Re: The Shrieking Shack
YAY IT'S THE SHRIEKING SHACK...AND REMUS AND SIRIUS ARE HERE.
Remus has never really liked this building. He appreciates it's use, but that does mean he likes it. "Right.." He looks sickly and sighs. "Well, I'll see you in the morning then?" He jokes lamely.

Sirius sighed and threw his arms around him, hugging him tight. "I'll be with you. Don't you fear a thing. I'll make it all okay."

"I believe you." He hugged Sirius back, smiling. "Alright then, you. Go on out. I'll...well, Wolfy will see you in a bit." He grinned weakly and then lightly pushed Sirius out the door.
And then all that transformation stuff happened that I'm too lazy to write right now.
Wolfy is not happy. No he is not. And he howls angrily, throwing himself at the locked door. He would like to go back to the school now, thank you very much.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Sirius pales as he always does, hearing his friend in so much pain as his body contorts into its lupine form, and transforms into Padfoot. He waits for the moment of silence before the wolf howls, his fur prickling as the sound finally comes, chilling him to his bone. He lets out a low growl, knowing full well showing any sign of fear to the wolf would only result in pain. Finally, he paws open the latch and enters the room, standing as tall as he possibly can, his eyes locking on the wolf. He barks loudly and bows his head in deference, acknowledging his superior before he's ripped to bits.

The wolf quickly senses the other animal and growls, moving closer, sniffing the dog's scent. Then his head jerks up and he spots the open door. Howling he attempts to leap over the dog and run out of the room, all thoughts on his mate and child that he knows are nearby.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Padfoot immediately realizes his error in leaving the door open jumps back to slam it shut, then leaps onto a table and knocks it in front of it, barring the way out and effectively keeping the wolf encaged- with Padfoot. He quickly growls and tackles the wolf, snapping at him threateningly but not at all harming him, as if to warn him off attempting to escape.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
The wolf snarls at his thwarted attempt to escape. He snaps at the dog, catching him sharply on the shoulder, in punishment for preventing him from leaving. Then he leaps at the table, attempting to move it, but accidentally smacks his head on the door. He yelps and leaps back, shaking his head.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Padfoot yelped in pain as the teeth sunk into his shoulder, but he forced himself to shake it off, at least for now, and knock a chair in front of the door to join the table while the wolf was distracted. He then rounded on the wolf, barking angrily at him and baring his teeth, but taking a step backwards, to show he meant no harm. "Arf!"

Re: The Shrieking Shack
The wolf growls and then backs up, crouching down in the middle of the room. He stares back at the dog, not moving, plotting it's next plan to escape. Then he charges at the dog, ramming into him headfirst, hoping to knock him out of the way so he can tear at the table and chair.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Padfoot snarled and yelped in pain again, but rather than fall back to tend his wounds, he was only enraged, and flung himself at the wolf, snapping at his paws angrily, as though scolding a misbehaving child. "Gruuuuff! Woof!"

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Growling in response, the wolf snapped at the dog, warning him to back down. Otherwise it'd be more than a sharp bite on the shoulder he'd be getting. He howled, wanting more than ever to escape the old building and rush to the school.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Padfoot took a step back- in the direction of the door. He'd back down, but he wouldn't let that wolf leave this room- he'd rather be torn to bits than endanger the others, or allow Remus to be exposed. He growled softly, shaking his head no slowly, and wincing slightly at the blood matting his fur.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
The wolf was growing steadily more angry, his grows getting louder and louder. He did [i]not[i] appreciate the dog, or the table and chair, in his way. And he wasn't just going to let them get away with it either. He quickly charged the dog again, a paw quickly swiping him out of the way, and then jumped at the chair. Kicking at it, a leg snapped off of the chair, cutting the wolf's leg and then flying off to hit the wall. The wolf ignored the pain and blood, having eyes and thoughts only for removing the obstacles out of his way.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Padfoot howled as the claws swiped across his chest, leaving him in a pile on the ground for a moment as he attempted to recollect himself. Prongs. Prongs. Need Prongs. Arf. Woof. Wolf. Bad wolf. Bad. Woof. He scrambled to his feet again, stepping gingerly out towards the wolf, afraid for Remus, for himself, for everyone, should he escape. Distraction- that's what he needed, something to take the wolf's mind away from the doorway, if only for a moment- then he spied it- cat. It must have been skulking about before Remus had arrived, before the wolf had arisen- perfect. He bounded over to it, barking wildly with happiness, snatching it with his teeth and tossing it towards the wolf, a necessary sacrifice.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
The wolf turns, distracted by the happy barking. He spots Winnie the cat and growls, snapping it out of the air and...noms it. Ew. But as Padfoot said, a necessary sacrifice.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Padfoot takes the moment of safety to curl up on the ground and lick away some of the blood, vaguely conscious of the fact he'd have to deal with this in human form later. Seeing the wolf devour the cat, he immediately moves to keep its interest away from the doorway and bounds over, attempting to initiate some form of play, despite his injured state. He playfully paws at the wolf, though he whimpers as the blood loss starts to get to him.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Padfoot is relieved, glad that the wolf has taken an interest in game, rather than escape. He barks in a manner reminiscent of laughter, and takes after the wolf, chasing him about the room and snapping at his heels.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
The wolf growls and stops, turning abruptly, and leaps at the dog intending to knock him over again. He misjudges his leap though and runs into an old desk, the corner leaving a small cut on his face. Shaking his head, he tries again, this time managing to knock the dog over before rolling off onto his back.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
The dog yelps in pain once again, and gets back to his feet trembling, when a ray of light finally streams through the window. Padfoot allows himself to collapse on himself in exhaustion and pain finally, now that the danger had passed, and closed his eyes as Remus transformed once more.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
After the transformation back, Remus collapses, feeling weak and dizzy. He looks down to see the cut on his leg and can feel the blood on his forehead from the desk corner. Well, it could have been worse. He looks around and spots Padfoot laying nearby and pushes himself over to the dog. "Hey..." He gently pulls the dog's head into his lap and sees the blood on it's shoulders. "Merlin, I'm sorry, Padfoot."

Padfoot whimpers and slowly transforms back into Sirius, then curls up on himself nursing his chest where the wolf had swiped him, and placed a hand on his bleeding shoulder. "Don't be sorry. It wasn't you."

Re: The Shrieking Shack
"Still..." A quick glare flashes across his face but then Remus lets it go. This really wasn't the time. He'd just apologize a lot later. "Here, let me help you up, alright? We need to get you to the hospital wing." He wasn't in the best shape to move himself, but he'd do it. He was strong and Sirius had helped him all these years; Remus would always be willing to do the same for him.

Re: The Shrieking Shack
Sirius moved to argue, frustrated by this reversal of roles as it was nearly always him to help Remus to safety, but cried out in pain instead. He gestured towards the doorway with his head. "Robes are out there. Gimme a hand, I'll be okay," he said struggling to get to his feet.
