There are no embarassing Severus stories, NONE!" he said with a laugh, looking at Lily and trying not to just turn into a puddle of mush. "Lily, you look... I don't think I have a word, because even pulchritudinous doesn't cut it," he said honestly, turning slightly pink.

Lily laughed again, and shrugged, blushing a bit and glad that the lights and bit of makeup probably helped hide it. She didn't want Sev's date to think she was trying to steal him away, because she wasn't.
"You're too kind, Sev. Thank you though...new dress and all, I wasn't sure. " She turned to Cissa. "Your dress is lovely, positively stunning." She attempted to draw the attention away from herself, however much of a failed attempt it might be.
