Sirius wasnt thinking straight anymore. He was trying to think of some way to choose when he glances over the railing. He decides that he is going to jump and if he lands to the right of the whomping willow he would chose Katie...The left, Fleur. He gets up and stands on the railing. 1,2,3! Sirius jumps. When he reaches the ground he sees the faint outline of the whomping willow right across from him, of course he would have landed in the middle. He passes out.
