He thought longingly of a nice place by a fire. "It's too bad we're in different houses, I could really use some time to relax."

Fleur bit her lower lip, "Zere's notheeng I can do about zat, sadly..." She realized they wouldn't be able to sit by the fire in the Gryffindor Tower either. That disappointed her, slightly. She looked back up at him, "I don't know where else to go for zat, I'm sorry."

"How about we go to the library? At least it will be warmer in there."

"Okay!" Fleur hadn't been in the library in awhile, so it could be fun. She walked over to the edge of the cove and dived into the water, swimming back to the lake's edge. She transfigured herself from her bathing suit into her normal clothes and dried her hair. She waited for Cedric, so they could leave together for the library.

Cedric dove into the water and quickley reappeared on the shore of the lake. He transfigured his bathing suit back into his clothes and took Fleurs hand as they made their way up to the library.

Cedric swam down to the cove and climbed out of the water. He took a step towards the carvings on the wall and noted sadly that Fleur had yet to finish them. He sat down a leaded against the wall, closing his eyes and thinking of everything that had happened. He wished life was still as simple as it was the last time he was in the cove.

Fleur had walked over to the edge of the lake and transfigured her clothing into a bathing suit. She dived into the water and swam to the secret cove, hoping to finally finish the carvings she had abandoned. She climbed out of the water and used her wand to dry her hair before she noticed Cedric and froze. Her back stiffened and she felt the need to turn and dive back into the water. She hadn't talked to Cedric in awhile and they weren't exactly...anything, really, since she had hurt him, "Um, 'ello?" She said, not being able to think of anything else.

Cedric looked up quickly and saw Fleur. "Oh," He said, standing up, "I was just..." He trailed off. What was he doing down here? He wasn't even sure. "What are you doing here?"

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

"Well, um, zis was where I came to - " She pointed at the walls of the cove behind him and heat rushed to her cheeks, "I didn't theenk zat anyone would be 'ere. I almost forgot zat I 'ad shown you zis place."

[Cedric Diggory - Inactive]

He smiled, "I just noticed that you didn't finish. I can leave if you want..." He gestured to the water but didn't really want to leave. He realized he wasn't angry with Fleur anymore. Maybe, he thought, we could just be friends?

"No, eet's fine, I theenk I just - um - I didn't expect eet." She bit her lower lip and moved around him to the carving tools. She knelt down and searched through them for the right one, "If you, err, want to leave zen you can."

[Cedric Diggory - Inactive]

He stayed where he was. "Look, about... what happened. I shouldn't have said those things to you. I feel really bad about it." He ran a hand through his hair nervously.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

Fleur turned around once she had picked up the carving tool she needed, slightly stunned, "Oh," she paused and shifted back and forth from her heels to her toes, "I theenk your actions were justified, Cedric. I shouldn't 'ave acted zat way. I don't know if I even deserve zis apology from you, since you 'ave notheeng to be sorry for. I am ze one 'oo is sorry..." she smiled and it was faint, but still genuine.

He returned her smile, "Okay... So do you think we could be friends then? I have too many people hating on me at the moment." He half joked. What, between Louis, Dee and, come to think of it, probably Cho he figured he could use a few people on his side.

"Sure!" Fleur replied, happy to lose another hater, "I know what you mean. Zere is... or zere should be by now...a Fleur 'Ate Club. I am not ze most popular amongst ze people 'ere..."

"We hated people should ban together." He smiled, glad to have someone back on his side. "So what have you been doing?"

"Um, notheeng, really," She shrugged and folded her arms, feeling a little awkward, "Eet 'as been only keeping up with schoolwork for me. See, I 'aven't wanted to socialize much...'Ow about you?"

He laughed, "I don't know. So much has happened but sometimes it feels like nothing has. That's good though, none of it is good stuff."
