but he didn't want to rush, he wanted to make it perfect, and sweet, but he didn't want to scare her by kissing her either, so he paused and looked her in the eyes, but was shocked when she just came forward and kissed him. He almost jumped back, she had surprised him. But he quickly leaned into the kiss, grabing her arm and the back of her head. [I don't know what else...]

In her mind, a thousand tiny Padma-elves were jumping up and down and celebrating. Padma just leaned into the kiss, wrapping her free arm around his neck. Somewhere, one Padma-elf was telling her, The Shrieking Shack? Really? She ignored it.

They continued to kiss for a bit longer, he felt like the world could end now and he would be fine. He then pulled back, he didnt want to but felt that it would be awkward to just sit there snogging for so long. He grabbed her hands and leaned his forehead against hers, waiting for her to say something, because he still couldn't speak, and if he tried it would come out in a mumble of words and ruin the moment.

His eyes opened and he looked up, off in another world, thinking about something, then he grinned and looked back at her. He got really serious and looked her in the eyes. "I love you too" He replied, grinning again, and kissed her again.

Padma was so happy right now she couldn't even describe it. She kissed him for a little bit, then pushed back and said, laughing, "Reckon we should head back now? It's really dark outside."

He reached out to grab her hand, but was too slow, for she had already grabbed his. He smiled, glad to know they were thinking the same thing. He leaded her down the stairs, and stopped half way down. "Were too?" Knowing that he really didn't mind, they could hang out here for all he cared.
