Regulus looks entirely surprised. "He- he didn't mention he was having a kid," he said, looking rather stunned, before grinning at Viktor. "You know, you'd be mad to deny your kid flying lessons from Viktor. He taught me to do the Wronski Feint in two days," he said with a laugh; it was a happy memory.

Viktor smiled again. "I had a great student. I don't know anyvon else who could have learned how to do it that perfectly on the third try."

Well, it was a bit of a surprise, to say the least. The thought of the baby took quite a bit of getting used to, you know. And hey, I never said I didn't want Viktor to teach her to fly - I'd much rather her learn from the best, of course! It's just that I'd very much like for her bones to be fully formed, first.

*She makes a brave stab at small talk, even though it'll always be a Wonky Faint to her.*

Two days? That's impressive!

Regulus smiled proudly, for the first time in months. "Well I had a lot of practice; I used to fly a lot, before," he said a little sadly.

*Hermione keeps smiling at him, even though she notices his downturn in mood, because he seems to be warming to her a little.*

You must be very talented. Well, Viktor said so once, and as far as Quidditch goes, he'd know, right?

*Her eyes flicker to her watch.*

Merlin, is that the time!? Sorry, I've got to go - Remus will be needing a hand with Kiora while he works on an assignment. It was great to meet you, Regulus. And don't forget to finish that cheese off! You too, Viktor - you know it won't be pretty if you cross me on this!

*She gets up, kisses Viktor on the top of the head in a friendly way, waves at Regulus, and heads back to the castle.*

Regulus smiled, turning pink again. "Wonderful," he mumbled, not sure if he was talking about what Viktor had said, or simply the fact that he was here, right now.

Viktor smiled, remembering how much Regulus used to blush when they first met, and kissed him lightly on the lips. He pulls away and gently strokes Regulus' cheek as he talks. "You don't have to eat anymore if you don't vant to."

Regulus nodded and gladly put the apple back down, and rested his head on Viktor's shoulder. "I really do love you," he mumbled, his voice muffled by Viktor's shirt. "I love you, and the way you smell, and the way you feel, and the way you care for me. I love you."

Hermione tells me Regulus is
alright. I'll be back to Hogwarts
shortly- I'm on my way at the
moment. I have some things to
show you that are sure to give
Mya and Remus heart attacks,
that I'm sure you'll be able to
appreciate I'll look for you as
soon as I get there- I assume he
will be with you; I'd be surprised
if you let him out of your sight,
honestly. I'll see you later.

p.s. I really ought to take you on
my motorcycle sometime soon. I
think we'll be able to sneak out on
the next Hogsmeade weekend. I
have to say- damn, did I miss this
thing while I was at Hogwarts. You

Regulus reads it, unsure what to say- did this mean Sirius actually wanted to speak to him? He hugged Viktor, still confused. "Who's Hermione?" he asked, not putting it together with Herm-own-ninny in his head. "And oh Merlin, that's no fair! He's never let me on that motorcycle!" he exclaimed as he finished reading the short note.

Viktor laughed. "You never know. He might let you on ven he gets back -after me of course. I get to go first," he said with a sexy smirk. He tilted his head in confusion. "Herm-own-ninny? You just met her."

Regulus burst out laughing and hugged Viktor. "Another thing I love about you- your accent. Poor girl, do you always butcher her name?" he teased, smiling up at him brightly. "Viktor- is he mad at me?"

Regulus hugged him tightly and looked sad. "I know you said to trust you, so I do. But it's still hard to imagine that he cares, after all he's said to me," he said quietly, looking rather pathetic.

Regulus shrugged and clung to him. "I don't know him at all. I used to, a little. But he never even tried to get to know me. He just assumed I was the same as everyone else. Maybe I am, I don't know. But it hurts that he didn't try."

Viktor really isn't sure what to say considering he's never had any siblings so he just holds Regulus tighter. "I don't think you're like everyvon else. Ven he gets here you'll see. Everything's going to be different now. I promise."

Regulus sighed and kissed him on the cheek. "I hope so," he mumbled into Viktor's chest, then stood up. "We've been out here long enough, let's go back inside," he suggested, not really wanting to meet any more of Viktor's motherly friends.
