Faye had smiled when he had said it was alright. She found herself thinking that if Teddy and Scorpius had talked and nothing disastrous had occurred, then maybe everything would be happier. The smile gradually faded when Scorpius continued and the hope melted away, "That's not true! I only go to the dungeons to smoke and I talk to Reg and Teddy, but it's not because I don't want to be with you! Don't believe that..." She reached her hand towards him for comfort, trying to catch his gaze. She bit her lip at the 'first choice' comment and looked away for a moment, "I, um, I know I may not have chosen you that one time...." She brought her gaze back to him, "But you're my first choice now and that's not going to change. Please. I don't talk to Teddy in depth about how I feel about you. He's trying to get into your head, I think," The last part hit her like a cement block. She and Teddy were supposed to be friends and he had said that about her. She thought he had been different than the other Gryffindors he hung out with, judging the Slytherins. A lump grew in her throat and she thought her eyes grew a little watery, "W-Why would he say that? I thought...was he lying?"

"I know, he was just trying to get to me," he answers. "Faye, I'm...I'm sure he was lying. His jab at you, was uncalled for, but I think he was just saying it to anger me and to once again try and mask his feelings." He glances at her and notices how visibly upset she is by the information he has given her. "Hey, I'm...I'm sure it'll work out alright," he says reluctantly, though he would prefer that Teddy stayed away altogether. Seeing that this doesn't improve the mood at all, he moves over on the couch so that he is able to offer her physical support for her emotions instead of words of comfort.

"I think he truly believes it. He and I are still in that fight from when I confronted him. Why did I think he would be any different? He's like everyone else. I shouldn't have trusted him with anything..." Faye hung her head and immediately wanted to find Teddy and yell at him. She wasn't strong enough yet, though. She still felt incredibly hurt from him calling her a bitch, "Maybe I won't want to work it out. Maybe Teddy will realize the real mistake he made by trying to keep everything locked away," She mumbled, wishing that it would console her. The truth was, she had lost a friend whom she had thought valuable to her. She remembered Regulus saying that Teddy had better not make more mistakes. Well, Teddy had just made a huge one.

Scorpius doesn't know what to say in response. Part of him felt annoyed, angry, and extremely pissed that Teddy's actions had led to this. Another part though, felt slight relief. "I'm sorry Faye, you don't deserve this. I should have just kept my mouth shut yesterday and then my mouth shut today. Apparently I have fucking issues with controlling what I say and when I say it."

"Shut up, no you don't," Faye muttered. She tilted her head up towards him and smiled, "None of this is your fault. It all would have come out eventually and I'm glad it's out now. It would have been far worse if I hadn't learned about this til later..." She looked around the common room and sighed. She wondered, again, where Penny could possibly be. She loved talking to Scorpius, but she didn't know if he would be eager to give her advice on the Teddy situation since he was biased. Instead, she leaned into him, not wanting to move even though it was getting late.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right," he says with a sigh. "Why are you usually always right?" he teases looking down at her and then wrapping his arm around her as she leans into him.

"Maybe, despite what any professor might claim, I am actually a genius," Faye smirked up at him and shook her head, "I think you'll find you disagree with that statement for some things..." She muttered, thinking about her smoking and Gellert. She pushed those thoughts away and closed her eyes as she rested against him, "Why do you think we're the only couple in Slytherin who don't need sex to be happy?" She didn't know where the question had come from. She had just thought about it.

He stiffens slightly at the question, for it throws him completely off track. "Err, I dunno," he admits honestly. "I mean, maybe it's because of how we used to be. We don't want a relationship to be like all the past...liaisons that we've had. I mean, don't get me wrong, it was amazing and I can't wait to do that again, but it's not what we're focusing our relationship."

Faye nodded, not knowing if that was completely reassuring, but it made sense. She didn't think of anything else to add to that, "I think you're right. I don't know when we'll do that again. The first time was unbelievable, but I don't think we should try to be like those couples who think it's necessary. I believe that we can find other ways to make our relationship, um, last." She felt a twinge of awkwardness hit her and blushed, "Sorry if that question bothered you...Maybe we should go to bed. I think I'm asking these due to fatigue."

"It's okay," he replies. "It was a good question, considering our past," he mumbles. "But you're right, it is rather late." He gently moves her so that she isn't leaning on him, and then pushes himself up off the couch. He holds his hand out for her to grab and pulls her up. He then smiles. "I'm guessing this falls under the 'repetitive' caterogy," he says with a small laugh realizing how often they've said goodnight like this.

"Yeah, but this isn't something I mind being repeated," Faye took his hand as she had done for the previous nights, and repeated the same walk over to the stairs. She stood up on the first step and looked him in the eye. She leaned in and rested her forehead on his, not wanting to say goodnight too quickly. She bit her lip and continued to beam at him, "I promise we will hang out tomorrow. During the day this time."

"Good," he says smiling. "And no common room or lake," he adds. "I'll try and think of places we can go." He moves his lips to hers, kissing her gently. Pulling back, he rests his forehead back on hers and whispers, "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Mhm," Faye managed to say before she felt his lips on hers. She kissed back softly, wishing she didn't have to head up to bed so soon. She sighed, "I'll see you tomorrow." She stood frozen for a moment, before she reluctantly turned and headed for her dormitory.

Flint walks down to the common room with an angry look on his face. He sits down on the couch, and kicks his feet up on the table in a non-happy/pleasant way.

Djinn struts into the room, after having gotten to smack Joel twice! IN ONE DAY!! He was utterly and completely euphoric until he looked around to have his Shadow do something, only to notice...it wasn't there! Walking over to his corner where the pentacle and runes were still drawn amidst the cobwebs he started to chant. This time, he'd get a demon of a higher order to be his shadow and then MAYBE it wouldn't be killed by that disgusting human jello thing.

Djinn looked over at Tom and gasped. OHMYROWLING. Tom Riddle in the flesh! Standing up, with Shadow in tow he walked over to Tom and held out his hand. "Hi there, Tom M. Riddle. I'm the God of Hogwarts, Djinn." He smiled and grinned and flashed his fangs and silver eyes.
