"They come from their mum and dad. Their dad is a polar bear and their mum is a orangutan. And they are called Bolar Pears," Daphne replied, relieved that he wasn't looking at her like she was a loon on loon tablets, which she was, but it was quite nice that he was looking at her as if she were normal. "So you play Quidditch, then?" she asked, gesturing to his forgotten broomstick.

"...Right" That was all he could muster from that sentence. "Oh yeah. I do, but I was conteplating things first. You know, why is the sky blue, whats the square root of Pi and all that. I take it you do?" He gestured to her broom. Something sparked in Blaise at the possibilty of Daph playing Quidditch. He couldnt name it just yet, but it gave a warm feeling as if he wanted to know more about this girl.

"I believe the square root of pi is 1.7725, and I could go into some weird muggle explanation as to why the sky is blue, but I wouldn't even know where to start, let alone any of their fancy chemical terms. Those silly muggles," she replies with a little shrug. "Yep. I'm usually a beater if I'm playing, because I like smacking things. It's fun." She shrugs again. "What position do you like?"

"Wow, guess that answers my ponderings then! If you can tell me the meanign fo life I will be sorted. A beater hey? Isn't that a bit ... physical for a girl like you? No offence intended there of course." He looked her up and down appraising her small body. It was a very nice body, and with the work out that Quidditch would give it then... He stopped himself. He hadnt been with a girl since Pansy, and he didnt know if he was ready to even think about that again.

"Well, if you want to know the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything, then that's 42," Daphne said with a grin. "Dunno if that helps, but hey, you learn something new every day, right?" She mock glared at Blaise and crossed her arms across her chest defiantly. "I bet I could knock you off your broom," Daphne shot back. "I've been hitting bludgers since I was a kid. You get strong enough to hit them without much problem eventually." She stopped talking and ran her eyes over Blaise's body. He was hot. Really hot. She looked away quickly, hoping he wouldn't notice her stare.

Paused, I think.

He noticed. "Wow, you really do know the answer to everything!" He smirked at her as she crossed her arms and glared at him, as if she could knock him off his broom. He stood up so that he towered over her and looked down on her, his face just inches from her, "I'd like to see you try little missy." She looked away suddenly, and Blaise realised she had been loking at his body. Was it possible that she liked him? "I could pin you in a second."

"Would you now?" Daphne asked, smirking. "I may take you up on that. Though I'm sure you could pin me, you're a giant," she replied, gesturing to his height. And it's not like she wants him to pin her or anything. No way. Nope. <.< Not yet. "You have a Chaser's build," she observed, turning her gaze back to Blaise. "Do you play Chaser?"
