Fleur's Secret Underwater Cove

It's her secret spot in The Lake.
The only people who know about it at the moment are: Fleur and Cedric.

Fleur walked to the edge of the lake and transfigured her clothes into a two-piece bathing suit before diving in and swimming down to the entrance of the cove. She climbed out of the water and leaned against the cold walls where her drawings were, tears of frustration stinging her eyes. Had he really thought all of that all along?

Cedric reached the lake and transfigured his robes into a bathing suit. He jumped in the lake and swam to Fleurs cove. He pulled himself onto the rocks and looked around, spotting her crying. "What's wrongs?" He asked, alarmed and instantly hating Sirius.

Fleur turned her head away and wiped the tears from her eyes, "It's notheeng. Sirius and I are done and 'e certainly 'ad a lot of theengs on 'is mind about me..." She frowned, "'E said awful theengs about people I care about. I 'ope 'e didn't mean any of zem..."

Cedric hurried over to her and hugged her. "I'm sure he didn't, he was probably just hurt." He assured her, thinking about what he could do to hurt Sirius as much as he had hurt Fleur. "You'll probably make up soon." He tried to convince both of them.

Fleur sighed as she rested her head on his chest, "I don't theenk 'e was though. At least, for some of it," She tilted her head upwards to look at him, "I'm not even sure I want to make up with 'im. 'E basically called me a liar and zen 'e called you a spare. 'E even 'ad zis tone when 'e said your 'Ouse's name. You 'Ogwarts students and your 'Ouse prejudices, I'll never understand..."

"Don't worry about it then. You don't need him." He paused for a moment, then corrected himself "we don't need him." He smiled.

Fleur smiled up at him. She didn't know how to express how happy that made her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tight. She didn't need Sirius any more. All he had ever done was hurt her. She deserved to be happy and Cedric made her happy. She didn't care if he was a 'spare' or not.

Cedric swam up into the cove and pulled himself onto the rocks. He looked around, glad to find Fleur there.

Fleur turned and smiled. She had been carving more pictures into the cove's walls. She put the materials down and walked over to hug him, still worked up over everything with Dom and Sirius.

"Hi," he said, surprised at her greeting. "whats going on?" He asked, hugging her back tightly.
[We can assume this happens after your fight with Sirius?]

Fleur frowned and pulled back slightly, "I got into anuzzer fight with Sirius after 'e kissed one of my closest friends. It's not worth talking about, really..."

He looked down at her, anxious. "If you're sure..." He was starting to be happy that he hadn't yet met Sirius. It saved him from the temptation of hurting him.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

Fleur shook her head, "'E's definitely not worth it. If 'e's going to act like zat, zen I just won't talk to 'im. 'E's being silly..." She looked up at Cedric, smiling, "'E's not anytheeng like you. 'E's very childish."

"He is probably just jealous of me." He said, laughing. He turned his attention to the wall, "what are you carving on there?" he asked, taking a few steps closer.

Fleur looked back at the drawing, "Notheeng, really. It's just ze castle and ze grounds. It's not very good, I 'aven't done ze details yet," She followed him over and looked at it closer. She wasn't too pleased with it at the moment. She glanced over at him, and laughed, "You're probably right about 'im. You're 'is biggest competition at ze school."

He looked over his shoulder at her, grinning, "He can have the attention, I don't mind." he said before turning back to the carving. Now that he looked closer he could make out the castle and the lake they were currently in.

Fleur couldn't hide her happiness from that comment, "I'll give you all ze attention you need!" She smirked and picked up the carving supplies, "You want to try it? It's quite fun, actually."

"Oh, no" he said, backing away. "I'll probably ruin it, I've already told you what a terrible artist I am."

"You don't 'ave to 'elp with ze castle one, you can start your own!" Fleur laughed, "It's 'ard when you first start, but it gets better."

"Oh," he said, smiling. "Well, I think I'll leave you to your art, and I'll stick to Quidditch."

Fleur flashed him a look, and shook her head smirking, "Well, alright. If zat's ze case, do you want to 'ang out somewhere else? I don't want you to get bored 'ere..."
