She laughs. "The brewery's upstairs." She points toward her dorm. "Didn't wanna go get some." She leans against the pillow. She must have had three or four by then. It didn't faze her though.

"Good to know," he replies smiling. "But I probably shouldn't have any more tonight. Don't wanna do something stupid."

[*cries* I should go. Have to get up on time today.]

"Yeah..." She looks at the bottle, still depressed and stands up. "I think I'll just go to bed now. See you tomorrow." She slowly goes upstairs.

"Good to know," he replies smiling. "But I probably shouldn't have any more tonight. Don't wanna do something stupid."

Regulus walks in, looking pissed as hell, and bleeding profusely. He's well aware that by the next morning half his face will be purple, and he can feel his eye swelling shut. He barely notices anyone and stalks off to his dorm, looking like he might break the neck of the first person to speak to him.

Faye entered the common room, still in her ball gown. Her hair had been let down and was untidy. She looked over and saw Scorpius and heart thumped in her chest. Right after Gellert? Really? Just my luck...

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius glances up when the common room door opens. He sees Faye entered and recalls his conversation with Dee. He thinks for a moment before saying, "You look really nice," then talking a sip of his drink.

The comment about her appearance made her feel even worse about everything, "You must be blind. Have you been drinking?" She looked awkwardly to the side and her hand went up to her insanely messy hair.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"A bit," he answers sheepishly, "But I don't think that effects how I see you. I noticed it before I started drinking."

[Claire McCann]

"Oh," She bit her lip and moved over to sit an armchair somewhat near him. She cleared her throat, "So - um - did you have fun at the ball?"

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"Not really," he admitted as calmly as possible and tried to keep his tone gentle and not accusing. "You seemed to be having fun though."

[Claire McCann]

"I'm sorry about that," She flushed when he mentioned that she seemed to have had fun. What could he mean by that? He wasn't down there just now, was he? She looked over at him, "What do you mean?"

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"I saw you dancing with Black," he said remaining as calm as possible when it came to Black. "You're a good dancer, like you said you were."

[Claire McCann]

"I didn't choose to dance with him, Scorpius," Faye sighed, relieved knowing it wasn't about Gellert even if she did have to tell him soon, "He came up behind me. He didn't have the decency to ask." She paused and she tilted her head to the side, puzzled, "Thank you..."

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"I see," he says running a hand through his hair. "I think I'm going to go to bed. I just, I wanted you to know that I'm sorry. Everything I said to you earlier, wasn't fair to you and it wasn't fair to Gellert. I realize now that I should just trust you and stop throwing his name in your face. I mean, if something was going on with him, you'd tell me and wouldn't lead me on like you did," he says while standing up and heading towards the stairs. "It's just," he says pausing and turning to face her. "It's not about sex. I realize now that even if all I can do is hold you, that'd be okay," he says while turning around and heading towards the stairs again.

Marcus leads Penny into the common room and sits on the couch with her and kisses her passionately.

"Stop. Stop talking about me like that. I'm not like that at all," Faye's tears stung at her eyes. She couldn't move herself from the armchair. She was afraid of moving towards him, because she knew he wouldn't want any of those things from her anymore, "I thought you were using me. Oh, why couldn't you have said this before? Why now?" Delirium was taking over. She rambled her thoughts and couldn't form a coherent sentence, "I did do something. I did - and you shouldn't have - and I'm sorry....You shouldn't have put your trust or your faith in me."

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius glances at Flint and Penny who barge in through the door and then back to Faye. "Right," he mumbles, unable to look at her. "I see. Gellert?" he questioned in a low tone.

She didn't know whether to be upset about the surprising lack of response or that Penny had just barged in and was making out with Flint in the middle of their conversation. Angry with herself for crying, she wiped the tears away with her hands, "Yes..." She muttered, "Please, Scorp, listen," She moved out of the armchair and around the couch with Penny and Flint happily on it.

Penny sits up after a while, and noticing Scorpius and Faye whispers, "Perhaps we should go to bed. we might be intruding"

Flint notices people in the room. "Ohhhhh, my bad. We'll be leaving now." Flint helps Penny up and walks her over to the door to her dorm and kisses her goodnight. "Goodnight Penny. I'll see you tomorrow"

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"I...I don't know Faye," he said looking at her in disbelief and slight pain, while taking a step backwards away from her. "I don't know what you could say that could make me feel better right now."
