Scorpius glares at Cormac. He's tempted to go up to him for arguing with Faye, but knows that Faye can take care of herself. He watches as she leaves the room and sighs. He then sees Cormac fall on Penny, and is curious as to how that would work out.

Faye returned after thinking that Cormac was gone. She sighed in relief when he wasn't there and returned to her armchair with a Muggle magazine in hand.

Faye looked up at Penny from the pages of the magazine, "My day? It was alright. Pretty good. Not much else happened," She resisted glancing over at Scorpius. She didn't think she should tell Penny yet. Hopefully, Scorp would understand.

Faye looked over at Scorp and froze. What had happened between the two? She looked back over at Penny, "He's not that awful you know...." Her voice trailed off and she tilted her head, "And what happened when he tried to apologize?"

Scorpius feels Penny and Faye's gaze on him. He tries to ignore it, so he picks up a paper that was lying on the table and starts to read it. He wasn't really reading, but rather listening; straining his ears for any bit of conversation he could pick up between the two.

Faye bit her lip and felt a little queasy. How does one try to keep this thing a secret? She leaned back in her armchair and curled her legs up onto the cushion, "Who do you have in mind? I thought you wanted B. Is that still happening?"

"Well, erm...I was trying to see if Cormac needed help, cuz he was pretty beat up, he said he didn't, but when he got up he sort of, er, fell on top of me...and well, i don't know. it's probably nothing." she broke off, biting her bottom lip
