[I am rereading all the stuff from last night and DYING of the bad grammar and whatnot. Dean and I were hilarious xD]

Remus was on a walk and sat by a tree at the edge of the forest. He slightly remembered coming down here last night. Flower magically appeared, because she hasn't been around in ages haha, and Remus smiled. "Hey there." He picked Flower up and set her in his lap. She nibbled at his fingers then plopped down to stare out at all the stuff around them. He closed his eyes and leaned back against the tree. His headache was slowly going away, thank goodness. A bit later Flower twitched and squirmed trying to get off of his lap. He looked down at her just as he heard a branch or something snap in the forest off to his left. Knowing what sort of animals could be in the forest, he held tightly to Flower so she would go bounding off and get caught. He listened intently, tilting his head to the side a bit so he could hear better. The animal got nearer and he caught the scent of wolf. The memory of last night came back to him, hearing the howling and him trying to get to the other animal. "Ack, Flower it's alright. I won't let him hurt you." He placed the wriggling rabbit up on his shoulder, keeping a hand up to hold her there, and waited to see if the wolf would come out of the forest. A moment later the animal appeared at the edge of the trees and caught sight of him. Curiosity was in it's eyes, knowing that the human by the tree was not like it but he sort of smelled like the other wolves. It took a few steps closer and sat down, staring intently at the human.
Remus sighed and decided now would be a good time to send Flower off. Especially if the wolf decided to get any closer. He wasn't ready to go in yet himself and, seeing as the wolf was just curious and not planning on attacking any time soon, he would just stay here. He magically sent Flower away because he's awesome like that, and sat back down by the tree leaning against it. Closing his eyes he tilted his head back against the tree but kept his ears alert, listening for any movement the wolf made. A few moments later the wolf got up, seeing that the human that smelled like him wasn't going to attack anytime soon, and moved slowly closer. Remus listened to the wolf's slow footsteps getting nearer and he slouched down the tree keeping his head tilted up, exposing his throat, to show that he meant no harm and was being submissive. He opened his eyes when he felt a cold nose nudging at his hand. The wolf sat down beside him and kept nudging at his hand until Remus reached tentatively up and scratched behind the wolf's ears. It seemed to approve of this and laid down next to him, allowing the scratching to continue. Remus smiled. Well, at least he's friendly. He continued scratching behind the wolf's ears, hearing a light humming sound coming from it's throat. Remus almost laughed, he knew he did the same thing when Hermione rubbed the back of his neck. Which was sort of embarrassing but worth it because the neck rubbing really did feel nice. Time wore on and Remus felt himself slightly drifting off to sleep, his hand slowly coming to a stop behind the wolf's ears. The wolf whined and gently butted it's head against Remus' stomach, demanding he continue. He laughed. "Okay, okay. Demanding little thing aren't you?" He smiled and went back to scratching behind the wolf's ears. This sort of reminded him of some of the times when the Marauders would be hanging out and Sirius would be in dog form. He'd lay next to them and demand they either scratched behind his ears or rubbed his tummy, getting annoyed when they stopped. And then the times after a particularly bad transformation and he'd be in the Hospital Wing, and Padfoot would curl up next to him, or at least nearby, and Remus would gently rubbed his back or scratch his ears. It was always comforting for him. And that I just made up, although I could totally see it happening anyway. Deal with it. Haha. Remus missed that. Those times when they'd just hang out, no drama or anything, just having fun. Of course, things would get complicated as they got older. That was life. The wolf's head twitched on Remus' stomach and it let out a light snore. Remus let his hand rest on the back of the wolf's neck and he slowly drifted off to sleep himself.

[I was bored and wrote all that. yay what fun!...OH NO I FORGOT THE CHOCOLATE!!!! HE WAS SUPPOSED TO VISIT WOLFY AND BRING CHOCOLATE!!! Oh well!! *flails* Okay I'm off to get dinner. hahaha]

*Hermione wanders down towards the Forbidden Forest, looking for somewhere new to go for a walk that wouldn't be too crowded. She should really be in the Library studying, but because Remikins wants to take a break from cleaning she decides to take a walks first. She spots a figure leaning against a tree - it looks almost like someone having a nap with a dog curled up next to them. She moves closer, curious, and her eyes widen in her rapidly paling face. That's Remus, and that is most definitely NOT a dog. In one of the biggest cliches of all cliche-dom, a twig snaps under her foot and she stops dead.*

Remus is jerked out of his nap hearing a twig snap. Which is quite one of the biggest cliches of all cliche-dom. The wolf's head snaps up and it growls at whoever was intruding upon their sleep. Remus rubs the wolf's ears and turns to see Hermy-G. "Oh! Hello..." The wolf whines when Remus gets up and brushes his clothing off. There's wolf hairs on his robes and Remus sighs looking down at the animal. "You shed, you know that? You got hair all over my clothes!" The wolf rubs its snout on Remus' hand then glances over at the other human, growling slightly again. "Stop that! She won't hurt you, you silly thing." Remus taps the wolf sternly on the head. It moves and sits in front of Remus, blocking Hermione from coming any closer.

*Hermione has no intention of coming any closer, because whatever affinity Remus may have with the wolf, it's still a wild animal and totally capable of ripping her throat out. So yeah.... she's quite happy keeping her and her unborn SON at a distance. Her eyes flicker between Remus and his new friend.*

Damn. I was hoping you'd forget about that...

"I hadn't really remembered until this guy showed up. I was just going on a walk after showering and decided to rest over there. He showed up and demanded that I scratched his ears." Remus smiled and reached down to pat the wolf's head. The wolf watched Hermione intently, wondering if she was going to be a threat or not. The male human didn't seem afraid of the newcomer, but the newcomer definitely seemed a bit nervous. The wolf whined and laid down. "What? You want to say hi?" Remus sat down next to the wolf, rubbing its back. "Hermione's friendly. You don't need to worry." Wolfy got up and moved closer to Herms then rolled over on it's back, gazing up at her.

*Hermione tries really hard not to panic when the wolf moves closer, and then rolls over. She looks up at Remus, her eyes wide and uncertain, but he seems perfectly at ease with the wolf. She takes a deep breath. Her first instinct is still to run, but she stamps it back. After several long moments, she takes a couple of steps forward. Slowly, she extends her left hand towards the wolf's nose to let him scent her, figuring that if he was going to turn nasty, she'd much rather lose her left hand than her right. She speaks softly.*

Wolfy nudges her hand and whines again, demanding that she rubs his tummy. Remus chuckled to himself and got up, moving to sit over next to the animal and Hermione. "See! I told you she's friendly. But you weren't going to listen to me were you?" The wolf hops up and tackles Remus, knocking him over and licking at his face. "Ack-someone's in a playful mood!" He wrestled with the wolf then finally managed to push him off. Wolfy barked at him then ran behind Hermione, nudging at the back of her legs.

*Hermione muffles a scream when the wolf tackles Remus, and they start to wrestle. She can't believe how much she's going to kill Remus for putting her in this position, and she lets out a little whimper of surprise when the wolf runs at her and nudges her from behind, sending her to the ground. She rolls over and scrambles back towards Remus, staring up at the wolf and trying to remind herself that he hasn't attacked either of them.... yet....*
