Scorpius enters the common room after showering and getting ready for the day. He glances around and sees Faye, Penny, Dee, and Flint. He scratches the back of his neck, unsure if he should approach the group. Deciding to throw caution to the wind, he slowly approaches the group. "Hello all," he greets, slightly worried as to how Penny is going to react.

Faye flipped through the pages of the Daily Prophet, finding none of it as interesting as she hoped. She folded it and set it back down on the table just in time to see Scorp enter. She smiled, "Hello Scorp!" She bit her lip, turning away, remembering Penny.

"Hi Penny, Dee, Flint," he greets. "Hi Faye," he says offering her a small smile. He felt reassured by her smile that she had no regrets on what had happened last night. "Everyone well?" he asks.

Faye looked over at Penny, whose attention seemed to be all on Flint at the moment. She shrugged and replied to Scorp, "Yes. I slept well last night," She smirked.

"Really," he answers fighting a smile. "I slept pretty well last night too," he says while sitting down on the couch.

Faye eyes widened in fake surprise, "Oh, really?" She held back her laughter, as best as she could, glad that Penny was busy with Flint and not paying attention. She picked up the Daily Prophet and opened it, covering their faces, "Look at this story..." She muttered.

"oh. umm I suppose that could be fun" she smirked slightly. she had slightly hoped maybe she would see Cormac, but she DID need a date, and Marcus seemed cool enough. she would probably see Cormac at the gala anyway

Scorpius glanced at her curiously, looked over the edge of the paper towards Penny and Flint cautiously, then moved his head instantly. "Hmm, very interesting," he murmured as if he was reading it.

"It says here..." Her voice faded as he leaned in closer and she took his chin into her free hand, turning his face to her. She kissed him once lightly, smirking the entire time, before she pulled away. She couldn't let Penny become suspicious. She removed the newspaper and acted as if nothing had happened, "So, you see, yeah..."

"Yeah," Scorpius breathed, fighting another smile. "That's quite interesting. I wonder what they'll be doing with all the kneazles." He jumps slightly when he realizes that there is another girl on the couch, his attention having been focused on Faye. "Err, hi," he greets.
