Dee paused and turned around. "Oh...hi Fred." It was clear in her voice that she was not very happy. Her arms and face had scratches on it, and she frowned.

Fred shifted his feet awkwardly, trying to think of something to say. Then he notices the scratches on Dee's arms and face. "Merlin, Dee, what happened to you?!" he exclaimed, almost rushing over to her, but holding himself back.

"It's nothing...I was just in the forest." She rubs her arm awkwardly, and glares at the floor, cursing herself for choosing this moment to find her wand. It would have saved her a lot of awkward feelings.

Fred arched and eye brow skeptically. "In the forest doing what? Getting beat up by a tree?!" He hoped she hadn't gotten herself hurt on purpose. It was a bit awkward being alone with her again, but he figured they needed to talk about what happened eventually. "About what happened the other night..." he trailed off. "I'm really sorry," he finished lamely.

"No, I was not getting beat up by a tree." She cracks a small smile, but then scowls. "Sorry? About what exactly?" She wanted to hear him say that he didn't like her, that he didn't want her. And then she would leave. She stands up, waiting for his answer.

[Sorry, I keep getting distracted. Had to get something to eat. I haven't eaten all day. X/)

"For- for," Fred rummaged around in his brain. What should he say he was sorry for? There was so much. "For pulling back and making it seem like I don't like you," he decided on. "Which I do... like you," he added lamely. Why couldn't he talk without sounding like an idiot today?

"I- I don't really know," Fred muttered to the floor. "I may be a mastermind when it comes to pranks, but I'm rubbish with relationship stuff," he admitted.

Fred chuckled. "Sorry," he said again, shuffling his feet so that he ended up standing a little closer. Having a conversation across the room was more awkward than it already was.

"I suppose that's a good thing," he replied, his eyes drifting around the room and finally landing on Dee. "I really do like you, you know," he said, making sure she didn't have a reason to run off again. [Although I'm sure we can think of one if we need the drama llama.]

Fred grinned. "Well, that's good." He looked around the room again. 'For once in my life I actually don't feel like plotting a prank,' Fred thought, slightly aghast at himself. "Do you want to go somewhere else?" he asked taking a tiny step closer.

Fred's eyes lit up. "Oh! I just remembered that I know of the perfect spot. There's a little cluster of birches out near the forbidden forest."

[Sorry it took me so long to reply. I had to go talk to my mom.]
