George walked in with Dee and grabbed a gnome. "So, shall we test it?"

"Yep." She pulls out some water and dumps the powder in. "Now we have to see if he floats."

George holds the gnome out at arms length and tries awkwardly to pour the water in. He manages to make some of it and drops the gnome. At first it doesn't do anything, but then begins to float.
"YESS!!" he says forgetting about the gnome. He remembered when it nipped his ear.
"BLOODY HELL!" he said swatting at it.

Dee grabs the gnome. "Ir works!" She freezes the gnome again. "Is your ear alright?"

George, glad to be rid of the gnome puts his hand (which is also bleeding from being bit) up to his ear and it comes back more covered in blood than before. "Uh, I think it got me a couple times. Think you got anything in here to help stop the bleeding?"

"Yeah, I should. Oh, here we go." She pulls out some bandages from her bag. "They're spare bandages for my arm." She points to it, and then starts to help George with his ear. "You have a date tonight, right?"

"The three broomsticks. And then I set up a surprise for her just outside the village." He said. "Hey, do you think Pomfrey would have anything that could make the cuts go away quickly?"

George was startled by the question. "Uh, Honestly Dee, I don't know. I mean, I can tell there's SOMETHING, but I don't know what that might be." he said hoping to put her at ease.

[Sorry if my replies die a little. I'm just a TAD depressed now. XD]

George looked around. "MERLIN! Is that the time? I've got a date in 2 hours. (I said about 2 earlier because it was 2 and 20 minutes) I should get ready, and I've gotta stop by the hospital wing first and get rid of these cuts." George frantically ran in the wrong direction, forgetting there's no door there and ran into a wall. He lay sprawled on the floor of the room and one word came out before he passed out. "Bugger"

"George?! Merlin. Why right now?" Dee tried to drag George to the HW, but wasn't strong enough.
